Ive visited the shoppe twice in six days. Both times, Ive purchased ice cream for at least six people. Today, that number grew by three! Word of mouth is something else! The ice cream is delicious; the staff is friendly and courteous, and Ive managed to find parking directly in front of the store both times! (always a plus). I will be back soon, but next time, I plan to bring someone with me to help carry the order back upstairs to the office :-) Mootown Ice Cream & Desserts Shoppe is fantastic!!!

I didnt try their ice cream, but I did ask for a cappuccino. Unfortunately, their employees on staff didnt know how to make one. My gf ordered an iced coffee. The drink tasted like it was made with day old coffee and the creamer had floating chunks in it. Overall disappointment.

Great ice cream; they had the best coffee ice cream Ive ever had. It wasnt too sweet and it had a really deep, strong coffee flavor. Butter pecan was average. Would like to go back to try other flavors.

I think their ice cream is top notch. There just arent many hand scoop shops in this area. They could have better hours but that seems to be true of most businesses in Eastern Market.

This is a cute shop with Michigan made Hudsonville ice cream. Friendly and warm staff. They also serve sone tasty food as well. Love them.

They need to change their times on the Internet. It says till 8pm but when I went there at 6pm on 29 Oct 15 they were closed
