We have visited Shamrocks quite a few times, before and after the fire/remodel. Weve tended to stick with certain foods on the menu but last night we both decided to try something new. I ordered the pasta alfredo with blackend chicken. The pasta and sauce tasted just like a frozen dish you zap in the microwave. Elbow style pasta with gritty tasteless white sauce, not alfredo. The chicken was grilled ...not sure when but ahead of time...... then sliced and sprinkled with some spices not really blackend as the Cajuns do. Very little flavor in any of the dish. There was an attempt to make the dish look presentable by sprinkling seasoning around the edge of the serving dish. We also ordered the chicken wrap which was decent. Service was soso but we were out on the patio and the servers have a lot of running in and out. FYI if you appreciate a good Margarita do not order one at Shamrocks. I ordered the lime and it was pure sugar!!! The patio seems to be sorely neglected. A lot of mix and match...not done well....broken plants...crooked pots....fake flowers. A designers touch and a little work could seriously improve the ambiance outside. The one thing they cannot control is the noise level from the trucks passing by on the hiway. Possibly a sound barrier wall on the north side of the patio would be helpful. We will go back occasionally, sometimes they have some good entertainment and the beer selection is great!

The Rueben had very little meat and the quality was not there but it was loaded with sauerkraut guess it should have been called a Veggie Sand with a LITTLE Meat forgot the swiss cheese and 1000 Dressing had to ask for that the FF were maybe 10 on the plate, the server knelt down to take orders which is very unprofessional. The plate that they gave me with my sandwich on was DIRTY. Overall we will not go back - - If I want a reuben or if anyone wants a Reuben or Corn Beef Sand go to Carls Deli on Clayton Rd they use the best quality meat that you can find and there is 10 oz of meat on a sandwich and we always will split the sandwich and the value is awsome for around $7.00.

Have been here a few times and always had great time and the shepherds pie is awesome. But I went ther on St Patricks and not to my surprise they had a great crowd, great dj. Paid for most of all of my drinks with cash except 1. Paid for that drink with my debit card, tip the bartender and the total with tip was 7 bucks. To my dismay when the transaction cleared it was 8 bucks. So whomever processed my bill turned my 7 into an 8 to get a larger tip. Now I realize its only a dollar but if that bartender did it once that night to me whom else and how much did that person steal from other patrons?!? Just a point to think about when paying for drinks with a card.....

I was at a seminar all day and one of the attendees suggested we go here afterwards. It was already 7:00 pm, so I was really hungry. Fortunately, we had a wonderful server, our food was delivered before we knew it, and I made a delicious choice--the blackened chicken pasta. I would certainly order it again. Generous portion, and significantly spicy but not too spicy. Some spices left on the side of the bowl for an attractive presentation so you can essentially add more if you want. Pasta cooked perfectly, and excellent flavor! I prefer restaurants that are pretty :) and this one is more the sports bar--nothing wrong with that; its just a personal preference.

The food here is pretty good. Its a non-smoking restaurant. They have lots of beers on tap and normally have tv screens with the names and details about those beers, but if their internet goes down, they cant update their beer menu. Other than beer, they have a martini and vodka menu on a chalk board. Id like it if they had some frozen rum drinks, but I doubt that will happen. Last time we visited some of our fries and chips werent quite finished cooking, but normally they are good. My husband says their pretzels are the best bar pretzels and he is an expert pretzel eater.

This place has a fun loving class about it. Sports are the star at this bar...cohosted by the food! Itss my favorite crowd to watch the St. Louis Blues team with! If youre hungry and looking for delicious food that not typical at a great sports loving Irish pub, get the shepards pie. You will never be disappointed! I make my boyfriend get something different every time so I can get it! Brat burgers there are delicious, and the Reuben deviled eggs are almost as good as the spud skins. The choice of different drafts displayed on a TV screen is another feature to love.

For someone who attends roughly once a week, I recommend this place. The Pot O Gold is perfect for a group of four. For a relatively new establishment I fell in love with it from the beginning. Overall the environment is friendly. Ive been attending for almost a year and I have not had bad service. They could have easily had new hires (hence being new and all). The only thing we nag on them about is having yanked the pool table. Which we remind them frequently! I better get a pool table in there for this review! :D

Shamrocks went above and beyond to serve our party. We had a misunderstanding with a reservation we went in after the kitchen closed and the owner opened the kitchen for our party. The food was great the customer service was 5+++ stars and the atmosphere was welcoming!!!! Thanks for allowing us to celebrate my husbands birthday with you all it was greatly appreciated!!!!!! We will be back during regular kitchen hours

Just had a bday party for 40 and the evening couldnt have gone better. The food rocked and a shout out to our server Paul and the cute girl in the white knee socks who kept beer buckets, glasses and tummies full. Thanks to Kyle, Kelly and the rest of the mgmt. team for suggestions to help make the evening work so well. Even the karaoke singers were outstanding. Thanks for a wonderful time.

Have been to Shamrocks many times and each and every visit is delightful! Love the food and drinks, so many options, plus the martinis are unique and delicious! Great place for a get together with friends. Owners are very accommodating for large get-together or special events (mini reunions, baby showers, etc) Would recommend that everyone visit Shamrocks Pub and Grill!

I took my family there on a Friday night. It was not overly busy which I like. They had a really good beer selection. There was a lot of draught. My uncle ordered the Bangers and mash, he was not overly impressed. He said it was dry I had the Mac and cheese. It was good but the portion was smaller than I would have liked. Service was good.

Ashley, "Smashley", was my bartender and after staring at a menu for what seemed like an eternity, I finally asked what the specials were. She was great in telling them to me but admittedly, all I heard was BLT. I wasnt disappointed at all!!! Freaking fantastic. I loved the food and Smashley was awesome! Ill definitely be coming back.
