Literally the worst Chinese food Ive ever had. My fiancee and I ate here recently and will never be back. She ordered a burger and fries, which she said was ok. I figured Id go with something basic and ordered sweet and sour chicken, because how could anyone screw that up? Well, they found a way. It was barely edible. For some reason, when you mixed the S&S sauce with the rice and chicken, there was no flavor, so it tasted like you were eating cardboard. Ive never had Chinese that bad before. What made matters worse is that we were the only table there and the food still took 25 minutes to come out. The decor was boring and there was no music playing, so there was just an eerie silence. The only good aspect of the whole place was the waitress, who was very nice. I highly recommend avoiding this place. There are far better restaurants in Delano to eat at.

I first went to this place with a customer of mine. Ive been hooked since. This is one of those lost hidden places that only the locals know about. This is what I would call a "Greasy Spoon" place. If you dont know what that is, its a compliment! If you are looking for a burger be prepared. They are 1/2 pounders and delicious. The rest of their menu is great to. I love the commercials. They have now joined with another local business thats a chinese food place. Its like going into this old time small town cafe but you can also get great chinese food! Its great! To top it all of the portions are big and the prices are small. Im almost afraid to leave this review as I dont want to ever have to wait when I go there LOL!

The service was terrible!!! We had to go up to get a server to come clean the table and take our drink order. Then it took forever to get our waters. She even brought them and set them on a table near us then went on to do something else before actually passing them out. Breakfast took a long time but was good. She checked back once and then never came back. We had to go up to the counter for to go boxes and get our checks. She then gripped about how we needed separate checks. There was 4 of us and the only thing we each had was the meal, no beverage. Not exactly hard to separate. I would not go back because the service was that bad. Also kept calling us "Hun"...

The people here are very rude and the quality of the food tends to be very poor/old. Customer service is horrible, we made a 40 dollar order and part of the meal was missing half the ingredients so I called the next day and told the lady on the phone and her exact response was I should have called yesterday if I had a problem. We will NEVER order again and we used to order once a week minimum for low quality food youd think the service Would be better, not the case here. Chun mee hands down they use fresh ingredients not frozen like Lins uses and the flavor is way better.

Breakfast food is pretty good but their Chinese food is terrible. It doesnt taste like any Chinese food Ive ever had before. I can live with all that. What bothers me and everyone else the owners are so cheap they wont let you tip your waitress with a credit card. It can be incredibly awkward if you dont happen to have cash on you. And I know theyve lost great help because of the new owners doing this.

Will not go back. The owner refuses to update the credit card machine to make it possible to include the tips for her wait staff. Its not posted anywhere. If you dont have cash the owners wait staff get stiffed. Boooo! Seems like wage theft to me

Edie Maes is a hidden gem in Delano, Minnesota. Friendly service, great food, and good options. In particular I enjoy the Reuben Sandwich, Hot Turkey Sandwich, and French Toast. Drop your business card in the jar for a chance to win a free lunch!

I dont understand the mixed views here. I moved to Delano last summer and I Edie Maes is one of my favorites. I am surprised by the quality for such a good price. I have been back several times and will keep going there. Great place!

Excellent breakfast. Very good hash browns. The stuffed hash browns are enough for two or a very hungry person. Only downside is that they change the menu to Chinese in the afternoon and evening and the the Chinese food is mediocre.

Edie Mae has the BEST STUFFED HASH BROWNS this side of the moon. Not always the friendliest staff, but the food is well worth it. From Chinese to French toast, I think even Apple Pie! Dont miss the $5 cheeseburger basket!

Literally, the best pancakes I have ever had! Good portions and price. Everyone raves about the stuffed hash browns; for me- they were just okay, but we ordered without onions. My hubby liked them a lot.

There is no better place to get breakfast than Edie Maes their servings are huge and the prices are great you cant go wrong with the pancakes the size of plates or the mound of stuffed hashbrowns yum!
