Can I give 10 stars out of 5?! I wish there were more places like this!!! ONLY the BEST of things to say about this place!! DAKOTA JUNCTION is my absolute FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT IN THE MOUND AREA!!! Forget you, "Scotty Bs", and other restaurants of the likes of them...you blow in comparison to the quaint charm and deliciously wonderful quality of ingredients of EVERYTHING here at Dakota Junction.... I have been in Mound many times, many many times... and this place is my new favorite shinning GEM here, I ALWAYS make a stop or two when I am back in town.... Mostly with fellow Yelper Leslie P. at my side. Seriously everything they make is wonderful, check out my pictures, every.single.thing. we have gotten from there has been high quality, primo delicious amazingness!!! I wish I were there right now! They really take care in finding the best ingredients, and creating the best dishes... DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE IN MOUND FOR A MEAL, go HERE! Got a date? Take them here! Their quaint charm will blow the pants off your date ;) I wish I could enjoy one of their delicacies right now, in this moment, my mouth is watering at the memories of their amazingness.. Oh! and they get their produce locally from Gale Woods Farm! Check out my pictures for more information on that. I am a very visual Yelper, many pictures to depict my experiences, stroll through them, then get your butt down to Dakota Junction and get a bite to eat! Bring a few friends! Stop getting the crap from the other places... seriously, your stomach is NOT a wastebasket.... Fill your belly with the goodness from Dakota Junction, and give that food a good home!

Always great food here! Not your usual restaurant, they have lots of interesting menu choices. If unusual is not your cup of tea, then you can always have a burger. If ever there is something wrong with your meal, just let them know and theyll fix it. I have been here many times and have yet to be disappointed. The Thai Chicken Salad is my favorite meal so far, so much so that sometimes I cant try something different.

Visited this place today as was looking for something a little unique near Chaska. Is a small place but the staff was very friendly and the food was great. Had the taco special (pork belly) and pork banh mi. The bisque that came with the pork bank mi was spectacular. Food prep was prompt and quality from what we ciuld tell. We will be back.

I stopped here at random, I dont live in the area. Food was awesome, I got the Cuban with fries. Prices are the same as Applebees or any restaurant. Staff was happy and the kitchen and bathroom were clean. If Im in the area again Ill come back for sure. Everyone elses food looked great too, hot and made to order.

Found this place about 3 years ago, and it has been a must-go-to when we are in the area ever since then. Love their menu options- all on the healthier side. Our absolute favorite is their Made-Rite with rosemary parmesan fries. Workers are super nice, always greet you with a smile and the service is fast.

I love the forager grilled cheese, it is full of wild mushrooms, arugala and gruyère..yum. The location is extremely convenient and very friendly service. My only suggestion is to install some noise absorption on the walls because when the restaurant is full it is uncomfortably loud.

We have been here several times and everything has been amazingly good. Food is local, the menu is well crafted and the service is great. It can be easy does small town places to get complacent but you wont fine any of that here. Come and expect the best.

Mondays they have a $5 maid-rite sandwich, along with $5 pork tacos usually too. Great little spot where you can find some great value too. Different menu each day but if you "like" their page on Facebook they post what it is daily.

Hidden Pearl! I was in Mound on business today and saw this unique little restaurant and stopped in. Wow was I pleasantly surprised! The menu was fantastic as was the service. I had the Thai Chicken Salad and it was wonderful.

Amazing Food that is sourced locally and seasonally. Everything on the menu tastes amazing and is healthy. I could not recommend Dakota Junction more highly! It is worth the trip to get there.

I grew up in mound and whenever I come home from college to visit my parents who still live there, we all go to Dakota Junction. I highly suggest the Quinoa Mixed Greens. 5/5 stars
