Why isnt this place listed on Trip Advisor? I know its fairly new. Still, I was surprised I couldnt find them. I recently read about Morning Day in Feast Magazine and became eager to try it out. We went on a Sunday morning around 11 am and it was basically empty, which is nice that we didnt have to wait, but I became concerned about them keeping sustainable business. I know people in Liberty wanted a place like this. I ordered the breakfast burrito. It was bland and the side of guacamole was brown and unappealing. Which is too bad because I was excited about a vegetarian breakfast option. On the bright side, I really enjoy breakfast places that have bottomless coffee. The coffee was exceptional. The tip of our meal went to charity, 100% of it. The server told us that the charities vary each time. A very good sign for the type of business that Morning Day Cafe is! I recently

When you walk in and ask for a table for two expect the host to be clueless then tell you its a short 45 minute wait. You ask her about specials and you get the smiling deer in head lights look. Just take the menu and look it over so you know what you want because it takes forever and the place is small and gets packed easily. Food is awesome but drinks are like 8-10 bucks and so small. My waitress dropped the garlic chips all over my husband so we got an extra plate of chips. That was nice. Chips are homemade. My salmon cream cheese croissant was out of this world. I ate the crispy part of the egg because I dont like eggs over easy and it was great. My husbands potato sausage gravy skillet was perfect but his drink was lacking. Mine was good except for the coffee beans sprinkled on as decoration. I tried one and gross.

Stopped into Morning Day Cafe on a Sunday after our first choice was closed. I cant believe we havent gone before. They have a unique menu to choose from; our breakfast was delicious and well prepared. Every staff member either greeted us or smiled and let us know they knew we were there. The price very reasonable for what we ordered. The atmosphere was cool too. Even with full house, we didnt wait long to be served. Was it the fastest meal? No... but its not a fast food joint either. Its nice to slow down and enjoy an extra cup of coffee. Liberty Square is slowly coming back into fashion with quality family businesses like this. Were definitely coming back!

Ive been to more coffee houses than I can count, in more than a dozen states. Ive never found one to come even close to this one. The coffee is great. The food was better than Ive had at any $50 a plate type places and cost was low enough to bring the family . They even cater to vegetarians. And just to top it all they have Irish coffee. This is my new favorite place. As for those who were in a rush...slow down and enjoy life, the best things are worth waiting for, it took longer to decide what to eat than for my breakfast to arrive hot and expertly cooked. Id recommend this to anyone who loves coffee, great atmosphere, and gorgeous, gourmet food.

This place is a jewel - great food and good coffee (I always order myself a french press - their drip coffee isnt quite strong enough for me), attentive service. Theyre extremely accommodating of special dietary needs, as well - great place for a breakfast or lunch date with that gluten or dairy-free friend of yours. The atmosphere is quirky and comfortable - Ive spent many hours here chatting with family and friends. Theyve got a shelf of books and a suitcase of small toys to occupy my little ones, too!

Coming up from Kansas City to visit family, this is the last kind of restaurant I expected to see in Liberty Missouri. Im very glad we stumbled upon this restaurant by recomendation, the food was great. All the items that we enjoyed, The Boxer and The Juan were very fresh and light yet extremely filling and satisfying. The service was very friendly and personable. I do hope that Liberty residents appreciate this cafe. Wish they were in my neighborhood.

The decorations are charming and the food was delicious. This is definitely the type of place Liberty needs and I was thankful to have spent a rainy mothers day afternoon at Morning Day with my family. Over the years there has been a high turnover rate for restaurants at this location specifically, so I hope that this cafe is here to stay. I am excited to visit again and try yet another great food item. P.S. I definitely recommend their giant muffins!

Every time Ive been to Morning Day, with and without my son, its been such a great experience. They have toys for the kids, Wi-Fi, and amazing breakfast and lunch choices. Theyve recently finished a few minor renovations that really make the place pop. My mom friend and I can go there, eat adult food, and enjoy the atmosphere while the kids stay occupied. Its become my favorite kid-friendly restaurant in Liberty for non fast-food!

Liked the food even though I asked for chicken on my burrito but did not receive it. Waited at least 30 minutes for food. After he dropped the check we placed our card and cash rapidly into the little black folder, he then proceeded to walk by multiple times without acknowledgment. 15 minutes later he finally picked it up. One hour and ten minutes later we could finally leave. Would not recommend this to anyone in a hurry.

We just got done with our first visit to this very eclectic restaurant and we loved it! I said first because there will be many more. We also have some vegan friends that we will bring here and I am sure they will like it too. All natural, locally grown foods and some are prepared very differently and very tasty. I hope you will enjoy it also.

Awesome environment. Really relaxed but high quality food and drinks. Had a mimosa to start brunch with the peanut butter chocolate pancakes. So good!!!!!!! Very chocolaty. Also had the B&G it was so delicious. Added the smothered potatoes and they made the meal. Followed up with a Caramel Latte that was so pretty and perfectly sweet.

2 hours for breakfast. There are only about 10 tables in this place, it took an hour before we were seated another 15 minutes before a server came over. The food was good but over priced. I got the biscuts and gravy it was 9.50 for one biscuit and a sausage patty. The biscuit was heavily herbed. The gravy was a little bland but good.

I come to town once a year for a week long yoga retreat. I always have to sneak out for a cup of coffee during the day. Stumbled on the Morning Day Cafe this morning and Im sooo glad I did. Great coffee, wonderful music, awesome ambiance, very friendly staff, patio out back. Tips go to charity. What else does it have to do?!?

Worst breakfast I have purchased. Sausage was some sort of sliced mystery meat that in no way tasted like sausage. Eggs ordered over easy soft, got hard and burned to a crisp. Biscuit and gravy cant describe. Coffee was some of the best I have had. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. Would not go back or recommend to friends.
