My family has been buying Sollys Hot Tamales since I was little, and even before then. Whenever we would come down to visit relatives at least twice a year since the late 1960s/early 70s. We always had to stop by this little old mans push-cart that he would set up next to one of the highways. Both, while we were here, as well as on our way out of town so we could be sure to have enough for a special occasion back home. I havent been back to Vicksburg since the mid 1980s. But now Im finally back to visit family here, and I am so happy to hear that Sollys is still around and now has a brick and mortar location! I will definitely be stopping by to pick up a couple of dozen Screamin Hot Tamales for my freezer back home!

Gross! Not even remotely related to Henry Sollys or his family. I wish they would quit riding on the coattails of his legacy. The last time we had tamales from here, the recipe was completely different. Henry didnt offer his business to these scammers, it was taken from his family by shady means. Dont listen to any of the lies that come out of their mouth. The real Sollys family is on the Frontage Rd.

A little hidden place that makes you feel right at home, very friendly and goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome, our family stop and ate here , excellent food for your money , right outside the military museum dont forget to stop by before heading back

Received overnight to Nashville. 4 dozen were consumed during a Kentucky derby party .....wonderful experience!! Not sure if the heartburn is from the loss of money or the tamales
