Crew member Christian literally ruined my planned lunch with my brother and his girlfriend. We do not live in Novi but headed up here for shopping and wanted to eat someplace simple without a crowd...we all decide lets do Panera Bread. I love Panera Bread typically... I always order their old sandwich "Chicken Caesar Sandwich on their Cheese Bread" Christian informs me thats not on the menu...I politely respond "I know that he sandwich is no longer displayed on the menu, but that every store has told me that they can make it (as they still serve chicken Caesar salad). I told him it gets charged as a Small Chicken Caesar salad, and instead of bread side it is put on the sliced bread. This crew member does not even attempt to ask any senior staff just says "no its not on the menu, so you cant order that." Are you kidding me? How is it that this establishment has BREAD in the name and all I wanted was a salad on bread and I cant do that? Yet every other Panera Bread I have been to has done it without even questioning how it is done. I literally only order this item from Panera Bread...so as my brother and girlfriend are getting their lunch I just sit down. I order NOTHING! I verbally state that I am very upset with the service, another crew member is sitting right by me and just looks up and then looks away! I will never come back here or refer this location! I feel that Christian was rude and did not even attempt to see if anything could be done. If your in he service industry realize he job title of SERVICE!

I cant say the food was bad, but Panera has become horribly overpriced. I ordered a salad, no meat, and a fountain drink and still had to shell out nearly $9. The Caesar dressing is good, but they need to put more of it on the salad--it was rather weak. It also perturbed me a bit that they are one of these restaurants that puts your dish on a scale to make certain they dont give you a fraction of an ounce over what you are allowed. Cant say Ill be going back. They used to be a decent affordable choice for lunch, but I can get a full sit-down meal with a waitress at many other places around here and pay less for a lunch special, get way more food, and even with tip will still cost less than $10.

I was at this Panera a week and a half ago. In my opinion, the manager Christine is not fit to work at her position. I work in a manufacturing management position, and you dont publicly humiliate plus insult employees to make them learn things. I do understand that her position is a fast food manager, but Im pretty sure she needs retraining if this is her normal management nature. Im not sure what rank she is there, but I can say that it is her fault if the employees arent doing things correctly. Shes the one that is in charge of making sure they understand. Hoping that she reads this, I only hope she sees the irony of her decisions and decides to fix the flaw she has.

I have been to this location a few times and have always enjoyed the Asiago bagels, baggette, and bread, it is amazing! However, I did not enjoy the Asiago Focaccia bread… Typically when I go to Panera it is for breakfast and in order of my favorite breakfast sandwiches are the ham & gruyere, bacon & gouda, steak & egg and the Mediterranean egg white on Ciabatta bread. One of the times that I had lunch from Panera I ordered the Asiago Roast Beef sandwhich that was just ok.

Always very dirty...none of the tables or seats are ever wiped down. Debris on floor. Trash can areas are disgusting. Drink station area is always messy. Food has been substandard.. almost slapped together. I usually visit during lunch and I know it is a busy time there but these circumstances have happened to me the last 4 times Ive been. And to top it off, I always pay around $20 for lunch for me and a 2 year old. Too expensive for what you get all around.

I dont know what it is with panera bread but with all the locations Ive been to there is always an issue with the dining area not being clean. You must wipe the tables and chairs off yourself. The food is ok but way over priced. Cashiers are usually nice and friendly. Please crying out loud clean your dining area in between guests!!! These tables along with others were dirty when I arrived and remained this way 20 minutes later when I left out.

Joined There by my parents, Panera is always a treat. It is not the finest panini ever toasted, but its a fun environment and ecclectic mix of patrons and baristas and workers. I have always enjoyed Panera and only found wait times to be their downfall. It has been a while since lines anywhere. Same applies to Panera, they are not as busy as they once were; they are an established and welcome addition to corporate America in food!

This location isnt maintained all that well anymore. During my most recent visit all of the tables were dirty. Granted they were busy but no one should ever be so busy to overlook cleanliness. My baguette was chewy but not in a good way. I thought Panera was doing away with additives be the bread tasted almost fake. They have several options for flavored tea or lemonade but it all tasted terrible!

Very dirty place. Those who are calling themselves managers are never worn a hat to cover their heads and every time I see hair in my food. The GM Christen is so un organized and when I complained to her she said go complain to my boss I dont care and my name is on the door and no one will listen to you. Expensive food and bad service which reflects the manager way of training also

I am a kind of a Panera mania, and this store is substandard among all stores. The biggest problem is room temperature. The store is extremely cold in fall, due to weak AC, air flow from entrances and its small size of the store. It is very crowded on Saturday, and not comfortable to stay in. Employees are mostly OK, but not as polite and friendly as the staff in most stores.

The food is mediocre while the prices are way too high for what youre getting. My son was a fan of theyre turkey sandwich until they messed up time and time again. Younger staff workers are rude and inattentive. I once bought a tuna sandwich and they forgot to wash the lettuce. I got a mouth full of dirty lettuce. Never eating a sandwich from there ever again.

This particular Panera is a busy store and shows signs of wear and tear, literally. Parking has always been difficult and tight, as in door banging. Has a drive-thru. However, and most importantly, always a good meal and service for me.

This Panera has a decades old, crumbling bathroom. It is the worst bathroom Ive ever seen in a Panera. Please update your accommodations and dont cut corners when you are charging $10 for a salad and half a sandwich.

Food good, but too expensive. They wouldnt grill my sandwich. Water cups hold about 4 ounces. Very few places to sit because people alone with a computer take up all of the larger tables and booths.
