I had a pretty fun time. Enjoyed myself more than I expected. Has a nice, spacious environment, warm lighting, and plays some great tunes. Friendly waiter, although he seemed a tad overwhelmed. I had a Smores martini and loved it. Tasted great and was presented very well. I then had the fried Louie burger. It was cooked a bit more than I asked but the flavor and toppings were still excellent. Substituted the fries for mac and cheese and was not disappointed. Delicious flavor, even if a bit watery. Price was not bad, (they had $5 martinis on Wednesday, and also $1 beers) and the crowd wasnt too rowdy. Definitely a cool place in the area.

On this visit (Wednesday, April 3 @ 5PM), we sat right at the bar and the bar staff were underwhelming. The two dark-haired ladies that were bartending, were inattentive and slow (the taller one was actually rude). I was first greeted and offered a beer after about 12 or 13 minutes and two of my three refills were very slow (one was over twenty minutes). On a positive note, my food order came quickly, was prepared correctly and tasted great...kudos to the kitchen staff. Pick it up, ladies...My buddies shared my frustration with the service and dont want to come back. Friendly, attentive staff is critical for repeat business!

Good food, horrible service. We will probably never return to this location. The waitress was awful - not friendly, didnt even offer water and her ignorance of the menu was obvious. She mixed up our drink order and gave alcohol to a non drinker. Im glad he was at least of age. We were excited to try it and were upset we did not have a pleasant experience. I hate having to leave without tipping, I worked in the same field, but she worked as if my tip was unnecessary. Hopefully Novi is better.

Just leaving this establishment and the entire experience was horrible. We barely saw our waitress NICOLE, checking on our needs or otherwise. We had to ask for refills on water, she never brought my sisters side order of fries (and still charged her), hadnt cleared off our table, etc..what took the cake was when she took the bills and brought the change back and THREW IT ON THE TABLE. VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. I will never dine at this location again.

Unfortunately we have waited over an hour for our food, poor Derrick the manage has been yelled at twice within a span of 15 minutes right in front of us. Feel bad for the guy 1.00 burgers - more than anot hour wait. Missed happy hour because the waitress has been MIA. That blows. 1 star because I feel bad for Derrick.

I always sit at the bar and receive great service. Its my cheers! The bartenders are friendly and will tell you what they think about whats on tap, plus samples if youre unsure to help you decide. Foods good too and they change the menu every once in a while so you can try some new options. The tots are great!

I have been here a few times and I do believe that there is something to the other reviews about the attitude of the staff. Interestingly, to me that did not matter at all, given that the overall atmosphere is warm, cozy and the opportunity to connect to other people. And the food is great.

It was a typical Saturday night it was a little busy. Music was good. The main issue I had is that I ordered some wings as an appetizer and it looked like the chef just drizzled the sauce on my wings instead of dipping them in the Schezwan sauce. The Dearborn & Novi locations are better.

The "DJ" if you want to call him that probably hasnt passed high school music. He will always play out of date music that everyone complains about. He turns the environment extremely negative. Bar Louie has good deals but Im surprised by myself to let something like this ruin it for me

The food has little flavor and is dripping with fryer grease. The service is so slow, we waited an hour for a BLT and a burger. I had to ask to have my drink refilled. We went because it was a convenient location and the other locations weve been to have had better food.

Service was marginal waited for an hour and 20 minutes for food. Other people were served with meals they came in after us and they left before us. Did not cut us a deal on our meals even after waiting an hour and 20 minutes. Now in the food wasnt that good either.

Its Mothers day. Most places should staff for a busy lunch schedule. Appetizer took 25 minutes (loaded tots). Meal (tortilla soup) too 15 more minutes after that and it was barely warm. Although food issues were handled by the staff, the experience was not ideal.

Our 2nd time here. We ordered the same thing as the first time. It took us 15 minutes to get a glass of water. 1 hour to get our food. We complained to the waiter about how long it took. And the next day me and my friends stomachs hurt really bad the next day.

I visited the Livonia location. This restaurant has amazing food!! I love the decor and mixture of people. The wait staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants to dine in at.

Visiting this Bar Louie at Laurel Park Place mall is always a great experience. The bar staff was great with all in my group. We were attended to immediately upon sitting down. Our food and drink orders were great.

We ate dinner Friday night at Red Robin. Too bad I cannot recall our servers name, but we never had to ask him for anything. He had a perfect balance of being attentive and allowing us to have family time.

Nice location in Laura Place Mall. I enjoy hanging out at Bar Louie"s. My favorite location is Ann Arbor. Good drinks and food. They also provide a great happy hour.

$1 Burger Tuesdays! Granted, if you want to add a bunch of toppings, the price will be higher -- but for a standard cheeseburger, its still under 2 bucks.
