Very charming small breakfast spot with fantastic prices, most dishes are around 10 or under. Love the fresh flowers and white tablecloth. Get there early or later in the day if you didnt make a reservation because its always packed for the breakfast rush (its very small.) We usually have to wait for 10 to 15 minutes but its well worth it! Join the rewards program right away and youll get good discounts. My husband and I like to go most Sundays for brunch. My only wish is that they would start serving mimosas! Then it would be perfect.

Went to Recipes today, July 23. Not all that impressed. "Spuds" potato side is just baked frozen cubes of potatoes. Very underwhelming. Had the blackberry biscuit. The blackberry glaze was not that tasty. The eggs crabmeat benedict was very good. The service was really excellent. I just hope they step of the I game on the food choices and execution. If it tastes like it came off a sysco truck, then I am not coming back.

Was very unimpressed with both the menu and the food. I had read on their website that they were known for their omeletes, so I tried one. The omelete was unremarkable...very dry and not much flavor. The sandwich my dining partner had was also mediocre. I doubt they will last for very long. You have to have better food and better service than what they offer to be as successful restaurant in this economy.

Great local Mom & Pop place. Service is usually prompt and courteous. Food is almost always delicious and prepared as ordered. They have some of the best sausage! It doesnt seem to have all that extra junk everyone else fills theirs with. Love their skillets! Unless youre looking for a sugar rush, skip the blackberry biscuits.

Tried this place because of the good reviews...? Husbands bacon was razor thin. I dont even know how they did that. Pancakes were lackluster, cubed potatoes were super dry. Ketchup bottle had been refilled so many times with off brand slop that the words came off the label. Must have ordered the wrong recipes.

Weve been to recipes multiple times. Its always great food usually good service. Today we had Jimmy as our waiter, he was very polite and we never wanted for anything, but he wasnt over bearing. Our experience was great and we will be back and will be requesting Jimmy again.

Great food, no doubt. But they play the worst, most irritating pop music on a loud volume. It is a strange & contradicting choice for a more contemporary & cozy ambience, especially considering they cater to an older crowd in general as well. It can really be annoying.

Ive only had breakfast there, but their food is to die for. My favorite is waffles with fruit and whipped cream - like eating dessert for breakfast. Service has been excellent every time I have been there. With a fresh decor and cloth napkins, it is a cheerful place.

For the second time my wife picked up take away and it was awful. The first time we thought it was because it was near closing time. This time the food made us SICK AS HELL!!! Ive got food coming out of both ends if you get my drift.... Ugh...
