This place deserves zero stars after the way they treat their regulars. My husband and I go to Ichiban once a week for the last year and a half. We also treat our 4 employees to lunch on Fridays at this establishment. We are known by all the staff there. A few weeks ago my husband was there for a business meeting. He filled out the menu card and his sushi arrived. One of the rolls wasnt one that he ordered. He told the waitress this and she said, sorry, but I am going to have to charge you for the roll since your not going to eat it. He said again I didnt order that roll, check my menu card that I filled out. The waitress said that she had already thrown away the card and that she has no choice ,but to charge him for the roll. He pointed out that he gets the same three rolls every week for the last year and a half and does not eat fried rolls like the one she brought. He asked to speak to the manager. The pregnant manager came over and said whats the problem. He again explained that he didnt order that roll and that he would be more than happy to eat a substituted roll since he doesnt eat fried things due to him being diabetic II. She told him that she couldt because of policy and that he would be charged for the roll and for him to next time read the menu descriptions before ordering. He said check the card that he filled out that was thrown away by the waitress. She said no, we arent going to do that. Then she proceeded to insult him more by saying, sir if you are diabetic maybe the next time you shouldnt order a fried roll. He got up put money on the table and told her that she had lost him as a customer, she shrugged and walked back up the hostess desk. They lost us regulars, our employees, clients, and friends and family not because of the food, but because of the poor management.

CONSUMERS BEWARE. I have eaten here several times and have really enjoyed their all-you-can-eat sushi. Recently the menu changed and didnt offer any substitute for the only rolls I liked. I asked the waiter about it, and he seemed disinterested in offering suggestions. So I selected a different roll and ending up not being able to finish even one piece. While the menu denotes what items are raw and which are cooked, my roll was raw and not specified on the menu. I asked if there was a possibility that I could just get something else. His response was no. I could not get anything else until I finished that order. Now I understand making profits and their anti-waste policy, but I certainly wasnt going to finish the roll when it was raw and making me nauseous. In conclusion, I spoke with the lady at the desk and her answer was the same. I cant fathom a business offering no substitute for a frequent customer that was dissatisfied. All in all, I wont be returning to this establishment, and Id urge anyone considering eating here to just pay a little more and eat at an actual sushi restaurant. My meal went from an all-you-can-eat 12.95 to 22.84. Not finishing one order of a roll doubled my meal cost. Hope this review helps anyone debating eating here.

Awful experience. Came here with a party of 11. They brought us our drinks and then asked for our orders. Then our soup and salads came and we had no napkins. They got these orders wrong. Next the sushi came. Just want to inform you the all-you-can-eat sushi is overpriced and not good. Also if you do not eat all of the sushi you order, they charge you full price. Next came the hibachi dishes, also incorrect. After we were served we did not receive anymore service for 20 mins. Nothing. The servers were nowhere to be found. Then another 20 mins before we get our checks, which were wrong. Ha. Of course a party means gratuity already added in. Thank goodness or they would have gotten nothing. We asked for to go boxes but waited another 15 minutes before we decided to get our own from behind the counter. Then we find out the checks have been sitting on the front desk waiting for us!!! We had been waiting 20 mins for them to bring them back! Are you kidding!?

Place seemed nice enough with decent reviews. The wife and I sat down and proceeded to order a beer from the menu only to be told they didnt serve alcohol. Apparently after having to inquire why alcohol was on the menu the server informed me they hadnt received their new liquor license since owners had changed six months ago. After ordering some sushi and a "garden" salad, which only consisted of iceberg lettuce and some sauce, we saw others drinking beer. We asked the server and he said it was "Byob" and while they have no liquor license allowed apparently you can bring your own six pack in. I have mixed feelings, kinda cool but kinda trashy. Sushi was ok but not cheap, have had much better quality for half the price. Probably better places in the area to spend your money.

Nice decor and our server Raymond was great! I can only speak on the all-you-can-eat lunch part of the menu. The sushi was overloaded with rice therefore I could only finish one roll. My roll and my dayghters rolls, were just ok.The spring roll had too much pepper but did have a great sauce to go along with it. Ive had people at work raving about this place and i finally gave ut a try, but Im just not impressed. It could be because unlike most locals here, Ive traveled all over the world and have been exposed to great food. I dont think its worth me going back.:(

This place is my go to place for sushi! I love the all you can eat menu. Italian dancing is by far the best! Yes they do charge you for any sushi you dont eat. But its so many cents per piece or full price of its more than 6 pieces. But come on. You are getting $13 rolls for a falt rate of 12.95 for lunch. It seems fair to me other wise people would order ungodly amounts and just waste than they have to raise prices to accomidate the food waste.

This is a GREAT sushi restaurant. I travel all over the world and become very disgrundled because I cant find good Sushi at home. To the SeaMonkeys, I am a two hour dinner guest at every restaurant that is worthy. Every visit to Ichiban has bee at least that time frame. So I am not sure what your issue is but I do not agree!!! Thanks Ichiban for providing good food and good service. You all you can eat special is Fabulous!

Have loved this place for years up until today. No longer accept military discounts (for dependents, only active duty) AND didnt want to combine punch cards that has ALL 1O punches for 1 free all you can eat, because the "boss" didnt want to? Not a good policy to enforce when youre a loyal customer that has spent money with the punches to prove. Will take business to Sakis who takes military discounts...

Please check your reciept at Ichiban in Ocean Springs, MS we had a party of 11 and we knew the gratuity would be added in but they taxed the gratuity as well. Ummmm no you not getting over on me for some extra dollars it wasnt much on each ticket but it was our dollars and if this is done to every customer you made thousands of extra dollars in a year! Sorry buddy not off the Hughes Clan!!
