This place has terrible customer service. At work, we try to order as an office to get multiple orders at once...we wont be ordering from here anymore. The food is adequate but it comes with a NASTY SIDE OF ATTITUDE. Several times they have refused to take orders, lectured us about calling them and purposely hung up on us...the people trying to give them money. These actions have occurred on multiple occasions with different people. I tried to reach out to management to try and identify the problem. Their complaints with us are that 1) Our employees often call during peak hours (5PM-7PM) a.k.a. ‘‘dinner’ time, 2) drivers complain our location is too far for convenience (we are 8 min away and they stated themselves it is a 20 min round trip), 3) they have to wait for the employees to come to lobby (the last time I checked...thats how delivery works...you call, they come, you pay and they return to their work...and everyone parts as friends and hope to meet again soon). I suggested that they could call when close to cut down on wait time, but apparently they were having none of that.... After discussing these issues, I was told (not very politely) that they just rather not have our business. If you want to eat here, you just have to do it at their convenience and not during the traditional evening dining times. China Star Management rather alienate an entire office and organization than do some top-notch customer service and deal with some inconvenience

Ive tried 1,2,3,4, I think at least 5 or 6 different Chinese restaurants in the area, I wont name names, and I just went here today for the lunch special. First of all, you walk in there and the place is immaculately clean and well-furnished, with fish tanks, a flat-screen t.v. colorful, matching decor....tastefully done,,,as tasteful as the food.. I ordered the General Tsos chicken with Crab Rangoon.. I opened the bag at home, and the food was fresh and hot, ready to eat. I wasnt sure at first about the portion of the chicken dish, but then I realized that my eyes were bigger than my stomach. My eyes were big because the General Tsos dish had a juicy glazed appearance, and thats important to me with this dish,,,I dont like it dry,,,I like it at least somewhat spicy and saucy, and it met my demands, more than met my demands. The Crab Rangoon is fantastic, but Ive always liked it in other Chinese restaurants as well. Give this restaurant a shot. I think youll like it. Its over by Little Caesars and Dollar General at Harvester Square. If I dont take my mom out for a steak dinner on her birthday this month, Im taking her here for lunch. Thats how much I love my Mom.

Well, we need to find a new Chinese place. Picked up my food. Got home, sat down to eat and a piece of metal was in my food!!! I called them and they were very nice. Said theyd give my money back. But as soon as i got there their tune changed and were very rude! They asked to see it so I threw it in the rice and took the rice up with me. They said oh it was in the rice? I told them I didnt know if it came out of the rice or the chicken. I just threw it in the rice container since it was easy to carry. She said well rice is $1. I can give you a $1. I said No! I drove here twice. Brought my kids with me out in this heat. Woke my daughter up to come back youre giving me more than a $1 for my inconvenience. So then two men come out from the back. Ask to see the metal. Then asked me 2 more times did it come out of the rice or the chicken. He said well I can give you $8 back. My food was $17!!!! I snatched the money out of his hand and stormed out. We order from here all the time but you better believe we wont ever again! China Star in Harvester

I dont even have words for this place. Incredible? Prodigious? Delectable? No, there are no words in the English language to describe the glory that is China Star. There are some good Chinese restaurants in the area, but none compare to this place. This place is God-Tier. This is the type of place that grandparents tell their children about with a whimsical twinkle in their eye. This is the type of restaurant that makes people fall in love. The first bite into your General Tsos, and your mind will open like when The Beatles went to India. Pure Nirvana in Beef & Broccoli. The Szechuan Chicken will make you cry tears of joy, and wonder if youve hit the apex of your culinary life. Spoiler alert: you have.

Tried this place out for the first time and it was great! I think I have found my new go-to Chinese restaurant. The food (Sweet and Sour Chicken) was very good, better than the other places around, and the portions were very large at a good price. While I ordered carry out (which was ready very quickly)you could see the place was very nicely decorated with a modern, clean feel. The staff was very nice as well. I would recommend giving this place a try!

Tried to order pork pan fried noodles, got fried dumplings. I called back and requested that they give me what I actually ordered, and they DID try to fix it, but their pan fried noodles are just a rock-hard brick of ramen noodles on top of a small portion of meat and vegetables. Im extremely disappointed, as most of their food is decent, but this was a horrible experience from beginning to end and I wont be back.

The ONLY place in St Peters/St Charles area that I will go to for Chinese food. Prices are great, the food is perfect, and the staff is awesome. Weve tried most other places in and around the area, and no one compares! *ill add that I found out tonight that they have a sister location close to us, we are very excited!*

Will not order from again! We ordered two dinners when we received it we had two lunches (half the food but were still charged for the dinners) and they werent even even what we ordered. We called and were told wed get a credit for next time, however, next time they refused to give us the credit. Wont order there again!

The food is fine here and the restaurant does look very nice after the remodel. Check out the General Tsos Chicken. The people that work there are very gracious and seem to do their best at getting past the language barrier. Check this one out and disregard any broad brush reviews. Every eatery has their bad days.

Very clean place, friendly wait staff. "The staff were very accommodating and helped us choose the perfect dish. There werent many people dining in as its mostly carry-out, but the staff were nice, it was worth it. The food was fresh and hot." If you like Chinese food, this place is highly recommended.

By far my favorite Chinese food restaurant in St Charles. No other place Ive tried comes even close. I personally love their Chicken & Garlic Sauce, my wife loves their lo-mein, and my kids love the sweet & sour chicken and the chicken & broccoli. We order from here about once per week!

ABSOLUTELY delicious Chinese food!! New to the area and so exicted to fin a good place to grab takeout. We have tried General Tsos chicken, shrimp in garlic sauce, hunan chicken, and hunan shrimp. All tasted great!! Always hot and fresh and no weird meat like some places serve.
