The hostess was kind, but the waitress could care less. Seemed completely uninterested in waiting on me, and much more interested in her waiter-boyfriend. The food was just okay--I got a hot roast beef sandwich, but the onion rings were hard to eat because the breading didnt stick at all. The dessert case looked really appetizing, so I got the hostess recommendation, the chocolate cake. I warned her I am a pastry chef, but she said it was great. SO WRONG. It was dry cake, completely inedible, I think I got dehydrated from just taking a bite. The icing tasted like a can, with 20 more pounds of sugar added. The next day I tried the Oreo cheesecake--I had never eaten an overbooked cheesecake in my life, but now I have. Again, inedible because it was so overbaked. I then decided to give them on more shot because Im in town for 2 weeks, and the elephant ears, or palmiers (but no one knew what a palmier was), were AWFUL. They were soggy, underbaked, and again, inedible. It looks great, but the looks are deceiving. Not worth your time or money.

First and foremost I just want to say first expressions are everything! Its that crucial time where I dont know you and you dont know me. What did I do to the waitress for her to be so rude!?!?!The greeter was attentive and made me feel welcome, but sadly the the service I got from the first waitress was terrible!!! As I sat at the bar area and waited for 15 mins before someone acknowledged me. The waitress comes along and says sternly is this for here or to go. I replied to go and not a sec later before I could say anything she said Ill come back and walked away meanwhile attended to a patron whom she had already served with patience and kindness while I sat and waited again. Someone finally helped me again took my order in the same manor ..I waited and waited..my food never came..I eventually just left, I guess I was to brown for good customer service. Thats sad, because the Voorhees Diner seems like a nice place to dine out but Ill never know. Thanks to such poor service. I dont recommend anyone to eat there.

The foods fine, but its ridiculously priced! I ordered a grilled cheese and fries. The grilled cheese was $5, and when I got my bill, I saw that fries were and additional $3.50!! Thats practically as much as the sandwich. When I brought it up to the cashier, one of the girls was sweet and apologetic (I believe she was new) while the other girl had a major, unnecessary attitude considering I didnt raise my voice or make a scene; I was simply asking about the price. I dont think Id go back considering there are plenty of other diners in the area that are more reasonably priced and are just as good.

Overall I would only give this three stars and its not really because of one particular issue but just the overall blandness of the experience. The food was bland (altough better then average) and the home fries were luke warm at best. Our waitress, while friendly, rarely checked on us and we couldnt grab her attention to bring issue with our home fries or get refills. I will say that the banana pancakes had a hearty helping of banana on top, so definitely applaud them in that category. I would be willing to give this another shot as like I said overall it wasnt bad or great.

Just went to the Voorhees Diner with a party of five. Service was slow, food okay as far as diners go but the real problem was the man at the register as we were leaving. He was very impatient, not friendly at all and even was ROLLING his eyes and huffing under his deep breaths as we added on a tip to the total. Wow! Talk about needing to learn courtesy and hospitality. Hate to tell him but if he treats customers like that.... good luck keeping your patrons. Were DONE with that place. Learn to appreciate your customers. Diners are a dime a dozen. Next!!

I ordered a hamburger here and asked for it to be made well-done. It was served to me almost raw and looked like bloody plastic. It was so undercooked I think the Camden County Department of Health would be interested in hearing about it. When I politely reminded my waitress that I wanted my burger well-done, she did not apologise and quietly took my plate back to the kitchen. Five minutes later, the waitress comes back with a now well-done burger on the same plate with raw meat juices absorbed into the buns and on the fries.

I go here all of the time, and always get a French onion soup. Today three of us ordered French onions and it tasted like pure lemon ... we couldnt eat it. We didnt see the waitress since weve ordered and she brought us the check. We mentioned the soup taste to her, and she asked if we want the cook to make us another. After sitting for an hour, finished our entrees, and being given the check she asks us if we want new soups.... we said no thank you and she didnt even offer to adjust the check at all. Very disappointed today...

Visited this place for breakfast and wasnt disappointed. Portions were huge (except for beverages) and fast for a holiday weekend. The service was subpar: the waitress checked in on us regularly but didnt offer to refill our drinks. The desserts on display looked too good to pass up and were on the agenda initially but after our huge feast we decided against it. This is a great place as far as diners are concerned. The menu is huge so there is something for everyone who visits.

they give you a pile of food but its terrible food. Breakfast - foot sized portion of hashbrowns, tan on outside, not fully cooked outside. Cheapest cornbeef hash a diner can serve. Also a large portion, I packed it for dogs. They should buy more quality food and give normal portions. Waitress was nice but could have just thrown my money out my car window on way in. It is NOT the best, not even fair. yuck. I gave them a chance about 4 times now, dinner and breakfast. No more!

Food is priced a little high for standard diner fair, but it was good. The waitress forgot to refill my coffee or my husbands cola until she brought us the check the very end. She said she "had to brew a new pot." She did in fact have to make a new pot, but it had been finished for a solid 10 minutes. She was more interested in talking to another employee and goofing off. I guess she forgot that we could see her the whole time.

Wont be going back! We were on a tight schedule, and service was good, but I ordered a omelet and found a Hair but after cutting into it I found another Hair! the waitress was very apologetic and brought me another one, but it made us late for a meeting and they didnt offer any price break for the time wasted waiting for a new omelet! Also the food was below average for the price I paid.

Being open 24 hours and still pretty new is the big draw here. When this place reopened after being closed for awhile it was damn good and we came here a lot late at night. The more time passed Im sure cooks change and so does the taste of the food. Its never been bad but now its pretty average. The waitstaff has always been good and place clean I just wish the food was consistent.
