Right at the beginning of our experience at The Pub in Polaris we had an hour wait time for our table (I went with 8 other people 9 total for my friends 21st). We were eventually given the "Kings Table" towards the back of the establishment. For being a "English" Pub they did almost everything right. The decor, the Imported beer, the food on the menu; Almost everything was amazing. Then my waitress came to the table. When going to a new place for the first time its apparent the front of house sets the tone for the entire establishment, she was just not having anything to do with it that night. She barely came to our table to check up on us, had a negative "spiteful" attitude towards her, and when she came to our table she wasnt professional at all. I understand a Pub is laid back but there still has to be that apparent professionalism towards waiting tables. My biggest issue with the waiting service was the fact that when I asked for chips with my burger, mind you its a "English/UK" pub, she had to clarify that chips are french fries. Its my biggest irk when going to English/Irish pubs when I say chips and they say french fries. It even specifies on the menu that they serve chips, crisps, and either veg of the day or a accompanied salad (depending on what you ordered). Also the serving staff was wearing kilts in an English pub. I know its for fun and originality but, besides the great selection of Scottish alcohol, there isnt one Scottish flag placed on any of the walls so I feel theyre a bit misplaced. The food though, when it came up almost got rid of our growing spite for our waitress. The food at The Pub is fantastic and came at a timely fashion. Nothing that we were served was made lack luster. The Kitchen and cooks need to keep presenting the quality of food they present. The selection of alcohol is also vast too. Besides the service the establishment was well.

This place has a great selection of food. If you are looking for specialty beers craft beers all kinds of different beers this is the place to go they have a wide variety and selection. The waitress I had had a great knowledge on what to drink I was asking all kinds of questions in she suggested I get the Queens velvet. It is a layered drink very good. This place is good a family dinner or for a dinner out with friends or for a fun date night. It is on the pricier side but worth it. They have a great selection for every kind of diet I had the black bean burger Belle Belhaven style and a salad. My teenage son had a cheeseburger and chips and loved it. I have had the fish and chips in the past and it is one of my favorites and all of Columbus.

The food is outrageously priced for the quality. The pot roast, the "whipped potatoes," and the peas and carrots all seemingly came out of a bag. The meat was comparable to a slab that came out of a Banquet dinner... sodium overload for a lack of actual flavor. Literally, the carrots are the square-cut tragedies on elementary tray lunches. Change your prices or your menu (which is unusually undescriptive). Any self-respecting Englishmen would assure his friends the food is NOTHING like that where he comes from.

Awesome beer selection and service- the servers are all very knowledgeable about their beverages and can always help customers make well informed decisions. My only issue is that the food is pretty overpriced and not all that great - I would say come for the drinks and apps rather than a meal, but overall its a great experience!

I cannot get enough of this place!!! The service can be slow at times but this happens anywhere when its busy. I dont mind the tide I sometimes get from the bartenders. Its all part of the experience. Its fun, the drinks are excellent and the price is right. Its a chill spot and I recommend it.

Great pub with great beer selection. Loud on Friday nights and weekend nights but Im old so thats my fault. Theyre catering to a younger crowd and I wish them all the best. Occasionally have Kilkenny on tap which is a real treat. Super friendly staff, both in evenings and earlier.

Excellent British ambiance except for the size. Plenty of pictures of Winnie. Strange, but no pictures of Neville Chamberlain... unless it is hidden because of current British politics. Fish and chips are delicious and the beer selection works. The layered beers are excellent@

This place is the bar Ive always wanted to open. Cheap beer, pool table, classic 70s decor, and great fried chicken! 10 bucks for a generous portion with a side. Leaves yer fingers nice and greasy for some potential necking afterwards. Easily 4 stars. Wish I lived closer!

I wish I had more money to spend there, its not too expensive and the food is great. Atmosphere is much better than the stuffy Cheesecake factory next door. They need more shepherds pie making material, they were out or maybe I was too late. But I heard thats the best.

Amazing fish n chips. Fun theme. Authentic English comfort food. The Pub Passport will keep you coming back. Impressive scotch and bourbon flights. Servers and bartenders are laid back, and the restaurant has an upbeat vibe. Nice patio seating.

I love the Pub. I go to them all over the United States... At least I used to. Until you bring the dates back, I wont be coming back. The decision to remove them was as bad as Coca-Cola going with new Coke in the 80s... Just an awful decision.

Dark wood bar at the Polaris mall. This is a beautiful place to drink and network. They have a decent international draft selection and $3 14oz happy hour specials. It can accommodate several large groups including tables, booths, and a patio.

Food was bland. Overpriced. Staff was nice but it didnt matter. Was told St Pattys Day was the worst time to come for food, spent 20 bucks on food Steak and Shake could have done better at 3 am. Thanks for nothing. I

I am from out of town but have been here close to a dozen times in my travels to Columbus. Solid bar with a solid staff. I have had some good times here. The beer selection is good and prices are reasonable.

A larger beer selection makes this bar a decent choice, but the food is typical low quality bar food and the atmosphere is typical of a bunch pof drunk people crammed into a room.

You do need to experience the Pub! We have only gone on Mondays after 7; it is half price fish and chips / trivia night! Lots of fun, and decent food.
