Ive brought plenty of people here and never had an issue, this includes groups of 10+ people. I tend to rave about this place and tonight was no different, but the Cosmos did not prepare me for the terrible service and extremely unprofessional management I had to deal with tonight. We got a table for four people. We had to ask the server over and over again where our food, refills, etc were. Two of our friends got entrees while me and another friend got all you can eat sushi. We got our appetizers, entrees, and the first plate of sushi fine... But it went downhill fast after that. We were there for three hours (we got there at 6:30 and didnt leave until 9:30) and only got two plates of sushi (between two people) which is not a lot at all. This was because the second plate of sushi we asked for she lost our order not once, not twice, but three times. To get on our second course it took an hour if not more, which by then our friends were almost done with their food. We also had to wait on other food items because she brought out my friends desserts out before mine. When she did bring it out, it was the wrong dessert, so we had to wait even longer. At that point we were pretty much ready to leave because it had taken forever. We also never actually got a refill on our Ginger Peach tea (which we had asked about 40 minutes prior). Now honestly if it was a few mistakes I would have understood, I know mistakes happen, but this was ridiculous. Also in the middle of our dining experience, they got really huffy at us because we were using three tables (which are small to begin with). Before we could really even react this one server just comes up to us and was like Yeah were taking one of these tables because people are coming. She barely gave us time to move the plates and everything and just ripped the table and chairs from us. When the couple who got said table came to sit down, they didnt understand why they just didnt get a table on the other side of the room which was completely vacant and usable from what I understand. They also ended up waiting 40 minutes for their meal and the male ended up getting up to get his own drink because they were taking that long. Ive never not tipped before, and Ive never had bad service at this place before, but it was so bad that this was the exception to the rule. Even to just have them take the check? Took about 15-20 minutes before we decided to just get up and actually give it to them at the service desk. We paid for our meals and headed out the door, thinking our experience was over. We walked out the door (without tipping) and said our goodbyes, but after only two minutes out the door, one of the ladies (I imagine she was a manager of some sort) actually RAN outside after us, our check and money in hand, asking why we didnt tip. I had to list off every single reason and explain that the service was deplorable. She said she understood but I cant imagine she was pretty happy. And really, if we didnt tip, you should probably understand that theres a reason. You SHOULD NOT be running out the doors after we already paid for our meal asking WHY we didnt tip. Its completely unprofessional and I couldnt believe they had the nerve to do that after all the service. Its a shame because the food here is extremely good and well worth the money, but after service like this I dont think Ill be coming back for a long time. If I want to get all you can eat sushi, I will go to Osaka, and if I just want decent asian food and drink with friends, I will go to Fujis. After all, theyre billions and billions of other good sushi/asian restauraunts I can explore if I want to.

Im currently staying at the Bay Harbour Motor Lodge, directly across busy Route 9 from this restaurant. So far, Ive dined, here, three times, and Im thinking about returning tonight (Friday). Last Friday night, both the Applebees, next door, and the Pan Asia Restaurant WERE PACKED! I thought we were in a recession?! Look, when it comes to Oriental food, Im not very experimental. I always order the same thing, General Tsos Chicken. Here, they make it GREAT! Tonight, I think Im going to order Moo Goo Gai Pan. Okay, heres where I think some people are having a problem with this place: THE LANGUAGE BARRIER! You really HAVE to be clear and concise when you speak to the wait staff, here!!! Otherwise, there CAN be "accidents." The wait staff is friendly and accomodating and theyll bend over backwards to help you, you just HAVE to be patient with them. Hey, you dont believe me, try it yourself!! I dont think youll be disappointed!!

Really has gone downhill. Food and service was great at first. It was nice to see a "real" restaurant in this town. The service is terrible now: servers are not friendly... when you get takeout, they want you to pay and leave immediately. We never get a "thank you" or a "have a good night" even after we say it first! Very bizarre behavior. Food is awful: Used to be innovative and interesting. Only place in town that has tofu dishes (this is incredible considering this is piney-town) Food tastes bland and unoriginal now. Dishes change depending on the night you order. Tofu isnt even pan fried anymore and when you tell them it used to be they tell you that youre wrong.... Tell a repeat customer theyre wrong?? Absolutely crazy. I will never go back. Let it fade away and give Applebees a bigger parking lot. It was a good try but unfortunately its just like every other place. Boring food, rude service and inconsistency...

Im new to the area and decided to give Pan Asia a try. Unfortunately the food is not good. The sushi is horrible and when I read reviews about it being great then I know the person writing the review doesnt know what good sushi taste like. Ive tried other things on the menu and when its time to pick up my food its cold. The portions are very small and on top of that they tend to forget items I ordered but have no problem charging me for them. The food is very expensive and its not worth eating even if it was for free. If youre looking for great food I would give Nikko or Fuji a try.

AWESOME FOOD. I was turned off for months by the negative reviews, upon hearing great things from a friend I decided to give it a shot. After dining there on more than one occasion I can say, the food was EXCELLENT. The thing I was most impressed with however was the variety of dishes available. Thai, Japanese, and Chinese standard dishes such as Pad Thai, Udon, Tempura, Ton Katsu are great. Even more familiar items you would find on average chinese take-out menus are done exceptionally. If you like asian fusion restauraunts, do yourself a favor and give them a shot.

My wife and I stopped in a couple weeks ago and gave this place a try. Were happy we did. The atmosphere made me forget that I was in a strip mall. The service was very good, and the food was clean and appropriately priced. My wife had the sweet and sour chicken and LOVED it. She said its one of the best sweet and sours shes had, and its really the only thing she orders. I had the Pad Thai. The shrimp was frozen, but a good size and not mushy. They spice was a bit mild for me, but there was some good flavor there. Give it a try.
