When the sun shines in Lake Geneva in mid-April those of us whove survived the long, dark winter are so ready to explore. And the delight of my day was stumbling upon Barique. I have in front of me the perfect lunch and a terrific view of Geneva Lake. I like my lunches light and was not disappointed with the Charcuterie Board with a sampling of superb meats, cheeses and accomaniments. An excellent craft beer made it even better. But you could choose an excellent wine if youre so inclined. Service couldnt have been better. Friendly and knowledgeable. Outside seating makes this a perfect summer stop. Plan to park and stroll. Lake Genevas downtown lakefront is not the place to hurry and stress.

Ideal location with view of the lake and outside seating thats great for people with dogs (theyll bring you a bowl for your dog). We were told it would be a 35 minute wait, but ended up waiting for over an hour (we wished theyd give more realistic wait times). For us, it was worth waiting to avoid eating another fried, unhealthy meal and everything tasted pretty fresh. We liked both the meatlovers and the chicken and feta flatbreads. Service wasnt stellar, but not awful. We could tell they wanted to close right at 10pm. Id recommend that they get rid of the two benches outside and put two 2-person tables in those spaces to maximize space. Everyone wants to eat outside in good weather.

The Barrique Wine & Brew Bar is the perfect place to go for a quiet afternoon with a loved one or for a girls afternoon to catch up over a 5-glass wine flight. Its in an old but very charming home that offers a very intimate space. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful in choosing a wine that suits you best. The menu is pretty extensive so theres something for everyone. They also offer a small menu of flatbreads, cheese platters and other delicious small plates. If you enjoy spicy, I recommend the 3 Siren Monterey Jack. The 5-glass wine flight is an unbelievable deal. You get so much wine for your money. Delicious wine. Amazing value. Highly recommend!

Very good. Came during Winterfest so it was extremely busy, but that did not effect our overall experience. Ordered a bottle of wine, the baked brie and a charcuterie board with four meats. The meat and baked brie were delicious. For dessert we ordered the chocolate trio which we were surprised to find looked like chocolate sausage. The chocolates were only OK, next time we will go somewhere else for dessert.

Great little spot with great views and great food! Staff was very attentive, came to ask how we were doing several times. We came around 2pm so it was super quiet and not busy for a tuesday summer. One of tbose places that you can simply hang out enjoy nice wine or brew....do some people watching and enjoy the lake breeze on the patio.

My sister hosted my bridal shower here and it was perfect! The staff was so wonderful to work with, friendly, accommodating and fun during my shower. Fantastic service, great food and even better drinks! My guests absolutely loved it and we cant wait to go back for another get together! Thanks so much, Barrique!! HIGHLY recommended!

Worst service ever. We sat for an hour waiting for food and the waitress only spoke to us once to serve the bill. In our 1.5 hour span here, three different parties were seated, but never greeted by waitresses and ultimately left after waiting to be acknowledged...we should have done the same. . Save your money and go elsewhere.

Pro: Outdoor seating was nice with a large wine selection. Flight options available. Con: The cheese plate left much to be desired with sub par cheese and very little actual bread to put it on. The hostess was less than friendly, and the waitress, although nice, really didnt help explain the wine varieties.

We were trying to order some food but our server never returned to our table. We had to ask the boy cleaning the tables to get our check. The server was extremely rude when we settled our bill. We will never go here again. Lots better places in town.

Great food, fantastic location on the lake. The food pairings were spot on and the wines samples were a perfect complement. The outdoor atmosphere couldnt be better. Pet friendly too. We had the most enjoyable and relaxing evening.

Really nice location on the lake in a beautiful building. Good selection, but closes very early for a bar. Would have loved to sit on the patio and look out over the lake after dinner but closed shortly after that.

Nice wine bar with lake view. Good rose wine with salami and cheese. Flatbreads are good.Remind me Cannes or Nice in France. I enjoyed my Stella Artois beer and hospitality of City of Geneva.

Very nice. Great food, and wine. Not fancy, or huge portions, but very, very good. Just right. How much $$$$? If you have to ask, go to McDonalds. .. Well worth every penny.

I came here when they first opened and loved this place ... the last two times I have been there ,I was disappointed. Love the wine but the food isnt worth the money

Great beer and wine selection especially for local brews. The Charcuterie boards offer plenty of variety for meat and cheeses. Perfect place for a small meal.
