It was an awesome experience. If you are in for a good marathi style cuisine do visit this place. Vada Pav- Tasty, hot, cooked to perfection. Misal pav - good, not too spicy. Although you can ask to make it more spicy. Poori Bhaji- perfect. Poori is soft and cooked fresh. Bhaji should be a bit spicy, but good overall. Shrikhand- not sure if it was packed or made fresh. Chicken Bhakari- just try it guys. The best thing i ate in US after long. Definitely suggest the solkadi .

Authentic maharashtrian cuisine amongst all the commercial indian restaurants. Food you eat here is basically what you would find in a Marathi household. Things to definitely try is the vada pav a Mumbai staple. Also the chicken bhakri and sabudana vada are my personal favourites. Small restaurant but clean interior and fresh food. They are open limited times so make sure you check before going. Keep up the good work and looking forward to more dishes in the future.

I had to change my review after my recent visit to the place. Seems like the owner cut down the entire menu. This was the only place where we could eat Maharashtrian food and now their menu consists of only 4-5 items which we could easily eat at the neighboring Neehees restaurant (because they are better there). I am not sure if the owner is selling this place or not. But this was really a big disappointment.

I gave 1 star for the staff who is in the counter taking orders. We wanted to order one more item after finish eating what we ordered already, very disappointed to hear from the staff that kitchen is closed ( I was in the line to place order and my turn came exactly at 2pm ( they close at 2), and cant take My order. I would have been very happy if he had taken my order.

The food being unique is good. However the portion sizes are small compared to the cost and filling the appetite. The place is open only a handful of hours in a week (only on Fri-Sun) which makes it a very planned visit and one cannot go to eat casually. This makes the potion size glaringly insufficient. Size of the place is limited so cannot be a good group outing.

Good food, different if youre only used to naan and Paneer and butter chicken. The portions are a little on the smaller side but flavorful and SPICY( which I like) but I was never asked if i wanted less spice. It wasnt overwhelming. They are always nice and explained the difference in this regions food from what Ive had before.

Disappointed to see the menu reduced to only a handful items. They used to have authentic, delicious Maharastrian food, but now along with reduced times and items, they have lost the uniqueness of the food. Im hoping that the menu will go back to the original selection.

Small restaurant with delicious food. Food preparation time is longer as they make everything fresh and probably limited staff. Make sure you walk in when the restaurant opens as the special dishes of the day will not be available later.

Reminded me of home. The vada pav is the highlight. The non-vegetarian thali was really good with Bhakhri. The chicken was cooked perfectly. This would surely satisfy your cravings for Homemade Indian food and Vada pav!

Food is excellent, to those used to buffet style portions on the cheap it may seem overpriced but I think this is more than offset by the fact that its near impossible to get quality Maharashtran food in MI.

The food was good. but it was over priced. also they didnot have everything listed on the menu. They actually only had 2 dishes I which is not enough choice. Offcourse their hours are varied too.

Clean, delicious and good quality food. Pav bhaji, Vada pav are the best. Can get pricey if you are looking to fill up without ordering their thali options.
