I have eaten here 2 times now, had the drunken noodle, steam dumplings, coconut soup and masoman curry with beef (ordered new years 2015 and 2/27/15). I also am a thai food fanatic, and love it more than anything and have tried every one I come upon. With that said, this is my least favorite thai resturaunt I have ever tried in all my years. Why: Prices are a little more then the average thai restaurant (by 5-10%). 12+$ for the same dish that costs 9$ at other resturaunts. Decor is really lackluster never take a date here. On 2/27/15 no vacuuming was done. Signs with bad English written on white paper on the door. Food is really not well cooked. Examples: Dumplings while reasonably priced had no garnisg, served to me a bit cold on the ends. When asked if fresh or frozen, of course they are all frozen which explains why they were cold in some areas. My curry had peanuts and a peanut sauce (DID NOT TASTE LIKE CURRY!) Drunken noodle was simply a very flaud recipe. Coconut soup was average without any garnish. NO FRESH HERBS ON ANYTHING, NOT EVEN CILANTRO! Wait staff was nice, pleasent but not happy to be there. She did not know thai cuisine but found answers to questions when asked. overall I would give a 1.5 star if possible because it is more acurate. I belive in trying almost any place 2 times but this was really not good. Overall: I am amazed people think this is 5 stars which could mean they have gone downhill buy the recent posts suggest I simply have a difference of experiences. Out of every Thai restaurant in the seacoast are this is the one I would advise people to skip over. If major changes to the menu happen I would try it again in a heartbeat because I love seeing places get better and have passion, this has no passion for cooking at this time.

The pho is really good. We are from Austin and the pho we have there is delicious, we have had a hard time finding a place that even compares but Sara Thai has done it! The atmosphere is nice, plenty of parking, friendly and fast service. Prices are reasonable and portions are perfect. This place and Thai Cuisine in Dover has really turned my cravings from crappy chinese food to Thai! I drive out of my way just to eat at these two places! I do not have authentic thai experiences but what I have tried is so good!

I came here because the pho was reviewed positively by someone else. Im used to pho places in and around Boston, often with "pho" in the name of the restaurant. This pho tastes nothing like that. It hardly tastes like anything but water and noodles, except for the meat which tasted awful. The bean sprouts were also not fresh - kind of damp with their own withering juices. Finally, the side of crab rangoon was hot on the outside and cold on the inside. I will not go again.

My wife and I discovered Sara Thai about two years ago, and its a regular stop for us. The food is fresh and always promptly prepared. They have the best pan fried dumplings in the seacoast. Usually I develop a favorite dish or two at restaurants that I frequent, but at Sara Thai I just keep trying new dishes because Im amazed at how much I enjoy them all. The food is so good there, in fact, that we have almost stopped eating Chinese food completely.

Best Thai in town in my opinion. Weve been coming here for years now and its always good and prompt. Most takeout orders are ready quickly and are consistent and hot. The dine-in experience is pretty nice too, and they recently have done some great upgrades to the interior including a new bar in the last year or so. Highly recommended!

First time trying Thai food. This place had solid reviews. It definitely lived up to them. Food was awesome and the portions were big. The crab rangoons were some of the best Ive ever had. The building isnt much to look at but they deliver on the quality. Ill definitely be coming back again.

Sara Thai is not only has the best Thai food Ive ever had, the staff are some of the friendliest people youll ever meet. The food is incredibly fresh, and made to your specific order, good prices, and a great atmosphere as well! If you like Thai food, check this place out!

Best Thai in the area. We love their spring rolls and dumplings, but all their dinners use fresh ingredients and taste great. You can see the quality and care they put it. A hidden gem, never a wait there, and great specials. Better than: Kaophums and Thai Cuisine

Great foods and service! The Pho was very flavorful as well as the spring roll was delicious! The service was fantastic as well with the owner (assuming) and one of the cool all were talking to us. Definitely will be going back there soon!

The Mee Pad (made w/Chicken & Fried Tofu vs. Shrimp) is UNREAL. (Its better when they hit is a little spicier and they use hot sesame oil or whatever other magic they use to make that dish). Get it. Youll want it once a week!

Been a customer for years! Absolutely the most AUTHENTIC Thai food in NH!! Homegrown peppers, mint, and basil that is so delicious! Food is packed full of flavor and spice! Fresh and just simply awesome!

Like others have written it doesnt look like a lot but the food here is excellent. The waitstaff really get to know you and its quick enough for lunch break. The Pad Thai is the best around.
