I really love this place. Theres a few bars in Bordentown at which to drink, but i find Farnsworth House to be a little too snooty and pricey for my tastes, and the beer selection at the HOB far outclasses them. The environment inside is just super comfortable, they have a jukebox and while one or two TVs will have sports on them, every time im there at least one TV has something that is NOT sports, which i greatly appreciate. (I happened to be here when Michael Jackson died and it was all over the news) The food is excellent (a surprising amount of vegetarian options and tofu is on the menu in a lot of ways which is just amazing) and very diverse and very well priced. The bartenders at the HOB are ALWAYS friendly and courteous and are happy to offer you a taste of a beer if youre not sure youll like it.

Hometown Pub with a hometown feel. The Hob is a friendly local bar in Bordentown City. Its a bar, but it also has surprisingly good food. The bartender was attentive and very nice. Its a small place, so get there early on Friday or Sat night especially in the Summer. Parking is also sparce. The Hob is located on 2nd St between Park and Crosswicks. Ive seen people park on ond of the other streets and walk there. Its easy to miss. It looks like a dive from the outside, but the atmosphere is very pleasant. Ive been here twice and would return.

Service is usually great and so is the food, however the last few times Ive been there the food has been sub par. Tonight I ordered the Nate... roast beef piled hight with bacon and fried onions and brown gravy... I got 2 slices of overcooked yet cold roast beef, no bacon and no gravy. 20 minutes later after asking twice for the gravy I get a half 2 Oz plastic cup of cold gravy...

Once you do step inside you pretty much have a drink waiting for you before your ass hits your seat. Thats how quick the service is. Chill crowd with chill people and some awesome food to boot. Go on the weekends if you wanna stay out late. Theres specials every night as well as some live bands, karaoke, and local DJs on weekends. BARTENDERS ARE AWESOME!

OMG.. I love reality and this is as real as it gets. It is a prize when you find an A W E S O M E place that is true, real and friendly. Staff perfect, customers friendly and kKitchen guys not stuck in the back. In a world where Disney is expected Real Life is the the Special Ticket that only comes with a visit to HOB.

Great little neighborhood bar. Food is amazing and they always have great beers on tap. Love the dollar tacos on Monday, theyre like Ellios pizza, not the best tacos Ive ever had but I cant stop eating them haha
