Im posting a review because I cant stand that people post 1 star reviews because they dont get SPECIAL treatment. Place is booked and I didnt get a reservation- boom 1 star review. I dont get take out from a sit down restaurant- 1 star. Its a joke. Youre not special, people. This place, however, is. The stuffed pork chop with mushroom risotto (mushrooms could be chopped more) is one of the best meals I have ever had. Weve hosted many parties there and every time the food and restaurant were raved about. Call ahead, bring a good bottle of wine and enjoy.

A real treasure of a restaurant. My wife and i have been celebrating our anniversary here for the last few years and it never disappoints. This past weekend, we enjoyed Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms, a rack of NZ lamb chops, and Pappardelle with shrimp and calamari in a delicious seafood broth. Agree about the butthurt 1 start reviews--you couldnt get a table because it is crowded because Girasole is a very good restaurant. You need two weeks to book a reservation here. They have their act together and service never falters, in my experience.

Excellent! From beginning to end, service was excellent. Had the zucchini floweretts special for appetizer which was incredible. Had the stuffed pork chop special which was stuffed with spinach and home made sausage and a fruit glaze on the side as well as a good portion of mushroom risotto. A++ . will definitely come again. Also, the waiter was excellent (name is Pino maybe? Couldnt recall) and comped me a glass of wine for no reason. Unvelievable service. Cant ask for a better dinner experience.

Girasoles has been my go to place for almost twenty years and I have always had a great experience there. This time although the service was wonderful, the food was disappointing. The appetizers were mediocre with tiny muscles in red sauce and zucchini flowers that tasted like eggs. Out of the four dinners ordered, two were very disappointing. I dont think I will be going back there anytime soon!

I had a dinner to celebrate my Rutgers graduation here. Not only did I love the environment, but the service was amazing! It made it feel like a fancy home dinner. Keep in mind I had a group of 30 people but they were all attended to equally. The servers were so attentive! Above all, the food is delicious! Reasonable prices for the attention, ambiance, and quality! I highly recommend it!

Place seemed great. I travel for work and love to try great restaurants like this. Unfortunately they were crowded. They had open tables which I am sure had reservations. The young hostess gave me a weird look for being alone and said they had nothing til close which was bs. May be great but I will never go there again or bring any clients there given the attitude.

We discovered Girasole about 4 years ago and its become our go too place. Dinner for 2 or for 20 they do an excellent job. The menu is great and the specials always has something new and interesting to try. Do yourself a favor try the Rigatoni Bolognese you will always come back for more. Kudos to the owners for always providing consistent excellent service!

Very disappointing that we just called Girasole Restaurant in Bound Brook to place a $300.00 take out order, and we were told "we are not taking takeout orders today" FYI turning away business is not a way to keep your customers. Never eating there again!!!!!!!

The staff were excellent and very nice. The food was delicious as well. If you like garlic, this is the place to go! I had driven by this place probably 100 times in the past, and never knew it was there. Ill definitely come back again!

One of the best BYOB Italian restaurants at a very reasonable price. I get the same two specials every visit, the Bolognese and stuff pork chop. Definitely a must visit.
