If I could, Id give it 10 stars. My family and I ordered from here for the first time last night, Saturday before fathers day. We got a couple of the Polish combos that had a little of everything, a Polish dinner with vegetables and beef barley soup. I must say.....the stuffed cabbage, smoked kielbasa and sauerkraut were the best Ive ever eaten from a restaurant. Their city chicken is like none I have ever tasted before.....so tender and tasty it melted in your mouth. The mashed potatoes and gravy too, were obviously made from scratch, not powdered and the pierogi were huge and chock full of goodies. (We got several different pierogi in our order.) No kidding, we ordered five dinners for 5 hungry adults and could easily have ordered only 3 and still had tasty leftovers. This place will be our home cooked meal when I dont have the time. Oh, another thing, its not at all too salty. Something I greatly appreciate. You will too. AND they didnt charge extra for the sour cream to go on the pierogi. Every other Polish place Ive ever eaten charges extra. Do yourself a favor and try this wonderful place.

Food was ok but nothing special. Very americanized form of polish dishes. I am Polish native and what i got was not even close to my home cooking. Prices are very fair. Service was fast. I got Gulash with potato pancake. My gulash was on the cold side, I assumed it was either frozen or refrigerated and reheated to order. I did not eat it. My husband got Pierogi plate wchich was very good and he liked it. There is no decor whatsoever. Place was rather dirty and an older lady was cleaning the carpet between customers tables spreading dust all over the place. That is big No in a restaurant enviroment. Overall its a good family dinner but not a polish restaurant. We will probably not come back there.

There were 8 of us for dinner. Most had something off the Polish part of the menu. Wife had the Goulash over potato pancakes. Very good. Huge chunks of meat. I had the Polish platter with some of everything. All was very good and the city chicken was the best. We even had some of their homemade pzunkies. They were very good. We have found a new, reasonably priced place with good homemade foods.

The worst dinner we ever had. All entrees came with overcooked potatoes, canned peas (wow, the cook put a lot of effort into that one) and gravy that tasted like the ones from dry mixes. We had mushroom soup and pickle soup. Both were bad. I think they used instant potatoes in the pickle soup. That was our first and last visit. Very disappointed.

What a pleasant dining experience. We had a great time in a lovely atmosphere. The bread is phenomenal, I had Chicken Shwarma?, and it was very tasty. The staff was very pleasant and the decor seems to lend to a very relaxing environment. Everyone was very happy with their meals and the cost was reasonable. Great Mediterranean food.

Fast service, prices were good, lovely atmosphere, but im never coming back. Food had no taste, it was like eating plain food no salt no seasoning. All the food served was canned food. I couldve done way better eating my food at home freshly made. Google reviews was the reason i gave this place a try, but it was way overrated.

From the outside, nothing much to look at. When you walk in, about the same. But when you start to eat, a whole new outlook appears. The food here has not disappointed me or my family. Great American polish food, friendly staff and reasonable prices. The food 5 stars, appearance 3 stars. That makes it 4 stars in my book.

The food is delicious. Their pierogis are as good as my grandmas (tell no one). The layout is interesting; it looks like it may have been a really small banquet hall. I have taken my cousin, grandpa and boyfriend. Next will be my mom. This is my new favorite place.

Wonderful place for a meal. Pricing is great for the amount of food you get. Staff is very friendly. This is my grandpas go to place for dinner, although I normally get the breakfast anytime here. Good variety of food choices. I highly recommend going here.

Love the food. Staff is great. Prices.are affordable. Interior is very basic, but I would rather have great food and low prices than a fancy restaurant. This place is a must try. No need to drive to Hamtramck for authentic Polish food anymore.

Very good food and very quick service. Staff was friendly. A family of 4 had a bill of just over $40 and there was a lot of food for that price. Good Polish food. Will be back again.

It was a very nice evening out with my wife. It was a busy night but the restaurant had a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. We were able to talk and enjoy each others company.

This is a good place to get Polish food from. The dill pickle soup is really good, and I enjoy getting either the stuffed cabbage or the fried smelt.

Them pierogies is everything. Good Polish food. Start with the Polish platter and work your way up to the lakeside platter. Leave fat and happy.
