Where to start? My God, the owner Jenny is insane. Insane doesnt even describe it actually. My 70 year old friend went in one Sunday with me to watch the "Elvis" impersonator show and Jenny had the gall to throw her out because she didnt want to buy alcohol or food. Obviously they must be hurting financially since the place looks like it hasnt been updated since the 80s - paint is actually falling off the walls, and the structure itself looks unsafe. As for the food, my friend was the lucky one by not eating because it was disgusting. Vile, greasy and overcooked! Anyway, back to my friend...Jenny was actually screaming at her like a lunatic. I quote "We pay thousand dollah to band to play here, you have to buy food or drink!!!" My friend has asthma and had her water with her, and thats all she wanted and was likely to order a drink later in the evening, but apparently even soda is not enough for Jenny. Although they have a sign out front that says "no cover charge" Jenny feels otherwise, even to the point of harassing elderly patrons. The Elvis show was pretty bad actually, so no need to ever go here again. Judging by the few patrons that appeared to be "regulars" the only people who think this place is good are raging alcoholics. Disgusting! Honestly, Ive never had a worse experience in my dining-out life!

Ive been eating here since I was in kindergarten and during all those years I have not ONCE seen anything as described in the two most recent comments. The General Gao is good for the price offered (about $6 at lunch that comes with a bowl of fried rice). And working as a cashier for a year let me tell you; systems crash. Sometimes terminals that read cards go offline and must be restored and monitored for a few days. Hell, just last Sunday almost the whole system at work crashed and the WIC system wouldnt come back; it still could be down as of writing this. Trust me, theres been a reason as to why I go back since I was a babe.

Couldnt understand a word the waitress said. General Gau was horrible! Sauce on it was bottled junk. I also can sear that some of the employees here are illegals so be prepared for that... Oh yeah, there is a picture of the OWNERS BABY on the wall???!!! Thats so wrong! Bathrooms also were disgusting with NO SOAP! HOW DO YOU WASH YOUR HANDS WITH NO SOAP??? One of the worst ever. Avoid. (Place was also empty on a Friday. Including the bar! YIKES!)

I have been a loyal customer for many years place order and delivered day old food. Burnt carb ragoons and hard chicken fingers hardly no rice. When called I was told nothing they could do for me. I had to fight for 10 minutes to get crab ragoons. Taking my business else where after all these years. They also told me they where busy yesterday. Wont replace my meal when I asked.

The Gourmet Oriental restaurant has the best entertainment on Sunday afternoons. Roland Julius, an Elvis Presley impersonator is great! Every Sunday from 5pm to 6:30pm. With a full band of the best musicians in the area. Bring the kids, bring your parents, grandparents too! Every one will enjoy this show. The food us pretty darn good too!

Dont waste your money. Ordered here tonight. Made golden dragon truly seem golden. Their wings, dried out, chicken fingers puny, rangoons mushy, terriyaki burnt, spring roll full of green gook, scallion pancakes all bread and burnt on the edges. Garbage. Get in your car and Go to McDonalds its better and under ten bucks.

Shady and illegal business practices, stopped taking credit cards once the bar was full. Refused to accept my card and told me they were cash only even though I could see the open credit card tabs right in front of me on the bar. They just said "no, we dont take cards" when I called them out for it.

Went there on a Sunday afternoon to watch the Elvis show. When we arrived the hostess asked how many, took menus and then disappeared. We had to find out own tables behind the bar only to find those 4 tables had small bugs crawling on them. Will never go back, and especially will not eat there

Their food was greesey pricey they were not really pleasant. When I was there the waiter says I couldnt order of toffee lunch menu. When I asked why I was told with groups of 4 or more we dont allow it.
