This is my favorite Chinese take-out place and probably one of my favorite places for Chinese and Chinese-ish food. Ive been going here for about 10 years every time the "fake" Chinese food craving hits and I just have to have my General Tsaos Chicken. Speaking of General Tsao, I think this place makes the best (and therefore its probably not good for you!). Its nicely deep fried on the outside and coated in delicious sauce. And they use dark meat instead of that healthy chicken breast. I think they recently introduced a Taiwanese menu and the beef noodle soup is actually very good for a take-out place. I would even venture to say their beef noodle soup is better than the sit-down noodle place across the street from it. I live very close to the place so I call ahead and pick-up every time. There arent a whole lot of parking available in front of the place, but since not many people choose to dine-in, the spots are open for the most part. Their service is pretty fast and good with food ready in about 10 minutes.

Excellent food and value. I am Chinese, and I am pretty picky about Chinese restaurants. Id call this a "diamond in the rough", an undiscovered gem of a Chinese restaurant in the highly competitive Edison area. Their portions are big, prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. The only negative about this place is that it is very difficult to park in front of the building off the very busy Rt 27. Its better to park in one of the side streets and just walk there, or even better, have your meals delivered. Theres an extra dollar of gasoline fee for delivery. Also, this is not a fancy "dine in" place. The quality is mainly in its food and value.

I called in to make an order for lunch special and was placed on hold for 5 minutes. for the owner to come back and ask me what I want. I asked him about the two different portion sizes and he tells me im taking too long and hung up. Never ate here before and damn sure never in the future. As much competition as there is you would think they would be courteous. 5 thumbs down.

EDIT from the original 5 stars: After eating here at least once a week with no complaints for the past few months, today I had a slight issue. There was meat (chicken) in my vegetarian dish. Although not a problem for most people I assume, I would expect the restaurant to be more careful. Sadly wont be coming back here for a while.

Today was the first time we ordered from here and it was great!! They were fast in delivering and the food was delicious, not as greasy as others. Even the shrimp was very clean. So glad I found a new spot!!
