I would have sent this directly to them, but since they don`t have an email address, here it goes. The food was good as always. When I arrived I was not asked if I prefer a table to booth. My kids and I were taken perhaps to the smallest booth I have ever seen - literally. I`m not a small guy, it takes no degree to dictate that this was an inconsiderate choice. It`s in the room to the right, next to the round booth if you doubt my assessment. I complained to the waitress and stated that they had a teaching opportunity for the hostess. She was apologetic and said that she would talk to her. I thanked her and said that I realize I`m not a small person, that was just a careless seating assignment. Before we left, a larger sized couple was being seated - IN THE SAME Booth. I saw the problem before it occurred and said to my kids "this won`t last long." Sure enough, like me, as soon as the man sat down, he stood up and complained. I pointed it out to the waitress, who assured me that she would talk to the hostess again. I suggested that a better idea might be to tell the owner. This hostess is obviously ignorant and inconsiderate. The food was good, but certainly no better than Buddy`s...I`ll think twice before returning.

This place is nothing to write home about. Tried to add just 1 topping to a specialty pizza and was told I couldn’t. Tried to get change for a dollar so my nieces and nephews could play video games and was told by our waitress to either go try at the bar or at the front cash register… On top of the poor service, the pizza was under-cooked. After dinner, we wanted to eat cake to celebrate our Grandpa’s 90th birthday, and they told us they were out of plates. Their excuse was that they had 4 large parties and were out of clean plates. Our waitress then came back 15 minutes later and violently dropped a stack of plates in the middle of the table and walked away. Do yourself a favor. Go somewhere else that cares about you. There are a lot of good posts about the quality of their food. I would have to disagree. Again, the pizza was under-cooked. Also, I am not a salad eater (I hate dressing), but was told by many at the table that the dressing was watered down. Lastly, they seem to be part of the trend of restaurants and bars that are going away from heating their bathrooms in the winter-time… Good luck!

Pizza was good, had the lunch buffet with my kids and husband we had to wait 15 min for fresh pizza, went out to leave and somebody cut the converter off my car. I was so upset :( we contacted Eastpoint police and they kinda chuckled and explained that they knew somebody was doing this but just couldnt catch them. It only takes less then a min to pull up, slide side door open, get under the car and cut away! Needless to say the MGR felt bad and offered us a gift certificate for a free LG pizza. I accepted as well as told her she needs to get camras in the back of building to cover the parking are in back. Im suprised as long as this place has been in business they didnt have camras.... Not a good expierence with my family :( ill order out my pizza while my husband sits in my car. Will never return to dine in.

Along with Louis and Buddys, Cloverleaf completes the trio of pillars of the Detroit Style pizza. Their pizza is neither as good as Buddys (though Buddys is very inconsistent) nor as good as Louis, which is the best in the area. I find their sauce too sweet and toppings too scant in comparison to the others. But, compared to the others further down the list like Shields, Benitos or Buscimis, its a full shoulder above them. Their appetizers, salads, pasta and other fare are very good. The deep fried mushrooms are gigantic and absolutely incredible. The service is good, if somewhat slow and the decor and vibe in the restaurant is fun. Best to keep in mind that it is also a bar, and can be very loud at times.

Cloverleaf can be very hit or miss. Ive had good sandwiches there before, but tonight my wife ordered fettuccine with Alfredo sauce, and it was pretty gross. There was a significant amount of oil pooled on top of the noodles, Ive never seen anything like that at other restaurants. On top of that, our waitress made several mistakes...there were jalapeños on my nachos despite my request to leave them off, and she brought the wrong dressing for my wifes salad. The rest of the food that Ive had there has only been mediocre, hence the 3 stars, but I probably wouldnt go back. There are plenty of other places to get much better pizza, sandwiches, and pasta in the area.

My husband and I live about 1/4 mile away from Cloverleaf and we go there at least once a week, even if its just for a couple beers. Everyone who works there is AWESOME! We love the bartenders and the waitstaff; they recognize us and greet us with such a friendly disposition. We have even met a couple of cooks who make great pizzas and keep a clean kitchen. We have never had anything bad to say about almost all their staff; the owners should be proud of them all. Try the pizza (even just cheese is AMAAAAZING), fried cheese ravioli, and their French onion soup! I get the soup to-go all the time

Ive been going for Cloverleaf for.years, since a young girlady. My parents would take us hete; it always was a treat. I believe that they lost their touch. The pizza world.has so much competition. And Cloverleaf pizza prices are high, when you can find a excellent pizza & more for less Ive had other items, such as their Chicken Parmigiano, pasta, soups. I am burned-out on CL foods, so I am giving them a break

Upon arrival we discovered that it was 30 min prior to closing. We were not discourage from dining in. We was not rushed to order just gently reminded of the "last call for alcohol". Our waitress was polite, knowledgeable of the meals and approachable. Above all the food was served hot and tasted great (not microwaved) the portions was on point. I recommend & will soon return to... "Clover Leaf" !

Over an hour wait curbed by sliding into the bar. I cant speak for much more that the pizza but it is da best. The deep dish bathes in a little butter/grease and the edges of the crust get well done so it is crunchy. Just the right amount of cheese and toppings to make it perfect. The breadbasket you get before dinner is awesome....

The food was just ok. The wife and I had the last buffet we will ever have here. Only good item we had was the salad. With this they didnt even offer ranch dressing on the buffet. Had to wait to find our waitress to see if we could get this. The chicken nuggets were hard as rocks. The bad thing is I usually like their food here.
