Great food, great price, great service, but they dont clean their shrimp!!! If you dont clean the shrimp you get a black vein filled with poop.. Its easy to overlook and possible that they just dont know about that so I dont think it contributes to the quality of their restaurant overall but it was a little offputting. Also would love to see more veggie centered dishes without meat or butter.. lots of chinese food can be vegan friendly but some of their dishes have unnecessary butter or eggs in them. Not really a problem just a suggestion. Overall though I love the place and am a regular there.

Came in at about 8:30 (over an hour before close) and they were out of several different things and the majority of the food was barely warm. On the bright side, the service was very attentive and to their credit I could tell that the food was of good quality and fairly well prepared. The selection is pretty small but they have a few dishes that are rare at buffets. Perhaps if you are coming on a busier night or a bit earlier in the day I would come, but if its getting late and the place is dead, stay away!

The other Chinese places in Red Wing have nothing on China Royal. The food there is fresher, better prepared, and the restaurant is -far- cleaner than its competitors. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating, and will make custom dishes at your request. Top notch.

I was there earlier and made a fairly big order, and they manage to messed it up. I order the fried shrimp for an appetizers and when I got home I had cream cheese wonton instead. This is a very bad first experience and it will be the last time I go there.

Love this place! Good food and great customer satisfaction! The owners remember regulars and have given free wontons because she knows its our favorite. Super nice and always inviting and relaxing. Best Chinese in Red Wing!

Great food from the menu, and they will make things that dont necessarily appear in the printed menus (try the Generals Tofu!). Cant vouch for the buffet, but Im not a buffet guy.

Great buffet. Nice variety. Not a large selection. But, what they do have is quite good. The atmosphere is a bit stuffy for my taste. A little too crowed at times.

Beautiful Best mei fun (rice noodles) I have had in a while. Very clean and impeccable service. Food was average and selection small but all was hot and fresh.

Good buffet, very friendly service. About $12 after 4pm, $9 before 4 pm. (Including a soda). I recommend the coconut chicken (only lunch).
