Im going 5 stars. They know how to run a Guinness tap, and frankly many people in the states dont know how this equipment works. But there is a difference and if you are knowledgeable - youll appreciate the details. The food is excellent. Its not Peter Luger, but nor is the intention. The food is great - the menu totally appropriate. They have a high level of quality. Ive seen mostly great reviews here and thats the true story of this great Irish bar/restaurant. Ive seen ver few bad reviews, but I noticed they are from chumps who frequent Comfort Inns - so play close attention to your reviewer. I go here when I golf out that way - its a great place, good people, good management and fair pricing!

My main concern of an Irish pub is that the Guinness is on tap and that the staff knows the proper way to pour it. They do here. It also doesnt hurt that the staff are friendly and efficient. The menu is extensive, the food well prepared. Best corned beef in thr tri-state area in my humble opinion. Fine selection of beer and liquor. My only gripe, and its minor, is the limited parking area. The Irish Cottage is a worthwhile destination.

Double charged my meal for 4 people wich came to a $300 bill. Menu reads wrong and charges differ. Cracked glasses and terrible service. When the situation was brought to the OWNERS attention he could not correct and at the very least make me feel better. I will never go here again and cant in good conscience recommend anyone going to place either.

Always good food and the staff is wonderful. Damien and Peter, the owners, are friendly and a great asset to the neighborhood. They sponsor fund raising events and give a lot back to the area. Building is well kept and and prices are good. Nice selection of Irish fare as well as brick oven pizzas and burgers.

What a great place to eat. Atmosphere is perfect for a night out.. We stayed at Mineral Springs and came out here for dinner. Absolutely loved the food. Food and desserts were amazing.. Relaxed atmosphere for families. Staff was excellent and attentive. So glad we came here and cant wait to come back.

Food was amazing. Took my girlfriend here on a date and we got the cottage fries (high in fat but oh so worth it) Sheppards pie (absolutely delicious) and the Buffalo wrap with sweet potato fries which my girlfriend loved. Will absolutely be coming back here many more times. Highly recommend!

First time eating here and it was fantastic! The prices reasonable, portions were great and the food was delicious. What made the meal though was the level if service received from Erin. Erin is an outstanding restaurant professional and we will be asking for her when we go back!!

The Iris Cottage Inn looks good both outside and in. The restaurant is divided into a bar area and two separate dining areas. Theres a small, but decent selection of draft beers. The food is standard pub grub, but decent. Do however, avoid the pizza...its awful.

We were craving Irish food after a good day of hiking in Stokes Forest and this was perfect! We had the corned beef and Shepards pie and both were some of the best we have had. Dont know about the rest of their food but the Irish fare was great!!

Food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and on top of things. Always had refilled waters. Crab cakes are the best crab cakes ive had. The chicken pot pie was also very good. We will be going back for more yum yums.

The hostess was the rudest Ive encountered in a while. Our server was wonderful, she more than made up for the nasty female up front. My burger was way over done but the apps were excellent. Ill skip this place next time.

Local Townie bar. Cheap drinks. Karaoke night was unexpectedly fun since there were more on-lookers than singers - as such we were able to hog the mic all night. A+++, would gladly sing badly to 80s cheese rock again.

Not really and Irish pub but a nice bar/restaurant. The out door area is really nice and is hidden from the traffic. The food was great and every one in my twelve person group was full or had left overs.

The nachos were simply disgusting, the chili looked like dog food, dry and tasteless. The gaelic burger that I order cost $15 and the bun was stale. The coke was warm and flat. Never going back...

The irish guy behind the bar was cool, and the food was good but the owner or manager (whoever he was) was kinda rude to us.

The de facto spot for local nights out. Food seems a bit overpriced for what it is, but no real complaints.
