TACO IN A HOUSE I SAY Great.. Very beautiful inside and out with super brickwork, half old house with cut out into large open kitchen and dining area. Tacos are 50 percent larger than the Taco trucks and Los Altos for a $ 1.25 each I so love them Al Pastor and the Pollo loaded with onions and cilantro. Lots of salsa and a smooth flavored hot sauce along with sliced radishes and limes. I do miss the guac sauce from Los Altos. They have a very limited menu with Quesadillas, Taco, and Tortas a very good sandwich made on homemade bread for only $ 4. This summer theyll open an outside eating area built on beautiful stone pavers. May be hard to find I-75 and Springwells go one block up and turn right on the corner of Central and Lafayette. Really easy on and off the freeway. Think of this as the Pollo Chapin of Tacos with house and all. Oh yea the seats and tables are all thick loggers style heavy made which look really cool. No alcohol yet, waiting on license.

This is a fabulous, inexpensive, and consistent Mexican restaurant! I can only speak for the tacos, since thats all I ever get, but they are great. These tacos are the real deal - cilantro, corn tortillas, and no cheese (unless you ask for some). I especially recommend the pastor, and the chorizo is great too. The servers are all really nice as well - I notice some comments about slow service, and that can be somewhat true if you just wait for your tab to come...but if you ask directly, Ive never had a problem. There are some spots in Mexican town with even better food...but this place is the best Mexican restaurant that also has decent seating, easy freeway access, and safe parking

the reviews posted here are misleading, i took my family for my birthday celebration yesterday on cinco de mayo...service was very slow and horrible, food was served lukewarm...i told our server that Im celebrating my bday hoping theyll have something but end up with nothing. I even have to ask server to turn the light over our table so we can see the food. Lastly it took more than half hour to get our tab and my wife have to get up the table to get boxes for our take home.

Omg the food is so good. The women are polite the guacamole is fresh I think they literally cracked open the avocados and made the guacamole right there. My mom is a diabetic and there is no salt on the food. Yes diabetics with high blood pressure can come here and receive a delicious meal for a great price. Neither the chicken nor steak has salt or sugar or anything. I will be coming back very often. Im very happy

Ate a couple months back. Had the Tacos with Al pastor. Great! But the place was busy. Came back on a Thursday around 530pm ordered tortas de al pastor and it was about 5 customers including us. Long story short the meat tasted funny and we sent them back. A lil disappointed. Your meat should never taste funny. Health hazard. But the ceviche was good.

manager attitude was awful my boyfriend ordered a tacos that were not tasty asked to swap for something else they refused the request so we immediately left not leaving no tip because they can eat them tacos
