Every time Ive been to Mesa Ive been in search of cheap but good pizza especially as a way to end the night on a good note, but each time I always end up regretting the mediocre pizza that could have been skipped if I even had a Red Baron frozen pizza back at home. The lines are never long during normal hours because no one wants to actually go get Mesa pizza when theyre sober but at 2:00 AM the store is jam packed as a last resort for hungry drunks. Save your money and skip this place, youre better off throwing Mac and cheese on your freschetta pizza and still saving a few bucks. Plus, the employees are rude as well as most of the patrons, since they are usually tourists visiting on the weekends.

The choices available were great and I almost couldnt decide what to get. The guy behind the counter was very helpful letting me know what each selection was. I ordered a slice of Pepperoni & Sausage and a slice of Canadian Bacon & Pineapple. Two nice big slices of pizza for $7. The pep/sausage was okay but they could use a better type of sausage with more flavor and spice. The cb/pnple slice was doughy and the pineapple bland and flavorless. For $7, not a bad deal; but Id pay a bit more if they got better ingredients. Ill try them again and see if I just hit them on a bad day.

The so-called "bouncer" at this pizza joint told a group of 5 paying customers that we "wouldnt be getting any pizza tonight" because we were trying to make the time pass by chatting while in line. What a joke. Great "customer service"! 0/10 would not recommend, because we didnt even get to try the pizza! By the way, there were literally 10 people inside, so not sure why they were making people line up outside. Lol. Would give 0 stars if I could solely because of the "bouncer" who couldnt get a real bouncer job at a bar.

Unless you want to be treated like a 16 year old - do not go here. They dont care about your order or about you. They think you are all drunk and stupid and think they can take advantage of you. Do not go here. It is a waste of time and money. You will leave there angry and disrespected. I never recommend this place. Do not go here, unless you want terrible service or to feel disrespected. Dont let Mesa pizza steal your money. Terrible service and customer service.

A little sign says "Be nice & Polite or you will be Denied Sale & Told to Leave....Thanks!" Yet the woman who sells the pizza is very rude for my first experience. I had no idea where the line started and she shouts "over here" and then when Im looking for a slice I was told to "cmon hurry up" I would never want to return if she still works here. P.s. if you are gonna out up a sign that says that, make sure your employees act the same way too.

Great pizza ideas and decent service, but the actual quality and flavor of the pizza was bad. It was just boring. Flavorless cardboard crust, dried out toppings, and the sauce tasted like nothing. We tried multiple kinds, it was all the same. Im not sure if it was the cooks or just their ingredients, but its just not good pizza. Id also like to keep politics out of my pizza but that didnt affect my review. Just a comment.

Food used to be good but staff can be incredibly rude and borderline disrespectful.. its not that serious guys.. youre just there to sell pizza.. not take your crappy attitude out on unsuspecting CUSTOMERS.. all my friends complain on service every time I go and lately Ive been offended more than once.. the pizza is losing its quality because of their customer service :( dinky town is only slightly better

The pizza is disgusting. The people who work there are incredibly rude and disrespectful regardless of when you go. I know of 3 people, including myself, who have had food poisoning from the pizza; beware of anything with chicken. There are plenty of better eateries in Uptown with higher quality service and food. Spend your money elsewhere.

Nothing but awesome things to say about this Mesa! Grande and the rest of the staff are super helpful and friendly! The pizza by the slice is awesome- always lots of options. The fresh cookies are amazing. Ive not been at night, but during the day Mesa is relaxed and has great music- excellent place for lunch or an afternoon snack.

Their pizza is really good their service however is awful. They misrepresent their delivery area and constantly miss quote delivery expectations. If you can get it in person, the service will be terrible but the pizza will be good. If you order for delivery its definitely not going to represent the quality of their offering.

Great jumbo new york style pizza slice. Their core customer is no doubt the rowdy drunk yuppies that pour out of the douchy bars of Hennepin around midnight. Nevertheless, the food is great and cheap at around $3.50 a slice. They have plenty of unique and inspired pizza types including southwest burrito or penne pasta.

Normally the pizzas pretty good and the staff is standoffish in a way thats okay for dealing with drunk people. I just ordered a pizza that took an hour and a half and I could barely stomach one slice. Seriously gross. Greasy, old and clearly uncared for. My brother tried to eat two slices and his chest hurt.

The best, affordable pizza in Uptown. The biggest bang for the buck. Their menu is creative with lots of different ingredient combinations, and you can order by the slice if youre in the store. Delivery is free. They frequently give out $3 off coupons for a whole pie or BOGO coupons for slices.

Super fast and super good. A quintessential pick up pizza spot with lots of creative slices and pizzas available for everyone kind of taste. I got the buffalo chicken pizza and it was so good. Also theres window seating so you can watch the uptown bustle while you enjoy your slice. Great spot.

Pizza is great sometimes! And dont worry about the staff, its apparently store policy to act like a hipster douche bag! Dont forget to get the pasta pizza! They open up a fresh can of chef boyardee and dump it on the pie! Mmmm so good!

Called in for delivery and was put on hold for 8 minutes. I called back and told them I was on hold for that long and the employee told me they were busy in store and couldnt take my delivery order. Terrible customer service

Pizza is always awesome, great prices and a terrific location. However, the staff is incredibly rude and misrepresents the brand. I personally know a handful of individuals that will not get pizza at mesa because of this.

Great place for a midnight snack in uptown. Its pretty busy on weekend nights, but they pump out pizza fast. The staff were friendly, and the pizza was great. The mac and cheese pizza is hands down my favorite.

Holy S*IT?!! A good pizza place in MN?! Coming from the east coast, this is a huge relief. They have a bunch of funky slices too (my fav is Mac and cheese) but a plain cheese pie never disappoints either.

I had some sort of potato pizza. It was pretty good. Not super amazing. But pretty good. Staff was friendly on a Sunday afternoon. Excited to try the Mac and cheese pizza next time.
