Stay far away from Checkmate Pizza in Londonderry. My girlfriend and I are new to Londonderry so we figured to give Checkmate a try. She had chicken tenders and fries and I had an Italian sub and buffalo wings. The next morning we both woke up extremely sick, throwing up...etc. My girlfriend ended up having to go UrgentCare and they diagnosed her with food poisoning. I called this location to tell the manager what happened and he proceeded to tel me that the chicken may have been undercooked. Anyways, the manager was not willing to give us a refund. Stay far away from Checkmate as they also did not do the right thing by refunding us. We will forever tell locals to stay away from this place.

The food is good. However i think the customer service is sub par. Anytime Ive ever called to place an order i get an employee who seems like theyre depressed and would rather not even be taking an order. No manners. Also when ive gone in to pick something up the girl at the counter was very rude. I stood there for 5 10 mins when she was socializing... Waiting to even be asked what i needed. Another employee had to come over and ask... Long story short my pizza was ready before i arrived.. I was standing there for 10 minutes waiting for my already done pizza.

Pizza came 50 minutes after ordering and cost $22 for a large Hawaii. $25 with tip for a pizza!!! It was so soggy we couldnt pick up a slice without it falling apart. I called to complain and informed them I dont want to wait another 45minutes for a new one so I put it in the oven. I was offered a credit but declined and asked for a refund. I was told I will get the refund if we give them back the pizza. Waiting for them to pick it up now and will never order from them again.

WOW..we very rarely order from Checkmate..my kids do cause they love their $5.00 pizzas..but i called them today and ordered a Ham & Cheese sub for my husband and a Tuna sub, then called back to change it to a Salad w/Tuna..I was so impressed with the quanity of food and the taste was awesome..I just wanted to say Thank You..Keep up the Great Work.. ordered pastami, roastbeef and kings favorite subs, pastami was burnt, only ony piece of roastbeef in roastbeef sub and kings favorite had no roast beef 1 pice of turkey and 2 pies of ham on a 14" sub. there was bacon on it but old and brittle. very dissapointed, no meat. will not order again and would strongly discourage any one from ordering from here.

I have been ordering Pizza and salads from these guys for a few years now and only had one bad experience. Not even worth mentioning. I am about to call again tonight. I always tip the delivery guy at least $5.00. Maybe tonight it might be more because its so hard to get a pizza any better and quicker. I love their salad too.

I have been ordering for the past 3 years and very disappointed. The prices have gone up so much. How can you pay 18 plus for a pepperoni pizza. Not to include i had delivery service and by the time i recieved my food it was wrong half the time, cold and sawggie. So disappointed because its at a great location.

Just called to order and use a coupon from a 2 page ad they have in spectrum magazine and was told they never heard of it and they would not honor it, even though I am bringing in the ad and coupons. Complete lack of professionalism and employees not knowing what owners are doing for advertising.

Very displeased with the service at this location. Delivery takes over an hour and the food is cold every time. They do not provide plates or utensils either. If I am paying 30 dollars for ONE large pizza, I expect it to be hot and to have plates to eat off of. I will never order from here again.

Way to expensive cost $19 for 2 drinks and a 14"sub. And in sorry but the steak in our steak and cheese sub was pathetic. I will never come here again if Im going to pay $15 for a sub (including tax) I expect to be full when Im done not wanting to go to eat somewhere else after.

It was ok pizza. I paid almost $50 (this included a coupon) for 2 pizzas, fries and chicken fingers. The pizza was stuck to the paper under it in the box, so the slices fell to pieces. Also the chicken was very fatty. Otherwise good flavor, fresh veggies.

Probably the best pizza in Londonderry. Decently priced and offer a variety of toppings. They also offer giant pizzas, which can be useful if youre having a party. My only complaint is every once in a while they dont chop up the veggies enough.

They made the food wrong twice and it was delivery, so we waited about 3 hours for food. They are rude and do not honor their word. I will never go there again.

Almost $20 for just a pepperoni pizza delivered and it was mediocre at best. That wasnt including a tip for the poor driver.
