We like to have places to get a nice drink, so we got there about a half hour early to have a pre-dinner drink. They have an excellent bar, very good selections of cocktails, liquors, wine, and beer. The bartenders were excellent and very attentive. We had reservations for 6:30pm and when we showed up I did not think that they were needed, but by the time we sat down around 6:35pm I was glad that we had them. Once they have been open for a couple months I am pretty sure they will be necessary for anything after 6pm on the weekend. The atmosphere and décor are great. Nice big concrete bar with plenty of tall tables inside and lower tables on the patio. It was too cool to sit out there, but they have what looks like a very nice patio to go with a lot of seating in the bar. The only thing that was difficult to find was the restroom, but the wait staff was very friendly and actually guided my wife most of the way. The food was excellent and what I thought was a good serving size. This is a quality over quantity kind of establishment, which I will always take. We had the Lava roll as an appetizer and it was honestly one of the best rolls I have ever had, and we have been to some pretty nice Sushi restaurants. My wife had the Lobster Roll, sandwich not sushi, and the side of the day and I had the St. Louis Pork Steak. They were both excellent, so good in fact that it is one of those situations were might have to get them every time we go just so we are not disappointed. :) Overall excellent experience. We will be back many times I am sure.

March 2017. I had to upgrade my review to five stars based on the fabulous entrées we ordered for dinner. Ordered the half chicken and the scallops. The cauliflower gratinée soufflé that came with the scallops was extraordinary. The scallops themselves were among the best I have ever had. And the chicken was cooked well nigh perfectly. Previous review: Ordered the lamb sirloin sandwich with truffled potatoes. I was ambivalent about the truffle, at first. On a second visit I ordered the portobello sandwich, again with the truffled potatoes, and was less ambivalent. Its a dish that grows on you. After a bite, you want another bite, and then another, until the potatoes are gone. I was less enthused about the lamb. The amount of lamb was insufficient to balance against the bread. My friend ordered the Prasino burger and shared a bite with me. Based on that one bite it was one of the tastiest burgers Ive had. January 2016

The service wasnt that great, we had 10 in our party so I guess the included gratuity was enough to make the waiters stand around and chat instead of refilling our over priced drinks. I had the Roasted Pear Salad, it sounded delicious with pears, honey, lemon, gruyere, walnuts and cranberries. I added grilled chicken since I was having it as my main course. It was really tasteless, bland, blah, very disappointing. I love to cook and eat and all of those flavors should have paired wonderfully together, I couldnt taste any of the distinct ingredients. I wouldnt waste your time or money. Everyone else at the table got tacos because they were known to be good and everyone liked them but Im not going to get dressed up and pay $10 for a drink to eat tacos...

Not worth the hype. Arrived for a 7pm reservation and the service was horrible. Not sure if the server was new or what but I had to order a beer 4 times to 3 different people and didnt get it till about 45 minutes into our visit. The server never came back to get the rest of the girls drink orders (thank God there was water on the table!) and finally came to ask if we were ready to order dinner about 40 minutes after we had arrived. One of our guests asked for a house wine and ended up getting a $17 glass of wine! After speaking with the manager (picture Jamie from Myth Busters) I am convinced that the company is not run by professionals as he acted like a teenager with a bad attitude. Food was OK but nothing to write home about.

This restaurant seemed to be everything I would like. Nice industrial/farmhouse decor, commitment to organic and locally sourced meats, does not use styrofoam, vegetarian/gluten free options. I ordered the Chorizo Tacos, but did not note the v next to it. Its actually a vegetarian chorizo which unfortunately does not live up to its namesake. Because of the dryness of a meat substitute, the taco should have been plated with a salsa of some sort on top. I ran out of the little bowl that came with it almost immediately. I also would have preferred fewer tacos and a small salad or something. It was a bit overpriced for just tacos. It also took quite a long time. May return to try something else.

This is probably the only time I will ever give a restaurant 5 out of 5 stars. Everything about this place is great from the decor to the service and most importantly, the food. Ive been to Prasino 4 or 5 times now and they have been consistently good every time. Even when the place is packed, the service is excellent and the food is delicious. They are very vegan, vegetarian and gluten free friendly as well and have all of the items clearly marked on their menu. Great selection of wines and beers, the appetizers are delicious and so are the desserts. Really cant say enough good things about this place.

Hmm I never write reviews... Never! However today is different. The menu was lacking the prices were way to high for the quality. My husband ordered a burger... I ordered portabella mushroom sandwich... Both were lacking flavor... Then for our side we went with potatoes with some cheese sauce... Our waitress recommend them said they were her favorite.... Over boiled potatoes with mayo and Parmesan cheese and chives.... So nasty... We will never return we will never recommend we will sit next door or across the street and eat at PF Changs or Bar Loui... Spend less money and actually leave full...

Ive probably been there 40-50 times so this review is WELL overdue lol. 90% of the time, I chosen the Prasino burger with truffle potatoes and literally EVERY SINGLE TIME its been absolutely amazing! By far the best burger Ive EVER had. The other entrée options Ive had (Prasino Cakes, Barbeque Pork steak with Apple slaw, Short Rib nachos, Spicy Crispy Shrimp) have also been equally amazing! I dont think theres anything on the menu that WOULDNT be delicious lol! Its also the perfect place to take guests or family from out of town because of the relaxed atmosphere and comfortable ambiance.

Weve been there 3 times, and have loved the food every time. The service was excellent with the exception of one evening. The Server was good after he realized that we were at one of his tables and the Manager apologized several times (Its a new place, kinks in the operation are to be expected). Highly recommend the Sushi, Half-Breasted Chicken, Burgers during Happy Hour and the Pork Steak. Looking forward to going there more often---a lot closer and better than any place in the CWE. Plus no parking problems.

A perfect date night or group outing. The menu is eclectic, but not over the top from an international take on sushi, tacos, and even main dishes like pork steak with a homemade jalapeno biscuit. I am a huge fan of their filet minion, which has always been cooked to perfection and the truffle "fries", which are actually potato wedges are to die for. The extensive wine list and cocktails are also fabulous. The food, service and atmosphere cant be beat at this contemporary restaurant!
