!!! I am trying to rate this 1 star - Poor, but it keeps saving it with 5. This is wrong. Please note this should only be 1 star. Review: Did we eat at the same place? Just went there for lunch, I work in the area, and it wound up taking over an hour! There were only 2 other tables! We were only 2 people. We stood there to be seated and the manager told us to take any seat we wanted. Bad idea, because, after sitting and waiting for 10 minutes without even menus and no waitress in site, the waitress finally came out of the kitchen and never even noticed we were there. Did I mention there were only 2 other tables?? However, the manager was well aware we were there and stood there talking the whole time to 2 women. This was 12:30 - prime lunch time. 2 gentlemen came in and the waitress sat them, immediately gave them menus, and told them bread and water would be on the way - again, never noticed us, until I called out to her and had to ask for menus. Her service pretty much continued like that for the rest of the lunch. She was completely out of it, kept bringing our food to the other table! Then she kept apologizing, saying she couldnt think straight, and that her manager was on her case today. Um...? I cant even begin to say how unprofessional that is. I realize she was only one person, but again - it was almost empty! To top it off, the pizza I got (Margarita) had no taste. I had to put salt and cheese on it to elicit any kind of flavor what so ever. And, instead of fresh basil, they use pesto sauce out of a jar. The stuffed artichokes we had as an appetizer werent so great either, overloaded with garlic and missing the stuffing. The only saving grace was the pizza crust, which appears to be semolina and has almost a wheat taste. It was at least crispy and thin.

Every single dish we ordered was greasy! The chicken fontana was extremely greasy, while the shrimp scampi was super bland! The shrimp scampi felt like they had just boiled angel hair pasta and served it with a few boiled shrimps on the side. The thing that pushed us over the edge was when they eventually added the tip to the bill, and did not let us know... We looked over the bill, and asked what a certain charge was about, and were only then informed that the gratuity was also added. First of all, there is no disclaimer anywhere saying that the gratuity will be pre-included, especially since we were a party of 2! Moreover, if they are going to add the tip ahead of time, they should have the courtesy to inform the customer about it, and not be sneaky like this. In all likelihood, if we were in a hurry, or did not carefully look over the bill, we would have missed the pre-included gratuity, and double tipped 15-20% on top of the total, despite the bad food... We are never going back to this place!!!

The PIZZA is good. However! Everything else my family and I have eaten there is nasty. So nasty that my children stomach would be upset for a couple of days. Eggplant tasted ike unseasoned baked bread crumbs with cheese and sauce with some other rubber stuff in the middle. Chicken in Vodka Sauce noodles were not cooked well, sauce tasted like they poured it straight out of the can and for some reason they just dont believe in seasoning their food. I wont even start taking about the cheese fries or chicken fingers nor all the grease left behind. I do want to add that staff is always nice and I will ONLY continue to order pizza there. They do need to offer better deals on their pizza like the places in Somerville. In Somerville I can get very tasty pies if i drive there during the entire week after 5:00 pm daily for a mere $6.00. Only rule is "pick up and cash only."

Excellent restaurant, The food and service is spectacular. Each visit has me love the restaurant even more. We had my daughters baptism party here and we are beyond pleased not only with the food but with the service and ease of planning the party. Pete was extremely accommodating and helpful by creating a delicious menu that fit within my budget. Our servers were attentive and professional. The food was absolutely delicious!!!

We have eaten here several times and have never found the food or service lacking. The food is all freshly prepared and the vegetables, particularly, are not overcooked. Plate presentation is beautiful, service was good. We have never gotten a bad meal here. Oh, and Sunday night is 1/2 price night on most entrees! You really cant beat that!

Awesome! Best pizza! Friendly staff. Been coming here since opening day. This is where the neighborhood comes. The kids ride their bikes & grab a slice. Bring yr wine. People always have parties there. I work and live locally. I personally had my work Christmas party catered from there & it was fantastic! People still talk about it.

The best "neighborhood pizza" in Bridgewater. Friendly, fast service. Sit down meals are great, though we go about once every two weeks for the outstanding pizza. Many varieties, dont be shy, try something new! The upside down round and Grandmas are a couple of favorites.

The Staff at Toscanas is wonderful. I work in the area and have been going here for 3 years now. I am greeted by name and always enjoy a great meal. the pizzas are fantastic and the italian dishes are good as well. Strongly recommend. The "grandmas" pizza is fantastic.
