These are a type of freshly baked cheese/meat pies. They are more akin to a flat crust pizza with a variety of toppings to choose from. I tried one with Sojok, which is a type of spicy Armenian meat with some cheese. I also tried another one with a mixture of two cheeses, I dont recall the specific type of cheese, but they were both amazing. I had both with a drink for under $8. Fresh food at a good price. I highly recommend you try out Samhat Bakery when in the area.

Anyone who lives near Dearborn or Dearborn Heights knows there is a bakery at every corner, but if you have not had meat pies from Samhat Bakery, you have not yet had meat pies. Ask for the thin "mashrouha" meat pies. They make pretty much everything else you usually find at a middle-eastern bakery as well. This has become my every Saturday breakfast treat. Pre-order if you can as they are very busy.

They are the best Arabic bakery I have been to. From their mini pizzas to spinach pies, theyre all just so good. The owner is a nice guy and it can get busy around the weekends. If you havent tried it you really should!

The bread itself and all the toppings are very good in taste. Everything is made fresh to order which is a huge plus but service is a bit slow for that reason.
