We try pizza all over the metro. Finally got around to this one. We like thin crust, HATE the burnt crust, yet, soggy center trendy over-priced Neapolitan crap - BUT OTOH good is good no matter. The place is small. You walk right into the kitchen basically. Pretty clean looking. No seating except a few tables outside under the awning. Its oddly quite pleasant on a nice day, like a small front yard. Across the street is Broders, one of those "womans restaurants". Who seem to own EVERYTHING in the area (and have little signs pushing the "local small business" deal. Which is ironic considering what a goliath they ARE in the neighborhood - creative, but stale food and WAY over-priced.) The reason I bring Broders up is the parking, which CAN be atrocious depending on the day and time. You are stuck between retail and controlled residential. So plan ahead. And be CAREFUL crossing the street!!! The staff is a mix of the usual chick running the phones who doesnt care and the guys making the pizzas who (fortunately) do. At a busy time, youll find 3 guys making pizzas and two over at the ovens. The staff is friendly, but business orientated, theyre busy. The pizzas are very very good. Excellent old fashioned homemade thin crust. No "graham cracker" crumbling bottoms here! Guy spreads it in a machine and finishes it by hand, thats why you can get a 20 inch here. Toppings: You can actually SMELL that fresh pork odor from the sausage. WOW! Everything seems fresh and good quality. LOTS of cheese. Maybe not the MOST flavorful pizza in the world, but still pretty good. Garlic toast is very good but a little pricy. Old fashioned crosscut with burnt motz on top, MMMM. good. Great value too, look for the expired coupons online, yes, they still use them and youll get more stapled to the box. Price "may" seem high, but remember, you are getting a 16 or 20 inch NOT the usual 14 at a lot of other places. (smaller is available, of course) Pizza reheats well too. We drive from Maple Grove to get pizza here and drive it back, if you are fortunate enough to live in the neighborhood, we HATE you LOL! and what are you waiting for?

I called in an order for delivery on Friday 5/27/16 at 4:10 PM A woman took my order I ordered three pizzas and asked for them to be delivered at 6:30 PM later that night. After a no-show at 6:45 PM I called and spoke to a gentleman who said he had no record of my order and no order with my phone number attached to it. I only have one phone so looks like it was a completely botched order. Had a house full of people wanting pizza so not super interested in calling lake Harriet pizza again in the future.

Its okay. When I drove by it looked closed, but it wasnt, so I called for delivery from home. The kid on the phone was pure business, not friendly but not rude. The delivery guy was more gregarious. The pizza itself is cut into little squares, the Northwoods style that some people feel very, very strongly about. Be warned: the pizza comes in little squares. The crust was okay, the sauce was average, the cheese and mushrooms were fine. Its not high cuisine but its convenient.

Wow! Before you order your standard, favorite or usual combination, try out some of these pies. The tomato sauce does not come in a tube - it actually has tomatoes in it. The sausage comes in big chunks, not cat food size pieces. It isnt spicy, but has a kick to it like you expect with sausage. If you love real mozzarella then you will find plenty of warm gooey goodness at Lake Harriet. Delivery within the estimated time, pizza was hot. Yummy

Best pizza in Minneapolis by far! I only ever order cheese, and they have it down pat! It is a tiny little pizza shop with no seats inside, they do have some outdoor tables if you are in the mood to lounge. They always send out coupons for a $1 off in the mail, and I always forget to give it to the delivery guy because he never asks. Its the $1 off coupon that never ends! Delivery is always fast too.

Great spot for delivery and takeout. The pizza is your standard midwest-style: lots of cheese, heavy toppings, and a tangy homemade sauce that has tons of tomato flavor. I like the Rebel and the Fire-Roasted Supreme. Buffalo wings are meaty and crisp, if a little on the mild side. Its very reasonably priced for the area its in and delivery is quick and friendly.

Great local pizza joint. Thin crust is tasty. Good sauce. Lots of cheese. Note: green olives on their supreme if that is unexpected.

I feel like this is secretly the best pizza in Minneapolis. Nothing flashy, just really solid execution.
