****Just starting off, hope it improves......**** We went there for the first time last night. I have to say that the hostess was great, atmosphere was great and the food (that we actually did get) was awesome. We got the wings, Margarita pizza and I would tell you how the deviled eggs were but they were forgotten. The bartender just shrugged it off kind . I had ordered the sangria which was delicious so I ordered a second glass and if I took out the huge ice cube i would only have 1/4 glass. I mentioned it to the bartender asking what happened to the rest of the drink and he laughed it off and walked away. Drinks arent cheap so i would expect more. We literally sat for 10 minutes (empty glasses, no food in from of us) after asking for the check before we got someones attention to cash us out. I will be going back with friends this week and if food is forgotten and drinks are short again then I will no longer be visiting this restaurant.

Update: We made it to Cinder and met the GM and co-owner. I was pleased to see a good beer selection. Jersey is pretty far behind Phillys beer scene, but there was a great taplist with some great Jersey beer (Carton, Kane). The food was great, especially the Brussels sprout appetizer. Id also recommend the Bloody Mary. Service at the bar was excellent. Looking forward to having my friends bridal shower here! This is a revised review. And the reason for the upgraded stars is the value that comes from GMs who want to correct the situation because they care about their business and their customers experience. We have not yet eaten here, but after a very thoughtful phone call from the GM and the event coordinator we are looking forward to a nice evening to sample their food and drinks. We thank you very much Cinder for remedying the situation and look forward to a red velvet bridal shower brunch.

I couldnt wait to try the new restaurant that opened in the neighborhood. It was very crowded for a Wednesday night and I was expecting a nice restaurant. Instead it was a glorified pizza place. Apparently everything is cooked in this wood fired grill. I had no choice but to order pizza since thats what they specialize in and it had a burned smell and a burned taste. Then I ordered wings and they were burned, actually black which me and the table next to me sent back. Ugh. The atmosphere was loud and more of a sports bar type atmosphere. It was a very warm day and the air condition felt great UNTIL the owner swung opened the window beside us and let all the flies and heat in. I was expecting and hoping for so much more.

I like Cinder Bar a lot. The space is cozy and inviting. Ive only been here for a beer and to pick up takeout on Thursday nights, but there has always been a lovely crowd. The beer list is really nicely curated. Lots of local options from great breweries including Kane and Carton, as well as some out-of-town favorites like Stone. As stated, all of the food I have had from here has been take out, and its all been very good. The truffled short rib pizza is my favorite! The smoked mozzarella margherita is also very good. The lobster mac and cheese is my favorite! Its rich and creamy with HUGE pieces of lobster lurking inside. If your mouth is watering, so is mine.... so I think Ill head to Cinder Bar

This place doesnt surprise me. An area with not much to offer, this bar gives that somewhat Philly city like ambiance. Brick landscaping with a rustic feel. The drinks and food are a bit overpriced. But they can do that because the people will pay instead of driving a tad bit further for a better experience. Ill call this an updated Applebees. Pass on the short rib pizza because twocr now its been overly cooked. Nothing more than a roast. Really now??? Short ribs. Thats b.s. and their vermouth vinagerette tastes more like straight mayo. Nothing special at all. If you have the time and a little of research you will truly find a much better spot. Nice try cinder

I went in an ordered a Malibu baybreeze an a cold beer. I was told they have no malibu,or ANY type of coconut rum. How can u just open your bar n not have that. I also received a Luke warm beer and when I asked for a colder one,or just a cold one for that matter,i was told this:" its the coldest we have" we ended up walking out. Then went to there other pub called the village in an was told by there bar manager they most certainly do have coconut rum n have had it since the day they opened. So im gonna assume either the bartender was to lazy to look or they hired someone who had no clue how to tend bar. Bottom line my experience there was terrible

I asked 4 times if they were taking Mothers day reservations and was told no, it is first come first serve. It happens to be my sons first communion and we were doing a brunch afterward. Since we were having a party of 10 I wanted to reserve it. I called in March and April and visited in person in the last week of April and all 4 times told no reservations for any holiday even mothers day. Now the salon next door tells my mom, they have been taking reservations for a few weeks. Management needs to get their act together and now I am screwed out of brunch because these idiots couldnt get their heads out of their rear end!!!!!!

Service was ok to start. We got our salad an "Margherita" pizza in a reasonable amount of time. The pizza had literally 1 small leaf of basil on the entire pie. Waited 15 min for the waitress to check on us before asking for a manager, who proceeded to debate with me if a Margherita pizza should have more than 1 leaf of basil. Ridiculous. They added basil to the pie and got it back quickly, which is the only reason they get 2 stars instead of 1. Got the check, and there was no consideration for my wasted time and exasperation. Wont be returning any time soon

We tried the new restaurant last weekend. My friend ordered the Short rib Cheese steak and I ordered the Cubano. I cant believe the waitress even has the nerve to put the plate in front of me. The ciabatta roll was burnt on both sides and the sandwich is supposed to have pickles and mustard but did not. The waitress brought my friend out another sandwich that she didnt even ask for because the cook said he put the wrong cheese on her first sandwich bUT I guess its ok to send out an obviously burnt sandwich Really???

The Cinder Bar has an amazing selection of small plates, entrees and desserts. The drink selection gives you a wonderful selection to choose from as well. The wood stone wings were amazing. Definelty try the Short Rib Cheesesteak. If you like Nutella youll love the dessert options. If your looking for a change in pace from your typical restaurants, head out to the Cinder Bar. The staff is great and the service did a fantastic job at explaining the menu choices and options. Its definelty a great place to eat.
