Tonight 9/24 my husband and I went to Firenzes to have dinner. VERY VERY disappointed. I had a coffee and hubby had a beer. I only had 2 cups of coffee. I finally had to ask a different server to get me another cup since our waitress did not bother to ask. My husband was never asked if he wanted another beer. We had our salads (which were just iceburg lettuce thrown in a bowl with a slice of cucumber and a slice of tomatoe and terrible ranch). We sat there for the longest time and finally husband flagged down our waitress and asked where our food was. She looked a little shocked and went into the kitchen. Yep, she forget our dinners. My fish was cold and baked potatoe was luke warm. His ribs were only slightly warmer but OK for him to eat. I was so irritated that I started eating my potatoe and pushed the fish to the side. When she finally walked past I told her to take the fish back and not to give me another one. I would eat my potatoe and we would leave. When she brought us the bill she said they took off my meal. Wow, how kind eh. We looked at the bill and was charged $2.98 for the potatoe I ate (which I only ate ½) and $1.98 for the substandard bowl of lettuce. Seriously – I have never been so irritated. We decided to just leave. When we went to pay the bill of course the girl at the register asked how our meal was. I told her exactly what I thought. Hmmm, she said that she wasn’t management but good to know and she will pass it on. I told her to look at the bill and see that I was charged for the potatoe and salad. She didn’t say a word. I told her that they have LOST A CUSTOMER. Obviously she didn’t really care because she didn’t get a manager. RATING – Not even 1 star. Terrible and officially off of our places to eat.

Me and my husband went out to eat and decided to eat at Firenze Restaurant. If you go there do not order the Italian food. The Minestone soup was campbells condensed soup. I know this because I buy campbells all the time and it is identical. I ordered the Gnocchi & Ravolis which were the worst I have ever tasted. The Gnocchi was not to bad but rest was awful. The Ravoli they use are the frozen kind you can pick up at any supermarket. My husband ordered spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were not cooked, extremely bland, and were made with extremely cheap meat. The sauce was from a can. It is the same sauce Elias brothers uses. In my opinion this is the worst restaurant I have ever eaten in and I have eaten in trucks stops which made better food. The service was not the greatest either. The waitress showed up took our order, got us another pop, and gave us the bill. Not once did she come by and see how our meal was. Not sure who is writing these 5 star reviews but take it from me they do not rate a 1 star. Another thing I noticed was that the same exact good reviews are on all the restaurant sites for MI. I think that maybe some of the employees are boosting there rating. Again be careful when you go here to eat their food it is all processed

My husband and I eat here a couple of times a year. Its a dated dreary little place, but the food is ok. My husband loves the eggplant parmesan and thats why we come. The prices are fair, but the service isnt good at all. Our server was an older lady who frequently needed help from another lady that I think was the manager. She wasnt personable, didnt ask us if we needed anything, and just overall did not give us a good guest experience. The table had no red pepper flakes like in the past, my roast beef was bland, my chicken soup was bland and I think it was from a can (I usually have the cod and its pretty good) the server would just drop items off at our table and then just run off. I cant remember the last time I only left a 10% tip. The place could really stand an upgrade, brightening up a bit. Its actually kinda depressing.

Terrible, I ordered Veal Parmesan. The description stated it was "veal cutlet", I was served veal patties. Anyone in food service knows the difference. For those who dont know I will explain. Veal cutlet is this slices of veal pounder and breaded and or seasoned. Veal patties are ground veal. I explained my situation and the waitress did not agree. After 3 rounds with here the supposed manager (who turned out to be the owner) came over and insisted we were wrong in a rude manner. Needless to say my meal was sent back and we will never go there again.

Ordered BBQ ribs and it tasted like they used ketchup for the sauce! I love ribs but that was discusting, My daughter had a grilled cheese and I tasted it and even that was gross! It did have very friendly staff and customers though, but I feel I paid WAY TOO much for the food. Horrible how they considered ketchup to be a BBQ sauce! I did however tip the waitress since she was sweet. I wont return here again, and I wanted a family type place for family dinners, but this wont be happening again!

I was wondering why this place only had okay reviews. The food is excellent. However the service was poor. We got seated right away, then were told the waitress would be right over. We watched several waitstaff siting at a table goofing around and socializing for 15 min, occasionally looking at us. I finally got up and told them if my money was no good here Id leave. Keep in mind the place was almost empty. They need better management.

Ordered the veal cutlet was served a party. When I brought it to their attention I was told that it was a cutlet even owner VR over and argued it was a cutlet. Sorry Mortons I was a butcher for 25 years a cutlet is a slice of tenderloin not a processed piece of shut Patty you are trying to pass of on unknowing customers and for the owner herself to Be so rude was nothing less than ridiculous and down right shameful as a business owner

This is probably one of the best blue-collar restaurant in the area. There will be some things that you wont like here however there are some really great dishes. The clam chowder is simply the best. The key is what they charge for the meals that they serve. All of their fish dinners are great. You will enjoy the french fries and their desserts are very good as well. There cannolis are highly rated.

We went there for Mothers Day dinner and joined my grandmother and her friend. My grandmother wasnt sure we were coming and so the table was too small and the staff was super friendly about it and very accommodating. They helped us move to another table despite being really busy with several large groups and made us feel very welcome despite the inconvenience to them.
