Ive been frequenting this venue since it first opened, and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, like a new summer day, which makes breakfast all the more delightful. Over the years Ive observed that the wait staff turnover is very low, which means (1) its a good working environment, (2) they know what theyre doing, and (3) you get to know the staff as well--it all adds up to an establishment that one wants to return to, again and again. On most occasions Ive observed the owner working right along with her staff. That, plus the longevity of the restaurant, also says good things about the establishment. The omelets are unique and delicious. Their whipped egg technique creates a dish that is more like a wonderful souffle than an ordinary fried egg "wrapper" for a filling. Combined with a great variety of inventive fillings and sauces, the restaurants signature dish is not only delicious but surprisingly filling: a single-egg omelet satisfies better than anyone elses two-egg omelete. And the two and three-egg versions are gigantic! The place does get busy on the weekends, so there may be a wait--but I think this only attests to the quality and popularity of the establishment. The food and service are worth any wait, and the cost wont break the bank. I highly recommend you try Gest Omelettes. I think youll come back! (And, no, I have no connection with the place--this is an unbiased, unsolicited comment by a long-time customer.)

The owner and hostess was unprofessional and rude. She allowed parties after us to sit down since the table was a 6 ppl table and we were 4. The party allowed to get ahead of us did not even have the full people present, only 2 were there! The other 4 did not show up for 20 minutes. This after we had been told that the next table will be ours. The server was more loving than the owner and mentioned that there was indeed an attitude problem. Dont ruin your day and experience by going to an arrogant, ego driven and non customer friendly place. She did not have the courtesy of even once approaching us and pacifying things. When I confronted on the unfairness of the process she was indignant. I can understand that people can be stressed but making your customers suffers? Boy, never going back, these people dont value customers.

Do not expect a correct order, and expect a "blame the customer" attitude. I told the person on the phone 5 times that I wanted the kids pancake. When I showed up she was in a hurry said everything was in the bag, and when I got home there was no milk. When I called to get this corrected the girl on the phone blamed me because I didnt tell her what kind of milk I wanted, and she said she didnt charge me for the kids meal because I didnt tell her I wanted the kids meal. Next, her compensation was to have me drive 10 minutes to get a single cup of milk, then drive another 10 minutes to get home to a cold meal. The food was nothing to write home about, and will never go back.

Just went down with my boyfriend this morning. Bacon was well over done, eggs if you can call them eggs were well undertone for scrambled. That part of my breakfast was taken off our ticket. The terrible part was the rude looks and tones the owner have us in her perfectly pressed white shirt. She didnt even offer to actually make it right, no apologies.. Very unprofessional in manner. Just disgusting experience in general and its really too bad because I live just down the road and would have liked to have came back. You will never run a successful business if you put your emotions into it and snub your customers. Learn some class and manners.

I normally dont complain about busy breakfast restaurants because you know that things will take a while. However when you sit and wait for your server for 20 mins and then she attends the table beside you that just sat down to take their order first, and then only attends to them, its more than a little frustrating. That same table that arrived 20 mins after also received their food 20 mins before us and were done and gone by the time were got our food. Food was terrible as well. If you order an egg white omelette be prepared for some weird texture due to random fillers and not eggs.

Hadnt been there in a few years. Loved the food then. Just returned today and the food has drastically changed for the worse. Ordered a Deli Omelette. The corned beef was barely distinguishable. Nothing but mush inside. Even the Swiss was runny. Who puts green onions in what is supposed to taste like a deli sandwich? The onions were the only flavor the omelette had. Used to get hash browns with every omelette, not now. It took forever to get our COLD order! Waitress was only pleasant when presenting the check. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Gest Omelettes inspired me to try to duplicate their recipe. As a novice cook let me tell you the omelettes you get at Gest Omelettes are not easy to make. Taking into account grocery shopping time, cooking time i re-evaluated the value i got at Gest Omelettes. Its a good deal and i invite everyone to give them a try... you will never be able to have another omelette without comparing it to Gest.

The hostess was very unprofessional when she messed up my order. I specified several times what I wanted, and the hostess blamed me for her mistake, and was being a, pardon my French, DICK instead of compensating me. I will never set foot in there again. Avoid this place unless you dont mind being treated poorly

I honestly thought that I may have found a nice little place to have lunch near work. Unfortunately the quality and taste of food does not match the excellent customer service. I have never said this about a restaurant, but the food here was horrible. I really wish that I could give a better review but I cant.

Very rude waitresses and too many unfriendly faces. It makes you wanna puke your breakfast thats how grim the folks that work there look like. Never going back... too many good breakfast options around like Lulus, uptown or the breakfast club so dont wast your time or money on this place

Cindy is very professional, kind, attentive and always has a smile. You can tell she really values her customers. The food is priced well and delicious. The atmosphere is very clean, comfortable and friendly. Servers are very attentive and kind. Great place for breakfast and lunch!

Great breakfast options. Fast and courteous service. Ive only ever gotten carry-out here but the food is always good. The place gets pretty busy on weekend mornings. If youre planning to eat here, expect a little wait on Sunday at 9am or so.

These people seem to be victims of their own success. I called ahead, so I would not have to wait too long with my wife and 3 young children. Arrived 20 minutes after calling, waited for 1 hour, and gave up. I wont come back.Simply unacceptable.

The food was great but the server was not really there. Close to 30 minutes to order in a mostly empty restaurant with no inquiry after we received the food. A little more attention would make this a great experience.
