Ive never had a problem with this market in till recently. A man, new to me as Ive always seen the same people was spitting next to the fish. A woman new as well was fairly rude to my husband. Im sadden to have to write 5his review but it something that needs to brought to the attention,of the owners. As upon leaving to return home with our treasure of fish the woman so abruptly asked do,you have a ice chest? My husband said no we dont sorry forgot it at home. Responding to him she said alright Ill sell you one in a tone that rang to my ear as a rude sarcasm. I will be returning as you have the freshest fish, and tastiest. But put these new employees in check...

We came in and ordered the fried soft shell crab. They served it in a small basket with a little container of sauce. It only had one claw and was the size of the top of a soda can. This soft shell crab was not even a full bite. $7.00 for nothing. I was so insulted I gave it back to them because it was too small to eat and figured they MUST need it more than me. I could understand the size of the crab being served if I was in Oklahoma or somewhere far from the water. These people are a fish market a few blocks from the gulf. This is terrible and they should be ashamed for serving this poor quality of food! Lost my business!!!

Great place and seafood. I just want to educate people on Gulf Seafood, I was reading the review were a lady was appalled that her Royal Reds were from Argentina, well lady the Gulf has been over-fished and its people like you who will keep asking for Gulf Seafood when the ocean there is trying to recuperate itself and cleanse its ocean. So if you want to eat seafood that is beneficial to you and you want to help the Gulf then it seafood from elsewhere. Desportes you guys do an amazing job at sourcing seafood that is beneficial and Sustainable, keep looking out for your customers needs with good quality seafood.

Never had a bad experience everything Ive gotten seemed to be caught that day! I went to a few other places before this one and hands down they have the best prices on the coast! Not to mention the service there is outstanding they truly make you feel like family. Hopefully youll get Frank the manager hes unbelievably knowledgeable with all the seafood and what a great story teller!!!

The people taking orders are very friendly. The food lack flavor. The poboy was not as big as I expected for the price. The shrimp was not hot enough and the vegetables were too cold. Bad combination. Oh yeah the first thing that hit you is the overwhelming seafood smell when you walk in. Some people were amazed with the food. I didnt have a good dining experience.

Stopped to get royal reds fresh from the gulf asked if they were lady said they were frozen but from the gulf. Got back to TN to find out they were from Argentina what a joke. Will never buy anything there again. Lied about product even after I asked about being from the gulf!

We had lunch, shrimp and sausage jambalaya, which was the daily special. The food was great, and they treated you like beloved cousins. I would recommend Desporte for lunch, as the deli is only open for lunch :-). When you are in Biloxi, MS, this is a great lunch place.

Just what I was looking for. I had the fish basket and potato salad. Friendly staff, delicious fresh fish and the loaded potato style potato salad was top notch. Great place for a quick bite or fresh seafood to cook at home.

Been here twice and both times I ordered the same thing: soft shell crab po boy. The first visit, the crab was meaty and delicious; second visit, there was barely any crab on my sandwich. Im guessing its hit or miss.
