Just got back from my first experience at this place. Wait in the drive thru was about 20 min long but I was ok with it because to tell you the truth I want my chinese cooked right and fresh...ordered general tsos chicken with shrimp fried rice, i just moved here from the south county area and this is without a doubt the best general tsos Ive ever eaten. the shrimp fried rice was very good and the shrimp was the size of my thumb. i didnt care for the egg roll but im a bit picky when it comes to them. the crab rangoon was good and the portion size was huge for the price. ive got a days worth of leftovers.....highly recommend this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing! We went today for the first time, after selecting a new Chinese place for the first time since our last choice had grown tasteless and old. We couldnt have been happier with our choice! The fried rice was amazing, the crab rangoon was delicious, and the beef and broccoli was to die for. All of which I consider cornerstones for good Chinese restaurants! I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone with any interest in good, low-cost Chinese. Dont let the aesthetics of this old location fool you, the service and food are absolutely worth it and the drive-thru is an excellent option for anyone on the run!

I called 20 mins ahead of time to order my lunch on my way to work. She told me ten mins. Half order of special fried rice and some wings. I go thru drive thru to pick up and they start meking it while im there. Another 20 mins waiting and the food was not good at all. Ended being late for work. And still needed something for lunch. Everyone i know says their food quality qnd customer service has went way down. Whenever i explaned to her that i called in and my food should be ready..she didnt even acknowledge that i was talking to her. Have not been back since a d that was over a year ago.

My experience was horrible I ordered food from the restaurant and my total was 26.00 dollars wen I sign my ticket for a pickup order I paid for my food with a debit card the next day I check my balance and transactions they charged me a extra 9 dollars so my payment from the restaurant said 35.00 instead of 26.00 I called they yelled at me I guess cause they were busy and claim theyre was nothing they could do today ! I wont be back

This Chinese Restaurant is an amazing value for the price. I order their meals and they contain a large helping of the main entree, a crab rangoon, a wonton, and enough fried rice for two adults. In fact we normally, order a couple of these meals and then treat them like a family serve dinner. The quality and taste is always amazing and the service is always friendly and quick. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I am extremely picky about chinese food, and have had many places to no avail, but this little drive through, dumpy looking place in Hazelwood is absolutely AMAZING they use thick rich sauces, fresh meat, crispy white meat chicken....and if you come in at the right time you can actually watch them make the crab rangoon by hand.

Over priced for the low quality food that it is. This is the worst smelling Chinese Restaurant that I have ever stepped foot in, but once you get over the smell of sewage the food will only leave you disappointed. Peace Chinese Restaurant is much better.

Better than average hood rice house. Been to a lot nastier places, Asian dining. Hell a lot of hood spots arent the cleanest but Id have to say this is above average. Good is the best Chinese Ive had anywhere hands down. I go every week.

Love this place. We drive over 20 minutes to get food from here. We lived in the neighborhood for many years. Since moving away 5 years ago we still havent found a restaurant that could top Sun Restaurant.

Love the food. My husband and I eat Chinese a lot. We moved to Salem mo. He loves the St. Paul sandwich. We cannot get them anywhere but there; so when make a trip to stl we have to stop.

Ive been coming to Sun since the mid-80s, usually getting the Kung Pao Chicken and an Egg Roll, both of which are easily the best in the St. Louis area. Excellent Sesame Chicken too.

Every time I drove past the parking lot and drive through was packed. So I gave them a chance. Omg wonder food. And you get a lot for your money.
