I went today to Bellacour with my friend. Since I have been to Spoon and Stable, I was excited to try this new one. The food didnt disappoint. Excellent food - we ordered Oysters, Shrimp cocktail, Confit De Canard, Boudin Blanc and Pastry basket. Two can easily share the pastries. We tasted each others food and was delicious. Only complaint I would have is, the service felt bit rushed. But the service staffs were polite and nice. We stopped by the Bakery to pick some bread home. Very reasonable with prices. I would definitely go there. After I came home we tried the baguette. It reminds me of France. Amazing taste. It is nice to see that the chef tries to make his home town folks happy with his culinary skills.

Food is great! Service lacks hospitality training. We enjoyed our morning pastries and coffee yesterday; I have never been denied a reasonable request before in a restaurant. I asked for a tray to carry five plates, three glasses and two bottles of water and was told no, trays arent available for that purpose. I then asked for a couple silverware roll ups; I was told to go get silverware from the espresso bar. Gavin, your managers need to address this, Wayzata folk like accommodating service. Also, if you want your tables reserved for Saturday brunch, you should redirect guests after 9:00am to another area. We felt rushed to finish and leave so that the reservations could be sat.

Walking into Bellecour was a Parisian experience of the kind that gives Paris a bad reputation for rudeness and contempt for its customers. Having called in to make a reservation late, I was fine with being told that my options were either a 9:30 spot or a walk-in wait list and that Friday night waits were 45 minutes to 1 hour. I opted for the walk-in option only to be told upon arrival that a wait list was not kept for the dining area at all. The two hosts providing this information were entirely unapologetic and unhelpful. Come to think of it, this kind of bad service is even hard to find today in Paris.

Walked into Bellecour with high expectations, and it did not disappoint! Atmosphere was lovely and the decor was incredibly chic. Our waiter was attentive and helpful, while not overbearing. But oh the meal... We started brunch with the pastry basket (delightful), split the Croque Madame (delicious and filling) and the Quiche Lorraine (perfection), and finished with the crepe cake (somehow even more decadent than it looks!) Perhaps I was just all around obsessed with the experience, but even the coffee tasted 10x better than youre average cup. Already itching to come back - after Im out of this food coma.

Went here for some morning pastries. Know that the space is very small so seating is sparce. They *could* use the bar area for more seats, but they choose not to. We ended up eating in our car. The pastries are well worth it: crepe cake is divine...so light and airy with raspberries on top (easy to remove if you dont like fruit). Chocolate croissant was perfect with two stipes of chocolate running through it. The coffee was mediocre...very bitter, almost burnt. Next time, Ill get the pastries, will grab a coffee elsewhere, and then will go sit by the lake down the street. :-)

Ok first let me tell you iPhones dont take great food pics.... but I will say this is an amazing place! The food is outstanding, the service was spot on and the remodel of Blue Point is spectacular. I had the Steak Tartare the flavors were amazing. I then went on to the Short Ribs, which are now at the top of my list for the best I have ever had. The wine selection was great. I will be back as often as I can get a reservation. By far one of the best in the Twin Cities if not anywhere. Je lève mon chapeau à vous. Garvin.

Fantastic food, craft cocktails, staff, wine, and surroundings! Very knowledgeable staff. Wine guy helped us navigate their wine list, which is mostly non-US wines (a nice change for me). My wife and I have been to this restaurant twice in the last week and have been WOWd by the food. Everything weve tried has been outstanding! We are VERY HAPPY to have this new, and very different, dining option join the other great restaurants in Wayzata!!

When we were there a dog came in with its owner and sniffed all of the bakery products that were out. How disgusting! Nothing like having a dog lick himself and then sniff/lick the bakery item that are for sale. We mentioned it to the cashier but she did not care and did not remove the bakery items. Can you please put food above dog nose level?? Gross!!

This place is an amazing French restaurant by Gavin Kaysen. It is not to be missed and you wont go wrong with anything you order whether is from the restaurant or the bakery (manned by Diane Yang). Some things you must try: Star Prairie Trout, Steak Frites, Escargots en Croute, Steak Tartare, Opera Cake and Paris-Brest. Go check it out for yourself!

Unbelievable experience. Truly world-class service. Is so nice to go to a restaurant and more than your server takes care of you. Everyone genuinely seemed to care that the food and experience were great. On top of that, the food was absolutely perfect. I cant wait to go back again

Coffee was excellent, chocolate almond croissant was flaky and flavorful. Only downside was the lady who ordered a prosecco at 8am, poured her glass back into the tiny bottle, tucked the bottle into the side mesh pocket of her backpack and left. I mean, you do you, Wayzata lady.

Gorgeous restaurant, unbelievable service, fantastic drink selection, and very reasonable prices. Make sure to save room for dessert, the pastry chef is nominated for a James Beard award. If youre a fan of Spoon and Stable downtown, Bellecour will feel right at home.

Beautiful spot in Wayzata! Warm and cozy. The savory danish was good. The orange coffee cake was outstanding! Couple of suggestions: as a breakfast spot it will be nice to have some fresh oranje juice. The savory danish would be even better if its served warm.

While I love Spoon and Stable, Bellecour just doesnt deliver on the experience of a top end restaurant. Some entrees were great, others just good. Still better off going to Linden Hills for a charmed dining experience (and I dont even live there).

Lovely French cafe with excellent pastries and decent coffee. I stopped to get pastries on Saturday morning and was not disappointed. The pain au chocolat was amazing! The space is beautiful, especially if you find a seat on patio.

Delicious, fresh food with exquisite service. Short Rib on the Bone was the best, other members of our party were not satisfied with the Steak Frites (flavor was bland). Pinned Frites with the garlic aioli were fantastic.

Incredible food in a perfectly relaxed and beautiful setting with great service. From the baguette to the pudding dessert, every dish was fantastic. The crab agnoletti is one of the best pasta dishes Ive ever tasted.

Charming French bistro and a bakery tucked in along Lake Street in Wayzata, MN and a stones throw from Lake Minnetonka. The food is exquisite. Its not just dinner, its a dining experience. #Bellecour

I came here around 11:30. It was pretty packed. I was still able to find what I wanted from the bakery and get out quick. Pretty good stuff in the bakery and the prices are not bad.
