the Panera in oak lawn ill is bad -bad service, twice I ordered over the phone and twice they screw up the order. last time I was on the phone for over 7 minutes to order 5 items which is a long time to ask me over and over again about the order in which I called from my cell phone ,it shows me the time-to be exact it was 7minutes and 39 sec.They told me to pick it up in 15 minutes, I arrived at Panera 35 minutes later went to pay at the register, had a free 10 dollar gift card ,gave him the gift card then he told me my balance is 19 dollars and change then I gave him our 50.00 gift card -balance was around 30.00 dollars, then i went to pick up my order at the pick up counter, the lady manager called my name and then I realized the man at the counter forget to give me my 50.00 gift card back.I told the lady manager she said let me check it out, she came back and told me she asked the man at the counter and he said YOU NEVER GAVE HIM A GIFT CARD. I SAID HOW CAN THIS BE POSSIBLE WHEN THE RECEIPT SHOWS A 30 DOLLAR BALANCE I asked to see a manager and explained this to him . HE WENT TO CHECK IT OUT CAME BACK TO ME AND TOLD ME HE DID NOT NOW WHAT HAPPENED, I TOLD HIM DID THE GIVE CARD JUST GET UP AND WALK AWAY. NO ANSWER FROM THE MANAGER, I THEN TOLD HIM GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK- THEY GAVE ME MY 50 DOLLARS BACK. THEN I TOLD THEM TO TAKE YOUR FOOD BACK-- I DO NOT WANT IT, YOU CAN KEEP IT, I DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH YOU PEOPLE EVER AGAIN-- I EVENTUALLY TOOK THE FOOD BECASE IT WAS GETTING LATE AND MY FAMILY DID NOT EAT SO THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS GIFT CARDS HAVE WINGS AND THEY WANT TO KEEP THE MONEY THAT YOU SPENT .STAY OUT OF THE OAK LAWN STORE - A BUNCH OF BONE HEADS RUN THIS STORE AND YOU CANT EVEN GET A ORDER OVER THE PHONE RIGHT. PANERA DEFINITELY HAS LOST MY BUSINESS. THE OAK LAWN STORE WOULD SCREW UP A TWO CAR CHINESE FUNERAL WITH NO CHINESE . KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK YOUR DOING AT PANERA IN OAK LAWN. ( CHALK UP ANOTHER ONE )AND TO LET YOU KNOW WE I ARRIVED HOME TO HAND OUT THE ORDER , THAT WAS ALSO WRONG. I AM DONE.

My errands take me to many locations around the city and suburbs. By far, my best experiences with Panera occur at the Oak Lawn store on 105th and Cicero. Im in awe of the staff there, in particular, Katrina. Its amazing how many customers she addresses by name and even remembers their orders. Today, before I ordered, she went in the back to get the cream cheese I usually get as there was none in front. Pretty great service!!! Please take a. minute to commend this fine employee. This place is extremely hit or miss, sometimes they get it right other times I dont know what they are doing back there. I have learned that there are several better more local options in the neighborhood then this Panera. Take a look at this $9 steak and cheese sandwich I received from them. When I got home I was in disbelief. The manager looked at it and didnt really see anything wrong with it. Like I said Ill be going elsewhere and you should too.

A man with long dark hair, light facial hair and a killer smile gave me the best Panera experience of my life. Sometimes I just sit in my car and wait for him. Just the other day I saw this young healthy boy resuscitate a mentally challenged elderly man. Overjoyed by his over the top service I ran up to his and gave the employee a hug and kiss. He did not like that very much and that is the only reason why this review was short one star.

I dont know why people still eat at these chains. Everytime i go here the bread is dry portions are small for the price. My sandwhich was plain, okay maybe my taste buds. But why everytime i order soup it is all broth and no soup. Frustrating. Everything else ia good but the quality of food is sub- par to me and should be to you. Just an upscale subway!!!

Second time ive had order gone wrong hear. Tried ordering online, paid for bread bowl and did not get one. When i asked a manager she said they did not have any. I asked her if there was anyway she could fix it and she rudely refused. My sandwhich was also not toasted which i requested and was inedible. Horrible waste of money.

Last night was my first time visiting this location and the service was unfortunate. The cashier Daniel took almost 15 minutes to take my order for a sandwich and could enter my phone number in the system correctly. His posture was terrible as well as customer service. Andrea, stepped in and completed my order successfully!

Had the best Fuji Apple Chicken Salad tonight that Ive ever had at any Panera in the country. Full-size was actually "full-size" with a bowl generously filled with ingredients. Food was excellent, staff were friendly and attentive, store was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stop here again.

Great customer service but went close to closing time , didnt have the bread I wanted , and had cheese chunks uncooked in the soup which made me get sick . I would recommend to close earlier or make everyones food fresh . Absolutely disgusted , and I love eating panera bread .

Very clean and cozy place to eat! Food delivered to your table or order to go. Kiosk available to place your order and pay with credit card should u not want to wait to order. A little bit higher in price but great options other than the norm!

This is one of the best Paneras around! Terry (the manager) was helpful to my entire family and our needs, which makes us want to only go to this Panera (even if it means driving a farther distance). Great service and great quality!

Waited over 10 minutes at the counter for my take-out order (soup and a cold sandwich -- nothing special) when restaurant was not busy this morning, and they still forgot my bread. Not the first time my side has been forgotten.

The manager (Mike) was very rude, they were out of bread bowls AND cheddar and broccoli soup (the only rteasons I went), half the flavors on the pop machine are broken; frankly my worst experience with the franchise so far.

Good food, fast service. Nice quiet environment for cozy lunches or catching up on work. The parking lot is a little small, especially since it is shared with other businesses. Still a great place for a meal.

Its a standard representation of a Panera. Cleaner than most. Food is Panera-quality. If thats what youre looking for, then great.... BUT there are better soup/sandwich shops out there.
