Everything Ive eaten here has exceeded my expectations without breaking the bank. My boyfriend and I got a mini Greek salad, pita with fries, onion rings, a western omelette with cheese and two pancakes instead of toast, plus a coffee and this all together was exactly $20. Absolutely delicious and pretty food all around. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Ypsi. Plus, their onion rings are airy and crispy. :) The staff is polite and friendly as well!

Food was excellent but when there was a mix up with our order the waitress was noticeably irritated about it. We did receive the right order but we paid for the order we didnt want. The waitress said "we arent corporate so I cant take that off your bill", whatever that is supposed to mean. Its unfortunate because my daughter is a freshmen at Eastern so we will have to find somewhere else to go for Sunday morning breakfasts.

This has been my go-to spot for breakfast in Ypsilanti for about 10 years now. The ownership has changed a few times, but the current owners have been here for over 5 years now, and the quality is very consistent. The service staff is great, and they have all been there for a while. Gets kinda busy on weekends around noon, but it is worth the short wait to get a table. Go here, and you will not regret it.

Ive been coming here since I was three years old. I really have noticed that many people that come thru those doors are recognized by people. The Food is just amazing and its a really clean enviorment. Small but fills up really quickly so I suggest coming here really early. I just love it. This is truly "The best breakfast in town".

This is a fantastic breakfast spot. Its always busy and the clientele are made up of students from EMU and local families. The staff is super friendly and service is fast. The food is your typical diner food, but its done well! I can recommend this restaurant without any reservations... Get it? Reservations? Restaurant? :)

Brought in our softball team in between games. The owner was awesome. He had us all seated in under 20 minutes. We didnt sit together but we all enjoyed our meals. Food was awesome! Waitstaff was excellent. And the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely recommend to everyone playing at EMU!

They didnt tell me it would be the ala carte price to adjust my order and remove an item. When I asked about it the waitress replied loudly and made it sound like I was complaining. Also the french toast was too well done, almost burned. I used to like this place but likely wont go back.

This is a great diner. We have breakfast here a couple of times a month, on average, and always find it pleasant with great food and a comfortable atmosphere. Marco and Mike work very hard, and are friendly and customer oriented. Great place for breakfast any time!

First time. Friendly service. Strawberries too sugary. Request lightly toasted came out too dark. Sausage gravy not enough sausage. American fried were good. Coffee too weak and bitter after taste. Would go back for lunch to give then another opportunity.

The gold egg is usually rather but the wait staff is helpful and efficient. The food is good, the prices are decent and the coffee is your average run of the mill coffee. This place is your average diner with above average food.

Good food didnt like that i watched the server pour coffee from a pot that had beennsitting there for over a half hour into the pot that just finished brewing. Coffee should be fresh and not mixed just to save a few bucks.

I went here as a last resort when doctors said there was nothing they could do about my total blindness and also deafness. The staff here spoon fed me when I walked in by accident and now I can see and hear. 5 stars!

Food is higher quality than most similar restaurants. Bacon is very good. There are no tables, only booths and counter service. REAL Gyros, not lunchmeat on a grill. Booth seats are worn out and need replacement.
