The manger of this restaurant is very rude and unprofessional. A friend and I went to the restaurant for the first time based upon recommendations. After our dinner, we decided to try out the desserts. I ordered the chocolate salted caramel cake and she tried the carrot cake based upon the waiters recommendation. Well, after my friend took a small taste of the carrot cake she decided that she did not like the texture of the cake. The carrot cake texture was dense with lots of carrots, nuts, and other stuff. There was more stuff and less cake. Well when she tried to send it back for something different, the owner came to our table and flipped out on her for wanting to exchange the cake for something different. He would not allow her to exchange the cake and tried to force her to take the cake home after being told repeatedly that she did not like the cake. He made a huge scene by loudly responding in a rude way that no one has ever returned his cake back and that he was not going to allow the cake to be returned. At this time, our only goal was to get the heck out of that restaurant. Oh yes, he came back before we could get out the door with more rudeness and insisting that the cake go home with her. The cake was left behind, she paid for it, and got the hell out of there. The moral of this story is to never send food back at this restaurant. It was the first and last we will ever eat there again.

If you love a dose of snobbishness with your food, this is the place for you. My husband and I wanted to eat very early, before 4. We walked into an almost empty restaurant, where we were told they couldnt seat us in the back in the good seats because they were expecting people at 6:30. We assured them we could eat a meal in less than 2 1/2 hours and they went into a tizzy, throwing menus around, feeling very put out about accommodating us. I ordered a lamb burger and my husband a hamburger, which took 30 minutes to prepare. Waitress did not ask how we wanted them cooked and offered no salad dressing choices. After we received our food, she did not come back to inquire how things were, did not bring my husband his requested ketchup, and he found a bug in his salad. I pointed this out to the manager. He apologized and said these things happen. He did offer to replace the salad. My lamb burger was tasty, but overcooked and dried out, as they have to cook it to medium well, the only place I have eaten lamb that ever said that. To their credit they offered a free dessert in exchange for the bug. Food was OK, but not good enough to warrant going back not for us anyway.

We had been to this restaurant on multiple occasions and never left unsatisfied. The food and service was incredible. I liked it so much I proposed to my fiancee there. So, we decided to go back on Valentines Day of 2012. We knew they would be very busy, so we made reservations and came early. No problem until we ordered our food and drinks. We got our wine and waited for our food. We waited more than an hour. Tables that were sitting next to us had been served multiple times. After an hour of waiting we had had enough and asked for our check. The owner came and asked us to "come back on a not so special night and that they would make it extra special". I could not believe what I was hearing! On top of that we had to pay for our bottle of wine! We had finished a bottle of wine b4 we ever got any food. Unfortunately I would never go back, nor would I recommend any family or friends after my experience on Valentines Day.

We were really looking forward to this place and really tried to like it. However, the quality of the food (especially at the prices that they are charging) was something that we could just not overlook. My entree was inedible. I had ordered the root vetable fettichini and the noodles were doused in a sauce that literally had the consistancy of and tasted like oily water, which created a very soggy bowl of noodles. Not to mention that half the vegtables in the dish were completely mush from being overcooked, while the brussel sprouts were still raw. My husbands meal was a bit better. His burger was cooked very well, but was smothered to the point of being overtaken by gorganzola cheese. Overall, the wine was good (although still over priced), but it was probably one of the worst meals that we have eaten out in a while (and we eat out a lot).

We caught a groupon here and decided to give it a try. I see were some of the negative reviewers are coming from. They are not going to wow you away with service. Really more of a order and enjoy type place not you typical timed check in routine. We ordered a few mixed drinks no complaints there. I had the Gorgonzola Burger with Bacon Aioli and my lady had the Gorgonzola Steak Salad. The salad was good, but the burger deserved state wide if not national recognition. The flavors all peaked at different moments on the pallet, yet were all smoothly intertwined and none unexpected, it was drenched in bacon aioli, and topped with caramelized onions. Ordered the Tres Leche for desert. It was a rendering and not traditional, overall flavor was good, but it was to dry and that threw the texture off. I will repeat!!

Went there because of the Wine Bar. They have a good selection and most of the wait staff know enough to help pick something out. The Bread basket is ok at times, but the garlic butter totally makes up when the bread is not at its best, BUT when the bread basket is on its game and combined with the garlic butter - YUMMY. The Cream of Chicken and Wild Rice soup is very flavorful. I wasnt used to having potatoes in my soup, but it was a fun addition. Sometimes Ill just get the soup as my meal. The Ribeye and Pan Seared Chicken are the two entrees I get the most. The French Dip is also good. Im a picky eater, so that is saying a lot. If you want desert that tastes home cooked and not preboxed or frozen, try their deserts. The Chocolate Mousse Cake and a nice red wine is a great way to end the dinner.

I went to Cravings in Woodbury, MN on a Friday night at about 7. The place was packed and there were no seats available except two spots at the bar. The bartender was rude and there was hardly enough room to walk through the aisles to get to the bar-or any tables for that matter. We were all pretty much sitting on each other at the bar and it was very uncomfortable. I ordered a steak for $27 and it was 75% fat. I was very disappointed in it and let the server know I was unhappy. Their response was that they would "let the chef know." We were not comped at all or given a new piece of meat. The place doesnt even have steak sauce or salt and pepper!!!! I was very disappointed in the experience and will not be returning. Save your time and money and go someplace else!
