We met my fiancé s Brother & Sister-in-Law there for dinner on Valentines Say. The server we had was awful!!! We had to flag her down to bring our bread basket while we waited for dinner & had to flag her down whenever we needed a refill on our drinks. I watched her as she passed our table to serve a couple who had been seated after us, she would walk right past us without looking to see if we were low on anything or were ready to order, which I had to flag her down to do as well. The food was not superior in any way. Our guest said they had the veal parmesan in the past & it was very good so my fiancé ordered it along with them. It was dry, hard & chewy with little flavor. They were disappointed. As for me, while eating my salad part of the cheese ball accidentally rolled off of my plate & rolled onto the floor..I showed our waitress & told her I didnt want anyone to slip & fall on it, she said it was ok & left it. I had to get up & embarrassingly pick it up. The beet salad was amazing, my veal marsala was ok, I have had better, the service was HORRIBLE!!

I’m baffled by the many 5-star reviews for this place (which was the reason I chose to dine here). Maybe they USED to be good and are now “resting on their laurels”?? First, if making a reservation, don’t bother telling them your visit is for a special occasion. They don’t care and won’t mention it at all during your entire visit. Calamari appetizer was below average. Soup came in a small, shallow ramekin less than half-full. House salad dressing was overly lemony and sour. Two stars because the entrees were good (just good) as was the bread with dipping sauce. Our waitress, Linda, was inept and sarcastic. Maybe she was overwhelmed by the TWO tables (two couples) that she had to wait on?? The overall experience threw a wet blanket on my birthday. First time visit; will not return, will not recommend. There are so many better restaurants in the Rochester/Shelby Township area, no reason to go here and shell out big bucks for small portions and aggravating service.

The service was excellent from the moment we came through the door. I was told everything is made from scratch, including the Gelatos. Dinner comes with soup & salad. I had Alfredo which Im very picky about. The homemade pasta was cooked to perfection, the sauce was buttery, exactly how Alfredo should be. The desserts are also excellent. I cant say enough about this restaurant, which recently expanded square footage to accommodate now guests. They also offer outdoor seating as well as large style picnic tables with the red and white table cloths to accommodate large groups. I will be going back to this restaurant

This is one of my two favorite Italian restaurants. As the son of Italian immigrants, I know Italian food. This place is authentic. Favorite appetizer is the sausage and peppers. The main meals are all excellent, and they come with a lot of food (salad, soup, bread, and large portions). The pastas are wonderful, and my favorite is the Chefs Casarecce. My wife once requested a specialty drink and even though it wasnt something they usually made, they gave it a shot, and after a few tries they nailed it. So great service. We dine here often and enjoy the experience every time.

Their ravioli is horrible! Nothing like you would expect from a ravioli. The stuffing has so much sugar and the broth has cinnamon in it...YUCK...it should be on the dessert menu. Even then it would not be appetizing. For a dinner entree it was extremely disappointing. The edges of the ravioli were dried out and hard. Someone needs to offer a better description of this dish so people know what to expect because its not ravioli!!! My date ordered Chicken Parmesan and said Olive Gardens is better. Not rushing back anytime soon. Our waitress was very good though.

2cd Visit, (1st not so good but they were busy). Really slow service (not busy) No one ever checked after food was delivered, which the wifes stunk from being burnt black, egg plant parm special. Tried to eat around burnt areas but gave up. My chicken parm was bland & tough but editable ate some. Soup ok but luck warm. Best part was bread basket. Told waitress as she went to prepare bill. We didnt ask for discount nor was it offered.

Straight up paid $22 for 5 ricotta-cheese-stuffed shells with pasta sauce on it. Portion size was that of an ant,I wouldnt have been disappointed if it tasted like a $22 meal buttttt the quality was less than Olive Garden. ONLY good thing about this place is the environment,it sets the mood but the food was bad and the price was even worse so I left feeling sour.

First time visit. Excellent Italian dishes. Veal Marsala best Ive had outside of Italy. Tender thin slices of veal marinated in Marsala with large sliced premium mushrooms. Supurb. Service very good, attentive and friendly. My wife had the saltimboca equally as good. Meals come with home made bread, soups and salad. Will be back.

Dinner is awesome, service is great! Brunch is ok but a huge waste of money. The French toast is basically one piece of bread cut into 8 pieces and plated nice. Hash browns had no flavor. The staff is so nice and we love the dinner so much we just sucked it up and will not return for brunch.

The food here was wonderful and we had a great server who made sure I got just the right and glass of wine for me they have with my dinner. The patio is very nice and comfortable for sitting in the summer and I really enjoyed the decorative heating element that they lit up in the evening.

The setting was nice. It was a bit busy, being it was Sweetest Day, but the service was great, the bar area after dinner was nice and overall, I would dine here again. Eggplant parm is fabulous! The marinara dipping sauce for the bread is excellent!

Be sure to make a reservation if you plan on Dinner. Chef Sal is awesome. The heart and soul he puts into the dishes he creates comes out in the flavor and style. Sapori is a must if you are in Shelby Township and love Italian foods!
