Dont believe all the hype of the other reviews, this place is a pass.Very low quality meats and cheese.The staff Seem to not give a F*&k that when I was ready to order. When I asked what the soups were the girl taking my order just pointed at a sign "rude much". I waited 10 mins for a sandwich to would take a 4 yr old 3 mins to make and the whole time i was waiting the goon working the register just stared at me "creepy" I got the ECCENTRIC couldnt tell one meat from another and couldnt be more than 2oz of meat on the sandwich. The overall feel of the sandwich was wet and soft very unpleasant. This cafe is a disgrace to all deli/ cafes. No second chances for this establishment.

Okay so if youre looking for a great breakfast or lunch place that has vegan and other healthy choices Half Day Cafe is where you want to visit. Their breakfast burritos are bursting with flavor! The potatoes are delish as well! They always have fresh fruit and a small variety of baked goods. My favorite is when they have their spinach pie! It is a large portion full of flavor. i love to order a tray at a time when Im entertaining. Lunchtime sandwiches are stacked thick with a choice of many different flavors of breads and wraps. BTW...the staff is very family oriented and just fabulous. I love the artsy atmosphere as well. Good food, good variety, good price!

Team behind the counter taking your order and preparing your food are awesome. They have fun and create some amazing tasty food. Breakfast and Lunch are delicious. If you are looking for a deli experience, come to this place. The lines can be long, but the wait time seems to be fast. The folks behind the counter are masters at preparing your food and constantly moving. One of my favorites is the Reuben and many places are able to do a mediocre rendition, few can create a masterpiece - THIS IS A MASTERPIECE! If you enjoy an excellent Reuben, you must come here and taste it.

Great place to eat. The food is fantastic. Lots of bread choices, soups, baked good, and breakfast. The line can get pretty long around lunch time but is worth the wait. Seating is a bit limited for larger groups. There is one large table that seats 8, and another long seating option where tables can be next to each other but if you are in a group of more than 4 then youll need to come early, or sit outside if it is a nice day. The hours are a bit limiting I think they close at 3pm during the week.

FABULOUS! The Golf Club is to die for! Our staff loves the breakfast burritos, potatos and I am in LOVE with the Falcon! There is nothing that Ive received yet that we havent liked. Today we went in to pick up our carryout and found they had Spinach pie and grilled Brussels sprouts on special! Of which I had to add on to take home for dinner! Everything is so yummy and fresh! The staff is incredibly friendly as well! LOVE HALF DAY CAFE! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Only one bad comment for this place. I guess we all know what that means. That person is probably never happy. I had the best experience with them. Called 2 hours ahead of time for a business box lunch. I needed 25 of them. Not only did they say they would get it done, they were courteous and professional. My food was delivered 15 minutes early and everything was fresh and tasty. I would recommend them. Thanks again for all your help.

open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Half Day cafe offers all the awesomeness of breakfast food that you would love, as well as all the brunch and lunch things you could ask for. Take Panera, make it local, lower the price, and you have half day cafe. quality. efficient. friendly. Plus they cater. the kind of catering you you would be proud to host. I am NOT an employee, I just like food and appreciate restaurants that do it well.

Great food, great service, and reasonable prices. Best of all, they besides the healthy food they brag about, they also offer the decadent food I prefer. I cannot start my day without meat and eggs. Their corned beef hash is topped off with green pepper so I can pretend Im a healthy eater. And they were willing to sneak some cheddar cheese into my eggs so I can add another pound or two to my middle. Yummy.

We have been regular business travelers for the past 3 years to Rochester, and discovered the Half Day Cafe on our first trip. Unfortunately, our client list has changed, and annual trips to the Rochester area will no longer be a reality for our group. One of our favorite places to visit on the road will no longer be an option. I certainly encourage visitors to the area to go in and give them a try!

Ordered "baked oatmeal" and it was a packet of instant oats into the microwave. The scrambled eggs had bits of black stuff, along with a random piece of vegetable here and there. My fiancée meal looked as though it was hastily thrown on the plate (and they forgot her eggs). Its too bad. Id rather go to a local cafe or diner than a chain.

Never had a bad meal, or been with someone who had one either. Excellent breads, fine standard sandwiches, and some creative twists. Definitely worth a try, or 3. Do not try bread pudding with the sauce if you have an addictive personality and any weight problem whatsoever.

Everything Ive had here is amazing, fresh and made in house. My only complaint is this. It is the ultimate brunch spot, but closed on Sundays. I cant count how many times Ive woken up Sunday morning wishing they were open.
