We chose Joes Cakes of Huron Mountain Bakery for our wedding cake and cupcakes. Joe is absolutely the best in the world of wedding desserts! Our trial cake tasting with Joe was fun, relaxed, and very professional. When I saw our wedding faux cake and cupcakes, I was 100% satisfied. Joe and his team did a fantastic job! The cake/cupcakes tasted almost as good as they looked, if that is possible! Very reasonable price. Choose Joes Cakes of Huron Mountain Bakery for your next special occasion dessert. You wont be disappointed!

Not only a great selection of breads, muffins (try the carrot), and doughnuts, but also some lovely sandwiches made daily. Its a great place to swing by and pick up some sandwiches or a couple of ham and cheese croissants on the way to a picnic. The addition of Joes cakes, undoubtedly Marquettes best, has also made it an essential stop for anyone planning a celebration.

Visited this place this weekend looking for a good up North bakery. This place far surpassed all expectations. I wish we had a place like this near Chicago. This place is awesome! My wife and I tried a cream puff, red velvet cupcake, mint cupcake, and a scone....all were fantastic.

Food, as always, great. The two kids working were rude and despite it not being that busy and there being other workers there, the tables were disgusting. We usually spend quite a bit of money here because the food is great. The service might turn us away for good.

Huron Mountain Bakery is amazing! They have a huge selection of fresh baked bread (different varieties offered daily), plus they have amazing bagels, muffins, scones, pastries and donuts. The staff is really friendly and everything is priced well for the quality.

My family loves this place! The crossiants are great, the cupcakes are good. The cocunut, double chocolate and pecan cookies are consider outstanding! There cooking schedule for cookies is rather disappointing but thats the only down side.

The staff was very nice but the cake I ordered was nothing close to what I wanted. It was also too late to change it by the time I picked it up. I included a picture of the exact cake I wanted so Im not sure what the mix up was.

I loved this place before, but I just heard that Joes Cakes is coming on board!!!!! I can not wait to get everything baked i need from rolls to doughnuts and now the best cakes ever! Nice Move Huron Mountain!

Stopped in just over an hour before they close, espresso machine was off for the night, got a couple scones that were pretty awful. Scones should be light and flakey these were sponges w/fruit. Not good.

This place has the BEST blueberry donuts! They only make them every other day (alternating with cherry...which are OK). They have a lot of other great baked goods, bread and dips as well.
