DO A SEARCH for him on YOUTUBE! 9,000 hits in ONE DAY! PLEASE READ!!! 5 star rating is because somehow Google does not publish his low star ratings. YOU will see your one or two star posts, but no one else will! "Mike"s real name is Ayman Abdul Tel. I tell you this because you can look up MN criminal records for free. He has been accused on his FB page of stealing credit card numbers, and he does have multiple convictions that seem to support that. He had convinced me I was going to partner with him in opening a new restaurant, in order to steal ideas and get free labor out of me. He even offered to falsify documents to show I was working for him (for insurance and loan purposes), but not actually pay me for it, that was the last straw. You can see by his criminal history, he has done this before, it is called theft of services. I worked a full day in his kitchen before he told me he wasnt going to pay me, and I am happy to tell you the truth about him now. His cooler condenser is raining all over his produce and other products, opening the door for Legionnaires Disease for his crew and customers. He uses gyro meet as a door stop in his cooler, which has about a half inch of standing water in it. They wash dishes in the prep sink, where your fresh produce is prepared. There was not a single bottle of sanitizer, or tablet of quatramine in the whole store. They are beyond abusive to the employees, at least one of whom is special needs. They have no understanding of kitchen timing, and dont care that your burrito is going to be made first, then someone will start the kitchen food, and bring it out piece by piece. Saw several tables with family, not one of them ate at the same time. He actually thinks his personal interaction with the customer outweighs customer waiting times, so he wont let anyone else make the food. He literally said he doesnt care if people have to wait four minutes for him to come to the kitchen, they came to see HIM! He has an extensive criminal history, about 8 pages long which includes numerous counts of fraud as well as domestic abuse. Eat there if you want bad service and possibly tainted food. Just dont ever trust him.

I have been wanting to check this place out for a while now, and timing and empty stomach finally came into alignment tonight. I took my three kids with me. The moment we walked in the door, there were a few key things that struck me. First, I was welcomed warmly by the crew. Second, it was incredibly clean. Having worked in restaurants, those details make a huge difference. I was pleasantly surprised at the robust menu and open to food suggestions. So they recommend I try a burrito this time, and a gyro next time. I love me some good mexican food, so I went burrito. You order up, just like a chipotle, but they have their own flare to the mix. Spanish rice took my curiosity for a ride, and I loved it. The meat was tender and incredible. And there were some twists, like fresh squeezed lime over everything, and fresh cilantro! WHOA! So, so good. When you get a burrito, make sure they finish it by throwing it in the grill press. That little crunch to the burrito was clutch! But for me, the real test is the kids. And when we pulled away from there, my oldest said, "Dad... we gotta come back here. That was the best meal, like the BEST grilled cheese, I have ever had." Im not making this up. Despite the fact the burrito was the size of a baby (YES, I shared it with my kids), I snuck a bite of my other sons mini corn dogs. Whoa. I think they made a fresh corn batter for them. They were stupid good... and that was the kids meal. Highly recommend you pop in and give it a try! Im looking forward to making a trip back!

I will update later... As Im not going to review a place off of one experience. However, with that said, I really enjoyed their tacos. So much that I felt the urge to post this review. I took a chance and got crazy and let her put the chipotle sauce on 2 of my 4 tacos... I recommend it. I had the barbacoa with 2 hard and 2 soft shells. They have a chipotle-like setup where you tell them what you want on your shiz. Again, how crazy, right? Anyhow, I guess they have other mexican stuff like burritos and hamburgers. Im informing and educating you right this second, and you dont even know it. Thats right, the hamburger was invented in Mexico. I believe it was way back in 1998. I have yet to try anything other than their tacos, BUT THEY WERE FIRE, SON. Mr. Large Burrito, Ill let it slide that the name is not Mrs. Large Taco. Although if you guys decide to rename your establishment, I fully endorse it. Make America great again, Mr. Large Burrito, you have my vote.

Stopped into Mr. Large Burrito after a round of golf. Fantastic burrito. Its as big or bigger than a chipotle burrito and tastier. What Mr. Large has that Chipotle doesnt, is they grill their burrito after putting it together. Its excellent. More importantly, their tortilla is better than chipotles. It has the taste and flakiness of the tortillas I get when I visit south Texas. Really, really good. Lastly, chips and salsa? They have it. But more importantly, a burrito and tater tots? Just a wonderful combo. Their tots are deep fried, crisp, and excellent. I dont know if Id travel from the city just to eat here, but if Im anywhere near the north metro, this will be my lunch/dinner of choice. Ill definitely be back.

I honestly dont know how this place gets decent reviews. Never again!! I moved from the city 3 years ago and returned today and was incredibly surprised to see this place still open. My previous review of this place years ago almost mirrors my experience today. The chicken in the burrito was dry, burnt and tasted horrible. I wont be surprised if I get sick later even though me and my wife only consumed about 6 bites of the burrito between the two of us. The restaurant itself was filthy with dust and grease build up on the walls that looks like it hasnt been cleaned since the place opened. Absolutely disgusting I definitely wont ever go back again!

Great place!! Just discovered it and have already been back twice in a week. The first time I visited I ordered a chicken burrito. It was 50% bigger than Chipotle and just as good. Today I took my daughters for hamburgers. We got 3 half pound burgers, drinks and fries. Plenty of food for three. All for less than $25. The menu makers it better than Chipotle because of all the choices. Hamburgers were better and bigger than Five Guys but only $6.50 each! No one does half pound burgers for under $10 but Mr Large does.

This place would blow Chipotle out of business! My friends and I drove past this place all the time on our snowboard trips to Trollhaugen. We checked reviews and a lot of said it was good so we checked it out. The food was GAS, best $6 burrito Ive ever had and will ever have. The proportions are perfect, and they even have a grill to finish the burrito off. The burritos are always fresh and taste AMAZING even for left overs. I have recommended this to all my friends and co-workers. Best burrito shop EVER.
