I started going to Spirit World about two years ago, after I was introduced to the world of craft beers. Their beer selection is fantastic and that is probably why I went there originally. The reason I have become a "regular," is the team members at SW love their craft, theyre ridiculously knowledgeable and theyve taken a genuine interest in helping me explore pallet. After about a year of treating craft beer as my new hobby, a couple of the people at SW suggested I expand my pallet. I learned a lot about rum and gin, but found scotch, whisky and bourbon to be my new home. I really love that they have a small bar where I can order just little bit of an item or do a flite, to help me find what I like and even find new favorites. I have gone to Spirit World enough that I know just about every employee and I have started to consider some of them friends.

I heard about Spirit World from a few friends who always talked about the great selection. Im more of a wine fan and my husband really likes some hard to find beers, so friends were always recommending it as a great place to find everything we like - one stop shopping. Well, those friends were right! I was impressed with the great selection and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Id recommend Spirit World to everyone! We stopped by on our way to a party recently and we were able to pick up a great salad at the deli to bring along. Great store!

Im past the crazy partying stage. Before I found Spirit World, I had a hard time finding that perfect establishment to spend some time shooting the whatsit with friends. I needed somewhere that had an assortment of sweet and salty snacks - a place that had a beer assortment that gave me stouts, ales, and porters and just a few less pale ales - scotch variety was a necessity and Ive always over tipped on a competent and friendly bartender. Spirit World is best for eating lunch, having a crafted cocktail at the bar to try something new or an event like a tasting. As a place to actually purchase your spirits, this place can be hit or miss. I try to support neighborhood businesses first, but I rarely find everthing needed here and end up going to Hy-Vee anyway. When I want to try a new cocktail at home, it would be nice to get all the supporting players (like limes or soda water) in one place.

The staff is out of this world full of knowledge when it comes to spirits. From vodka to gin to sake and yes even wine. These aficionados have it together and can help you decide on the perfect pairing or get you to taste something new. They have regular tasting events and you can even rent the place for gatherings. Small intimate gatherings can be hosted in the private room. Ask for Alzuri tell him I sent you!

I love Spirit World! Did I mention I am a huge wino as well too. Spirit World is great for lunch, a hangout spot, or having a drink before or after dinner. They always are there to help with anything you are looking for. They have handled my Holiday Party each year from catering all the food in to cooking a sit down dinner for my office. Spirit World can handle it all!! Just call!

We stopped by Spirit World last Friday and had a fantastic experience. The food was great, service was exceptional--all around great experience. We did a whisk(e)y and wine tasting--Devin was very knowledgeable and taught us so much more about tastings than expected. This isnt your typical "liquor" store--the staff really knows their products and they are passionate about what they do.!

A unique spot in Omaha with great wines and rare beers. They hit the trifecta, knowledgable staff, very good customer service and fantastic product (food/drinks). The charcuterie is top two in town along with Lot 2. The food is always great, fresh and ontime, service again is prompt and friendly and the craft cocktails, wine and beer are on point. Highly recomend Spirit World.

Outstanding experience. Went in to just browse and walked out with great stuff. An expert on the products came and helped answer every question we had. Extremely friendly and a vast amount of knowledge. More than happy with my purchase. Prices are ok but the knowledgeable help from the staff will definitely make me come back. My new favorite shop in town.

There is a real dedication to customer satisfaction, education and available selection to patrons. While Spirit World deals in the finest selection of wines and liquor in the state, there are no egos, pretensions, or pressure. Finally, their food is always fresh and wholesome. Most of all, the people there are fantastic!

I really dont drink and I came here to find a good holiday drink for our family get together. The staff was VERY helpful and had a ton of knowledge!!! The prices are a little high, but it is well worth it!!! The samples of food were fantastic and it was a great environment! I will definitely be returning for more gifts!

Best selection in the whole city. Fair prices. Quality, healthy foods. Fun gift items and cards. If you havent been there for a while, you need to try it again--the new owners have really changed it for the better. Stop in for lunch and browse a bit--take a wine home for dinner--theyll help you choose a good one!

Great selection of all types of alcohol, though it is a bit expensive. I say if you want a relatively common brand, look at a Wal-Mart or Hy-Vee. But again, there are great finds here. I have not had the food, so cant comment on that. Since Brix closed, this will be my place to find good variety.

Spirit World has the best wine and beer selection in town -- hands down. They back up their fantastic selection with knowledgable and friendly (but not overly aggressive) staff. Ive been shopping there for over 10 years and have had nothing but positive experiences.

Best selection of wine and beer in town. The staff helped me select a couple bottles of wine for a dinner party and my friends loved it. I’m going to have them help me select another bottle for Valentine’s Day. Btw, good stuff at the deli too.

Great selection of everything- beers, wines, and spirits. They do fun events too! In found the staff to be really helpful and knowledgeable. You can go in just to purchase spirits, or hang out and have a glass of wine. Really cool place.
