I have been eating at Als for the last 5 years. The food and service WAS great. Now Id rather drive out of my way to another bread basket than bother eating here. If you get your order right its good food, if that is. Also ( and this was the kicker for me), I call at 8:40pm to place a pick up order. And Im told they couldnt make my order "cause dont you know were closing in like 5 minutes" was the response. I didnt realize a restaurant had to stop filling orders 20 minutes before closing, just so they could close. Having been an employee in the food service for close to a decade, before moving on to a career in the medical field. Ive had better service at white castle and subway than Als. Hire a better night crew interested in making money and doing there job, instead of slacking off and getting paid to do nothing.

The food may be good, but the customer service sucks!! The so called manager Will did nothing but argue with me after i had to come back to the restaurant after getting home and finding out my sandwich wasnt made correctly. I think the owner was in the restaurant at the time this was going on and did nothing to try and make things right!! There are plenty of other great delis in the are that have great food and great customer service, i would recommend any of those over Als. The one star is being generous!!! Horrible experience!!! The worst part is that my family and i have been long time customers, we will never go back!!!

Just ordered about an hour ago today. We drove all the way to the deli to get some sandwiches. We ended up ordering the Reuben and pastrami which is supposed to come with cheese and Russian dressing I asked for my sandwic we ended up ordering the Reuben and pastrami which is supposed to come with cheese and Russian dressing we ordered one original and one with coleslaw dressing on the side. when we got home there was no dressing or cheese on either sandwich and no coleslaw on the one I mean $25 For two sandwiches and you cant even make it right. They need someone knew up front!

Salad was ordered tossed it was given without ranch dressing black lady at front was arrogant told me shes sure she have me blue cheese dressing and theres nothing she can do unless I drive back to the store 15 minutes away for ranch dressing. I have never been spoken to so rudely I come here quite regularly due to its convenient location. But Ive noticed this place has a hard time meeting standards, ordering a normal tuna melt is often ridiculously hard to get right.

Great Food! TERRIBLE customer service. Me and my friend went in here to buy sandwiches. Only after we purchased our food they told us we would have top leave because they were closing, even though closing werent for another 10 minutes. We had to eat our food in the car. Lousy service and the workers were Very RUDE! Wont be coming back here again!

Food is good, service is horrible. The girl out front was rude and disinterested. Ordered our food to eat there but she bagged it to go anyways and kinda tossed on the table in front of us and turned and went away without a word... We took the hint and left and will not be returning to that location just because of the service.

Food is delicious, not gonna lie but the people who work there are very rude! One person hung up on me mid sentence after trying to resolve an issue. The boss seems like a nice guy but he need to hire new people asap because it almost makes me not want to order from them any more.

Piled 4 inches high with incredible tasting bologna, stacked between two slices of the freshest bread and smeared with mustard that made for a messy but memorable experience, I shared with my sweetie at Als, the best bologna sandwich that I have ever eaten.

I have always thought this was the best bread basket deli location. My standard is the United Meat on rye grilled. I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The quality of the corned beef is outstanding.

A great "jewish" style deli that is better than it looks. Needs renovation but dont mess with the delicious food. Corned beef, pastrami, home made soups, great rye bread. Counter service only with some seating.

Roast turkey was very good. Bly needed more bacon. United had plenty of meat but the corned beef wasnt sweet enough and the pastrami really had no flavor. Over all I give a 2.5 outta 5.
