We ordered 4 subs from here and it took 45 minutes for us to get our order of food as takeout. There was nobody in there except for 6 others and 4 of them complained about the service. We ordered each of the subs to have everything on it. When we looked at our order later on we realized that all the subs had the meat and cheese on it but not lettuce, tomatoes, onions, ect.. We called up the place to get the rest of the sandwich that was missing and told them we still wanted the condiments. The girl who answered the phone blamed the missing condiments on my brother and his friend and she said they didnt order everything on the sandwiches. When we arrived back at the place to recieve them they didnt have it ready. We waited and a different girl came out with the rest of our sandwiches. My mother was with me and told the people it was unacceptable for this to happen and the girl told us to leave the place. I think the restrauant needs to either improve their management or completely redo the staff. In the end the sandwiches werent very good because the bread overwhelmed the entire sandwich, the cheese looked like it was stale, and the meat was just smacked on.

I moved to New Buffalo August of 2015 only a few blocks from Lake House Pub (it was still Bubbas back then). Since moving here we have become regulars and I would consider myself a pretty loyal customer. Ive never been burned with a bad sandwich from here and Ive only had the pizza twice (its relatively new compared to the sandwiches), but I have been satisfied with the quality. They always give me a massive sandwich thats stacked with meat and the bread is freshly made there which to me makes it. I have never personally smelled any weed there but from what I gathered every restaurant/bar in SW Michigan EVER has employees who smoke weed. As a cheaper lunch spot thats no frills, great food for a reasonable price I recommend this place above a lot of the overcrowded staple places in New Buffalo PS: The Shirleys Chicken Sandwich and the Ky-Ky are hands down my favorite

FYI due to all the bad reviews online they changed their name...still same rip off and poor quality. Complete rip off! $14 for 3 pieces of meat and a slice of cheese. The new owner destroyed this nb icon. We gave him numerous chances but he fails at every step. ZERO quality control. A trip earlier the plastic rhine was still on meat. I hate subway but under current owner id chose subway over here...bubbas subs is THAT bad. Did i mention $14 for 3 pieces of meat and 1 slice of cheese?!?!?!

Was there this past Saturday and it was horrible! Wait over a hour and a half for food so we left! They still made us pay for our drinks, which we should not Have! There was like 3 people working who did not look very clean to be serving food! Management needs to get more people in there specially on a Saturday around lunch time! People were up serving their own drinks and beer/wine! And was NOTHING like a pub! Not a pub at all! Dont waste your money or time!

Love the pizza and sausage sandwiches. HOWEVER... brought friends here last Friday at 6pm Michigan time and was told they had no sausage for pizza that was defrosted. No sausage on a Friday night? The staff seems pretty clueless over all. I hope they get it together before they ruin this place.

Decent pizza as long as you like thin crust. Only 2 stars because the workers were smoking marijuana behind the building while we were sitting in their outdoor seating area with our children. I wouldnt recommend coming here with children but the younger no-kids crowd probably would like it.

We just enjoyed our second meal this week at the Lakehouse Pub. Tonight we split the famous Bubba Sandwich. There were four of us, and it was the perfect sandwich to split four ways. We added a couple glasses of beer and everyone was a happy camper. Well definitely come back here again.

Ordered 3 basic 6 inch subs, chips & drinks for dine in. It took more than 40 minutes to get our sandwiches. So we ate our chips & filled up on soda, thanks for the refills, while we waited for our food. Need more staff, Im thinking. Wasnt worth waiting for almost an hour, sorry.

Two hour wait at Stray Dog led us to a zero minute wait at this hidden gem. Delicious thin crust pizza and Italian inspired subs. Lots of good wine and beer on tap. Casual atmosphere. Eat indoors or out. Friendly staff. Walk to Oinks across the street for an after meal treat.

Love this place. We found it a couple of months ago while on a boating trip to New Buffalo. There pizza is amazing, the Meatlovers is reminiscent of the original Leonas pizza in Chicago. This is now a staple eveytime we are in the area. They even deliver to the marinas.
