Were transported tonight at The Palette….totally sold by the attentive service, cleanliness, and outstanding food (presentation and savory flavors)…we’ll DEFINITELY be back!!! And we made a great connection with owner, Tonia…and youve got to check out the upstairs new bar which tentatively opens June or July. We had the coconut shrimp appetizer and I had the coconut curry fish tacos, but we all were sharing tastes of each others entrees because they all were so tantalizingly yummy….WOW…then topped off the meal with gourmet desserts. I felt like I was on vacation again on the coast. We even got to meet the chef who was so personable. Tonia, I adore your creative mind and superb welcoming personality. Topeka deserves an establishment like The Palette, where everyone is welcomed and can enjoy the relaxing environment.

I love this restaurant. The friendliness of the owner and the fact that she tries to please everyone. I have never had anything there that I didnt love. Very unique take on some common sandwiches that make them so much above any place else. My husband had a steak there that was fork tender with a sauce that he really didnt know if he would like it. So different and he loved it! You must try the fried PB&J. It is sinful! Each time I go I get something different and I have never been disappointed. Please support this restaurant and all the other small businesses in Topeka. The franchise stores are fine but it is so nice to go to a place that doesnt mass produce food! Its hidden away in the back of this building but plenty of places to park back there and that just adds to its uniqueness!!!

Had lunch there today. Best coleslaw I have ever had. Rueben was also great. Cant wait to try other items on the menu. Gumbo is a favorite of mine so I will try that next. I really hope this plase makes it. Yes, the location is a little wacky buy hey, its still way better than battling the crowd on Wanamaker for chain food after a long wait. Best variety of selections in town, along with the nicest, attentive staff to go with it. Give the Palate and take some friends. Help Keep a REAL resturaunt going in Topeka !

First impressions as I walked in, great job of looking Arty and romantic setting. Menu choice was very good to see some healthier options for example pea and dill dumpling soup. I would recommend anyone that likes trying out new places and new foods all cooked fresh while you wait . Well done pallete. A+ only thing I would change would be the plastic flowers. And finally I agree with the other posts that the owner has passion and thats what makes it a great resturant.

Just Wow! This restaurant screams amazing! Since I have eaten here, when I dine elsewhere I am just disappointed. Not only is the food to live for but the ambiance feels like nothing else Topeka has! The staff work as a team and no details are left unattended! They example high end familiar foods in contemporary setting with competitive pricing.....I appreciate their authenticity and genuine demeanor. U just have to try this place ! Ovation

My wife and I ate there for the first time. We had cheesy shrimp and grits they were to die for. we also had the chicken gumbo it was very good we had the chicken and homemade waffles very southern cooking. The whole dining experience made you were at a high end steak restaurant. Very reasonable prices. The staff made you feel warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back. They also deliver and cater.

I had my reservations about a restaurant attached to an arcade type setting. Upon entry that changed. Greeting was great, atmosphere was unique and fun but with a very chill feel as well. Think laid back upscale restaurant. The food was soooooo good. The service was incredibly personable and knowledgeable. Go eat here if you get the chance. Try it for yourself and you wont be disappointed.

Great food and decor. I love the blue wall with all the writing on it. The curry fish tacos were a tad too sweet, but it was still delicious. This is a hidden gem! The menu descriptions were fun to read as well. First time here, and Ill definitely be back. Adequate wait time for how great this food is.

Wonderfull food! Great and interesting menu options. I had the stewed goat and it was packed with flavor and was super filling. The owner was very engaged with our dining experience. There was an arcade connected to the building but it did not negatively impact our experience.

This restaurant was FANTASTIC. Celebrated Mothers Day (a day late) and had trouble deciding what to order! We were all SO impressed with the food and the servers were prompt and helpful too. Send your friends and get this place more business! We will definitely be back!!

I travel to Topeka once or twice a year to join a group of sewists at The Sewing Workshop. Several of us always make a point to visit Tuptim Thai. It is owned and managed by a couple from Thailand. The food is delicious, and the service friendly.

They are nice but service was poor. Dropped off the check then we didnt see anyone for 15 minutes + to take it. Loooong wait for food... even the salad took 20+ to make it out. Food was decent but on par with cracker barrel maybe.

Truly outstanding. Try the "Trash Fries" or substitute broccoli for the fries! Maybe even add Thai peanut sauce. A flavor extravaganza! So many amazing unique creative items to choose from. Definitely our favorite place.

Id like to say the food was good but since after AN HOUR AND A HALF with it not coming we finally called our waiter over & politely told him we were leaving. We did get our cheese sticks appetizer. Not good - barely warm.
