Even though I am big on reading reviews, I never write them but I cant go without writing one for this Olive Garden. First off, we arrived about 830pm. Pretty normal crowd for a Monday night. We stood at the door between 5 to 7 mins without someone even coming to the door to check if someone needed to be seated, even though there was an associate sitting in the bar area eating and could have simply went to tell someone that there were guests at the counter. Heres the kicker, the associate got up to take her food to a different table so I guess she wouldnt have to be bothered with guests coming through the door to spend their money at her place of employment. Secondly, once seated we waited quite a while to even get drinks. I asked for a high chair for my 2 year old son and had to end up asking for it 2 more times before we actually got it brought to our table. Now we are at our about to be meal. We ordered the pick 3 for our appetizer which took a while to get to our table but it was ok we were just talking and waiting on our food, no big deal right? Well it came out cold, he sprinkled cheese on it and it didnt melt, it just sat on top of the food. So we let him know it was cold and he took it back. He returned to the table and said he had them remaking it for us. We said thanks! When he returned I noticed that it was the exact same food they just warmed it up. So now it dark and dried up, I was shocked! Never have I never been somewhere and sent food back and they brought me out the same exact food that I could tell. When we let the waiter know he said " yes, you said it was cold". My mouth dropped! He couldnt be serious. We got up and left. Never will I ever pay for something that isnt right. From the moment we walked in and stood at the door for that long I knew it wasnt going to be a good visit. Next time I will follow my first mind and if we cant get seated right away when its not busy that will be our sign to just turn and walk away.

I went here with my girlfriend for our 3 year anniversary. I ordered unlimited soup salad and breadsticks, the waiter brought me out 4 (everyone else got like 12 when he brought theirs) a bowl of soup and some salad. I finished off all of what he brought to my table then waited for him, he was helping and asking every table around mine if they would like more breadsticks ect. He literally ignored us the entire time. He did not fill up our drinks at all, I seriously have never had such a bad experience at a restraunt. I told the manager and he refunded it and offered a free bowl of soup, to be honest I think he should have refunded the whole thing. My girlfriend didnt finish her food because here I am just waiting for this waiter to come back. Im just so disappointed, this was supposed to be a nice date on our anniversary and it ended with both of us pissed off. Im not sure if he was ignoring us because we look young or he thought we would not tip him well or he was just too busy. it really could be a million things, but I just cant help but be angry. I will never go to this place again, it was a waste of time and money. I seriously would not recommend it at all. He literally helped every one around us, offering them refills on everything the whole time, weaving around our table. It was actually humiliating... then he comes up to us after about 40 minutes of me waiting and says "to go boxes?" I was thinking Are you serious? I ordered UNLIMITED BREAD STICKS? WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD I EAT 4 AND BE DONE? It really was the worst experience at a restraunt I have had in my entire life.

Decent food but overpriced for portion size and not very authentic Italian food: more like spaghetti with meatballs, traditional American stereotyped Italian food restaurant. Nothing on the menu will blow you away. Location: in a great spot off of County 10/Coon Rapids Blvd and easy access to Hwy 10 north and south. Also easy access to 610. You can easily see the restaurant from County Rd.10/Coon Rapids Blvd but its a little hard to figure out how to get to its parking lot. If youre on County Rd.10/Coon Rapids Blvd you turn south onto Springbook. Then take the first left turn you can make. You will notice an office building with a MN Gastroenterology sign on it. Continue past that building and follow straight into Olive Garden parking. There are designated handicapped parking spaces but there are not enough in my opinion. Some of the accessible parking spaces are in terrible locations, some quite a distance to the accessible ramp to get up the curb. Inside the staff are happy to accommodate for a person with mobility issues/using a wheelchair. There are benches and mens and womens restrooms located in the entry area where you give your name to wait for a table. Waiting times can be Very long, even during non-peak hours. Be prepared to wait or if you cant wait long have a backup restaurant planned that will have little to no waiting.

Took my boyfriend out for dinner to celebrate our 4 year anniversary last night (Oct, 28th 2015) Was seated in a corner where I felt like we couldnt get any attention from any waitress, our own waitress didnt seem too fond of us sharing a lasagna fritta appetizer and a tour of italy plate with unlimited breadsticks and salad. Everything was over priced but was very filling, we werent being taken care of like any waitress should. Our drinks were gone and werent even offered a refill my boyfriend had to drink from mines, there were just plates covering our whole table that needed to be taken away but never were until we finally just decided to pay and leave, we ended up tipping 10% of our whole bill. Overall the food was nice and hot, tasted very bland though, the atmosphere was ok, but wasnt treated with respect like every customer should be.

We usually enjoy this restaurant, but this establishment is apparently losing its quality of food and service. Upon ordering, my fiancee happened to mention he is from Canada, and the waitress stated "oh, thats the problem". He was hurt by her comment, and was about to walk out, but I assured him it was just a joke. The salad that was served was wilted, my "all you can eat soup" was served late, we had to practically beg for more bread sticks (they are all you can eat), and when we finally got our entrees, they were not very good. My fiancees pizza was served cold, and my soup, which was normally very flavorful, was bland and not the usual fresh-tasting. As much as we would like to say that this might have been a one time experience, sadly, this has happened the last time we were there as well.

We order take out from Olive Garden Northtown once a week. Today we ordered an order of the Parmesan Crusted Tilapia, and the Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara. When we got home I realized that the Parmesan Crusted Tilapia (it has always been awesome) did not include the angel hair pasta. I called to bring this to their attention and was transferred to the manager. She informed me that they had changed the menu and I needed to order pasta with the Parmesan Crusted Tilapia if I wanted pasta. We had just been given a new menu a couple weeks ago, but they had changed it. When you order a dish that you have ordered before, you expect it to be the same every time. She said she would send me a gift card. Good thing, because I am not sure I would order again.
